What an amazing place. I can not speak highly enough about this gym. The coaches are some of the…read moremost knowledgeable I've ever come across. Filipe and John go above and beyond for every single client of theirs and they really make sure you know they care. No egos exist in this place. Anyone at any fitness level can show up and feel welcome. Shout out to Jeannie for running such a tight ship. The place is always immaculate. I've been a member of 4 different gyms over the years and none compare to this place.

If you work outside like me you have to deal with heat but at least you have fresh air. I have come…read moreto this gym for years and they don't like to turn on the AC. It is set to 81°.. the worst part is the stagnant air. There is a fan on each side of this gym, 2 fans. They say we're suppose to sweat when we work out but why should I have to breathe warm stagnant air while I'm working out. There is no air movement. If you like to breathe hot stagnant air when you work out, join this gym, otherwise I would go somewhere else. Edit: Since my review I have been verbally assaulted by the owner AND the training director John Tagge. I believe this to be unprofessional and I have since quit the gym. I would have left a long time ago but I prepaid until December 2026.. The owner was upset about the honest review and basically said he's not going to be changing much because the electric bill is $4000.. he has put in 2 fans since my review. The training director, (John Tagge) has been harassing me Everytime he sees me at the gym to remove the review. I have seen him get into verbal screaming arguments with more than just myself. He likes to joke around with people but people cannot do the same , he takes it "personal" . If you go there he's the old bald guy. Watch out . Now that I'm gone , I'm going to give a full honest review of the gym. If you look at any of my other reviews they're honest personally experiences I've had and this will be no different . First off I want to say that there are good things about the gym. PROS: It is never busy. If you want to go in and get your workout done?? You won't have to wait like the bigger gyms. They have a woman named Jeannie. If it weren't for her the gym would have probably closed down by now. She is in charge of wellness. She had the owners dedicate a few rooms to wellness. Red Light bed Infrared sauna PMf mat and compression pants There is also another room but I'm not sure what they do in there. Jeannie has coordinated monthly events and she has most recently added a big room for Pilates. Every room she is involved in is clean. I want to think Jeannie keeps it sanitized herself , and they just looks great.( pictures to follow) There are some awesome trainers as well: Felipe who was my personal trainer is the best trainer I have ever worked with . He pays attention to your needs and he he can really work around injuries . He's great . Pascual is another trainer and although I don't have any personal training experience I do see that he has regular clients come in and they seem to be happy.. Rosemary is awesome. She also has her set of repeat clients for years. I believe she has trained the new owners wife for years before they acquired the gym. I speak to her clients regularly and they all seem to be extremely happy . CONS: The gym is dirty , as far as I have been there I have known it to be sanitized once.. They do have a member that comes in every morning and takes the trash out, wipes the restrooms down and vacuums the gym. I never see ANYONE sanitize the gym other than members who wipe down the machines and not everybody does that. The equipment is old . I looked up some of it and it's all roughly 14yrs old. Any new equipment is no name Chinese brand and if you touch it once the controls fall out and it's just cheap. Most all of the pull down ropes are frayed or falling apart, the handles are dirty and they keep rewrapping the pull bars instead of buying anything new. The roof leaks . It has been leaking since before the new owner acquired it. When it rains there is literally puddles and buckets all over the gym. I understand they don't own the building but with roof leaks, it gets insulation wet in areas that you cannot see. With the air conditioning set to 81° it gets very humid, which is a breeding ground for mildew , black mold and whatever else we can't see , and we breathe it. There are 3 different types of free weights and if you're anything like me I'm super OCD. Finding the same weights while stacking can be frustrating . If you're still reading this review it means you're concerned and you care where you decide to workout and breathe fresh air. The gym is $75 a month and it includes nothing but what I've mentioned. All of the wellness rooms ,(ie. sauna, red light, PMf mat, compression ) ARE NOT INCLUDED. I hope this helps sway your decision one way or another

It decreased my motivation to start a workout and even when I did workout, I was finding it hard to push myself to get a satisfying workout. I reached out to Filipe for help in writing new workouts that I can do at home since my work schedule makes it difficult to make it to a gym on a regular basis. His workouts were nothing short of exceptional. He listened to my physical limitations, access to home equipment, and goals to create dynamic, high intensity workouts. These workouts not only pushed me to my limits but also left me feeling challenged and accomplished. Overall, I highly recommend Filipe as a personal trainer. If you are looking for someone who will challenge you, support you, and help you achieve your fitness and health goals, look no further. It was evident how dedicated Filipe is to seeing his clients succeed and work towards their best selves

I never worked out routinely before going to The Lab and I really didn't have a desire to work out. But with Filipe's amazing training, support and belief in me, working out and eating healthier food is a way of life for me now. I am in better shape than I have ever been. I still have my struggles but I always know that I am equipped to deal with them now and Filipe was a guide post to me getting here. Filipe's passion is like no other. He personally works with each client to understand their strengths and weaknesses and then tries to tailor a workout around those strengths and weaknesses. I hated running when I first began training with Filipe. Fast forward four years, I ran a half marathon with Filipe and another client. HE WILL help you reach your goals if you let him. The Lab has a new home location now but the feeling of comfort, support and determination is still the same.

This is for anyone who's ever felt intimidated by lifting weights -- especially postpartum mamas or…read moremoms-to-be. I'd been eyeing this gym since March but was too shy and honestly a little nervous to pull the trigger. I'm so glad I finally did. When I say I've tried everything, I mean it: Weight Watchers, Herbalife, body wraps from "It Works," personal trainers (multiple times), 24 Hour Fitness, Gold's, Chuze, Orangetheory... you name it. I was also kickboxing 2-3 hours a day and dancing regularly -- but still wasn't gaining the strength or seeing the results I wanted. For years, people told me I needed to lift heavy weights. But even with gym memberships and trainers, I felt overwhelmed and lost. That changed when I finally booked a meeting with one of the owners, Richard. And let me tell you -- I felt seen. He listened to my goals, understood why my current routine wasn't working (kickboxing, OTF, and Gold's included), and laid out a clear plan tailored to me. My goals: * Build strength * Lift heavy * Prep for two showcases this year * Start training for competition Richard showed me how I was overtraining (too much cardio, not enough rest) and helped me refocus my time and energy. Now I'm working out less, with more intention -- and finally seeing results. So I signed up for the unlimited membership. And here we are -- nearly two months in, and I'm seeing progress I hadn't seen in years. Is it out of my comfort zone? Absolutely. But the community and instructors have made all the difference. The facility is gorgeous, clean, and right up my alley aesthetically. Everyone is so welcoming and friendly Here's a quick shout-out to the amazing instructors I've worked with so far: Art - He will challenge you. He will push you. No BS -- he knows what he's doing. He pays close attention to form and demands the best from you because he wants you to get that pump! His attention to detail and deep knowledge really shine. Richard - Super motivating with a strong presence. He gives great feedback on form and always knows how to push you. Don't be surprised if he adds weight or resistance when you least expect it -- he's not letting you coast. Dulce - I absolutely adore her classes. Her voice, teaching style, and overall vibe are perfect for someone like me -- shy and introverted. She's patient, checks in often, and really makes sure things click if you're struggling. Joseph - Humble, inspirational, and so patient -- even while sneakily adding more weight to push your limits. I really appreciate his calm energy and the way he adapts to different learning styles. Kaitlyn - Mighty and feisty! She's kind before class, but once it starts -- no mercy. She will absolutely make you work, and then some. Mark - Super encouraging and positive. He makes it easy to ask questions -- especially helpful for a newbie like me. He creates a safe space to learn and grow. If you're on the fence about trying this place -- let me just say, if I can do it, so can you. It's worth every drop of sweat. The intimidation fades fast once you meet the staff and community. Truly one of the best decisions I've made for myself.

It makes you concentrate on your muscles and focus on what you need to do instead of having to check mirrors. If your form is incorrect, that's what the instructors are there for. No looking in mirrors to see what others are doing or even causing you to be mis-balanced. You are concentrating on YOU! give The Dungeon a try. You won't regret it!

To then have my appointment canceled because priority is given to your direct members is both misleading and unprofessional. If appointments made through ClassPass are subject to being displaced by members, that should be clearly disclosed before customers purchase credits and book appointments. Otherwise, customers reasonably rely on those confirmed reservations when planning their schedules. Unfortunately, this experience has caused unnecessary disruption to my day, and I won't be returning. I hope you'll reconsider this policy or, at a minimum, make it transparent to future customers. I'll be reaching out to ClassPass to share my experience and ask them to review whether this business's booking practices are consistent with their partner expectations. Now recently postpartum, I was excited to see this location close to where I live. Initially, the girls at the front desk were very welcoming and kind. They answered questions when I stopped in and then Riley gave me a tour of the studio with the new treadmills and the rowers and weights. Jamie led an action packed class and was super enthusiastic. Then it got weird. Riley pressured me to sign up immediately for a membership. I said I would most likely sign up but I wanted to talk to my husband to figure out childcare and the best option for me. We also are going out of town so I didn't want to start a membership right away as I'm not sure when I'll be able to commit to classes. She was sarcastic and asked if I hadn't already talked to him and why I couldn't just sign up right away. She seemed disinterested all of the sudden and flipped her entire personality once I didn't sign up for a membership on the spot. It just left a bad taste in my mouth...
