    I have been training with Raina for over 3 months, she is awesome! She's very motivating and makes every workout worth your while, even if your too tired or you want to slack, she keeps you on track and pushes you to be your very best. My strength and endurance was increased so much in such a small amount of time, I have definitely turned this into a lifestyle and I give a lot of the credit to her :) so if you want someone who is positive and uplifting but can still push you and keep your head in the game see Raina!

I wouldn't work with anyone else - Gio is the absolute best. I encourage anyone who has any kind of apprehension about trying weight lifting or personal training for the first time to give this company a try. It's not a high stress gym bro type of environment, I have seen all kinds of people training. Gio really makes you feel seen and heard and encourages you to do your best in a welcoming way. I have some past injuries that tend to flare and Gio helps me work around them without hesitation. You can tell he is very knowledgeable about how the body actually moves and functions. I felt pretty intimated by weights or anything that wasn't a cardio machine before Train With Dave and I know I was really missing out because I am finally seeing my body change now that I've incorporated them. They also review your food and discuss your nutrition as well which is such a huge part of getting to your goals. I have learned so much about what I should be eating or swapping and I thought I knew all the tricks!! Can't recommend them enough, you will be in great hands with this group.

I tried doing it alone, but I quickly realized that I had no clue what I was doing both at the gym and with my diet. I needed someone to help teach me what to do. I found Coach Nate on Yelp, read through his reviews, and decided to give it a try. I am so happy I did! Nate does an awesome job of teaching you how to do an exercise no matter what your starting point is. He's very patient, constantly checking in with you and asking you questions to make sure you feel comfortable with what you're doing. He pushes you to your limit, but makes sure you have all the support you need to get past it. By the end of my 3 months, I felt comfortable and confident enough to do the workouts on my own. I knew what I was doing, I knew how to correct my form, and I knew just how much I could push myself without losing my form. Nate also helped me create a meal plan that worked with my lifestyle and met my protein goals. I remember at one point I felt like I was not making any progress until Nate started asking me questions about my diet and cooking. We both quickly realized my mistake (using way too much oil when cooking), we fixed it, and we very quickly starting seeing results again! I was able to lose 5% body fat and gain about 7 lbs of muscle within 3 months of working with Nate. I don't think I'd ever be able to accomplish that if it wasn't for his mentoring and constant support! I highly recommend you work with him, you won't be disappointed! Lagree is a whole different ballgame and challenges you like no other. If you want to shake like a leaf, lagree is the way to go. And especially at The Dungeon. Their staff has always been so friendly, their instructors top notch. There's been mentions of no mirrors being a bother - I personally LOVE it. This place is close to home and one of my old instructors from AKT teaches here so heard only good things about them. I did a Friday am trial class with Lauren at 9. I have only done lagaree once before and it was Years ago with YELP so safe to say I am a newbie and clueless in form. Lauren was nice enough but it was a standard class so I felt I had to ask a lot of questions and get clarification. I did ask her after why there are no beginner or intro classes as it would definitely be more beneficial for attendees and instructors. Oh well, not an option. I did like it enough so bought 3 classes for $65. Did not authorize any other charges and had no idea they kept my card on file. I booked a class and life happened and I couldn't show. I just thought, oh lost the class, oh well, but nope got charged a $20 no show fee as well. The only thing that was explained at purchase was the classes would expire in 30 days no otherwise information about no show or late fee. Anyways never attended the 3 classes I bought either, wamp wamp.

From the first time I walked in to get more information from Francis, everything was straightforward, honest, and no-nonsense. It's a solid space to work out without pressure. The recent expansion has added another level of real functionality and appeal, making the space even better. You get high-quality equipment, a clean and well-designed space, and great coaching without paying for hype or trends. It feels like a smart investment if you're serious about training. The atmosphere is calm, welcoming, and non-judgmental--people of all levels are there to work out, and it's easy to feel comfortable whether you're new or experienced. If you ever have questions there's always someone that can help you or assist you with what you need. It's very refreshing inside, plenty of air circulation, and always kept clean. I really like the variety of equipment and that you don't have to wait for anything. Pleasant and comfortable temperatures all day long. It is set to 81°.. the worst part is the stagnant air. There is a fan on each side of this gym, 2 fans. They say we're suppose to sweat when we work out but why should I have to breathe warm stagnant air while I'm working out. There is no air movement. If you like to breathe hot stagnant air when you work out, join this gym, otherwise I would go somewhere else. Edit: Since my review I have been verbally assaulted by the owner AND the training director John Tagge. I believe this to be unprofessional and I have since quit the gym. I would have left a long time ago but I prepaid until December 2026.. The owner was upset about the honest review and basically said he's not going to be changing much because the electric bill is $4000.. he has put in 2 fans since my review. The training director, (John Tagge) has been harassing me Everytime he sees me at the gym to remove the review. I have seen him get into verbal screaming arguments with more than just myself. He likes to joke around with people but people cannot do the same , he takes it "personal" . If you go there he's the old bald guy. Watch out . Now that I'm gone , I'm going to give a full honest review of the gym. If you look at any of my other reviews they're honest personally experiences I've had and this will be no different . First off I want to say that there are good things about the gym. PROS: It is never busy. If you want to go in and get your workout done?? You won't have to wait like the bigger gyms. They have a woman named Jeannie. If it weren't for her the gym would have probably closed down by now. She is in charge of wellness. She had the owners dedicate a few rooms to wellness. Red Light bed Infrared sauna PMf mat and compression pants There is also another room but I'm not sure what they do in there. Jeannie has coordinated monthly events and she has most recently added a big room for Pilates. Every room she is involved in is clean. I want to think Jeannie keeps it sanitized herself , and they just looks great.( pictures to follow) There are some awesome trainers as well: Felipe who was my personal trainer is the best trainer I have ever worked with . He pays attention to your needs and he he can really work around injuries . He's great . Pascual is another trainer and although I don't have any personal training experience I do see that he has regular clients come in and they seem to be happy.. Rosemary is awesome. She also has her set of repeat clients for years. I believe she has trained the new owners wife for years before they acquired the gym. I speak to her clients regularly and they all seem to be extremely happy . CONS: The gym is dirty , as far as I have been there I have known it to be sanitized once.. They do have a member that comes in every morning and takes the trash out, wipes the restrooms down and vacuums the gym. I never see ANYONE sanitize the gym other than members who wipe down the machines and not everybody does that. The equipment is old . I looked up some of it and it's all roughly 14yrs old. Any new equipment is no name Chinese brand and if you touch it once the controls fall out and it's just cheap. Most all of the pull down ropes are frayed or falling apart, the handles are dirty and they keep rewrapping the pull bars instead of buying anything new. The roof leaks . It has been leaking since before the new owner acquired it. When it rains there is literally puddles and buckets all over the gym. I understand they don't own the building but with roof leaks, it gets insulation wet in areas that you cannot see. With the air conditioning set to 81° it gets very humid, which is a breeding ground for mildew , black mold and whatever else we can't see , and we breathe it. There are 3 different types of free weights and if you're anything like me I'm super OCD. Finding the same weights while stacking can be frustrating . If you're still reading this review it means you're concerned and you care where you decide to workout and breathe fresh air. The gym is $75 a month and it includes nothing but what I've mentioned. All of the wellness rooms ,(ie. sauna, red light, PMf mat, compression ) ARE NOT INCLUDED. I hope this helps sway your decision one way or another
