Our first stop arriving in Honolulu from the airport located across a target. Perfect to pick up groceries or essentials and get a nice refreshing drink! They also sell labubus, stitch, and those official pop mart collectibles! They ask if we are military for a discount, they have nice art work along the walls and some seating. I asked what the most popular drink was and the worker said their Teapresso milk tea. So I got that with boba and less sweetness. I wish I saw their matcha series because I would have tried the banana cloud. My friends got other teas and drinks too that we enjoyed! Haven't gone to Teapresso in ages, but I'm so glad we stopped by! Teapresso Salt Lake is this cute little shop by Target that has such an expansive menu! We stopped by when they had the mango sticky rice drink, so yummy! Dare I say, better than the down-to-earth version? They had actual rice, comparable to Cow Cow, which adds to the sticky rice factor. We also tried their ube milk tea, and gosh, it was so refreshing and creamy at the same time. They had so many sweets in the fridge as well. We landed on the Dubai chocolate today but would definitely come back for all the macarons! There were 3 parties in front of us, but service was quick, and the workers were nice and attentive. We were in and out within a couple of minutes. We were easily able to find parking along the street but looks like there's parking stalls out front as well. Target parking is also just a short walk away. All in all, Teapresso Salt Lake hit the spot without us needing to travel too far from home for a boba run. Would love to come back and try other teas. read more

Pretty disappointed in this place. Seeing their menu, I was super excited that they had hawaiian flavored teas like lilikoi and guava. I ordered the guava tea, half sugar, and light ice. Sadly this is one of those places that don't fill up the cup if you ask for light ice. The person gave no warning they weren't going to fill it either. One quarter of the cup was gone after 2 sips. Secondly, it tasted really watered down to the point where it was like half cup of water with a hint of some weird tasting syrup. We also ordered a mango slush that tasted a lot better but to me, that's a basic standard drink. This place advertises on their "Build Your Own" teas and coffee but it's yuck. Right outside of Target is Teapresso Bar is a great stop when you're on the run and here there's a couple of designated stalls though I never really found issues to find some street parking. Step inside this super small location in comparison to the others you still have the fun artsy vibe here on every wall and it's the super kawaii dog, rabbit or panda doing all things well I got my favorite Pink Dragon Hibiscus and what a yummy summery sip that not too sweet but so refreshing! I highly recommend any of their strawberry drinks, including their lava flow cause they use this almost jam like strawberry (syrup?) and the pineapple tasted like dole whip. Super sweet and ice cold from being whipped up. The ube latte tasted more like just milk, but they used real potato that you can see swirled inside. We took them home and added some run to the lava flow, hehe. Tasted like a frozen Mai Tai!! Just a tip for all the 21+ Yelpers out there. If you grew up eating White Rabbit Candy and loved it as a child, then have I got the drink for you. Introducing the new secret menu item (not so secret now hehehe)-- the White Rabbit Smoothie. When I heard they have a secret menu and this was on it, I HAD to come and try it. After trying the white rabbit 711 slurpee and being totally let down, I was excited and hopeful to try this. Boy did it not disappoint. It tastes like the candy I know and love, but in drink form! It wasn't too sweet and was creamy, the perfect combination. I added crystal boba and it was perfect. Usually I don't get boba, but I decided, why not. The drink ended up being pretty filling, but it was the perfect little sugar boost that I needed. This drink isn't on the menu, so you would have to ask the staff to order it. My drink ended up being around $8 with the crystal boba. It was a pretty big size for me since I tend to nurse my drinks LOL. The drink isn't customizable, but why would you mess with it when it tastes like the candy already? The Teapresso Salt Lake has plenty of street parking outside, a small lot next door, and a stall right in front of the store. Plus you can grab a drink and take it for a Target run. I typically have had great experience with Teaspresso Bar but today was a miss. First my order was wrong but I didn't deduct a star for that as people make mistakes. The person taking my ordering seemed new. They were nice and apologetic. But the tea was not the best I've had there. My other half and I frequent boba shops and Teapresso is definitely one them especially the Waipahu and aiea locations. For the most part the experience is generally good and what you expect. However this was my first experience at this location. Wasn't expecting much because of the location and definitely on the smaller end compared to their other shops. As I walked in, I took a moment to understand the layout of the room and I was immediately greeted with a "Hi welcome! How are you?". The welcome greeting is normal but the genuine follow up? To me that's rare nowadays to have an open ended greeting essentially welcoming conversation. Already I was taken a back and replied with a "doing good, thank you". I mentioned I had placed an order online and usually they start looking at their prepared orders but the nice women immediately replied with "thank you so much for ordering ahead, it's still being prepared". That acknowledgement for ordering ahead sounded simple but again a rare kind of recognition that just elevated my experience. I apologized for arriving pretty early despite the estimated time for pick up and decided to buy some of their Dubai chocolates that they had in their showcase. After the transaction, the same women kindly asked if I was gonna head home right after. I told her not yet and asked why and she explained how she wanted to preserve the chocolates and offered some ice to add them into my insolated bag. She continued to explain the make up of the Dubai chocolates and why it'd be best to maintain its integrity for a better experience. I was just overjoyed with how much this women cared about our experience and everything was so genuine and unexpected. I rarely write reviews but this one surely deserved all its praise. I just wish I could rate more than just 5 stars. Im glad I stopped in and pretty sure I'll be coming to this location more often to support as a way to say my thanks from that single experience. My FAVORITE place by far that I visited in Hawaii!! As you can see from my photos, we stopped by probably 3-4 times during the week we were visiting. The flavors are fun and sweet, the candy is to die for, and its right next to Target so you can get your groceries and your sweet tooth all in one stop! I think this was one of the best boba places I've been to regarding flavors as they had a lot to choose from, including some specialty ones (red one in the last picture). Little talking about "Fivestars", if you sign in (and downloaded their app) the app shows which place using this point system and what kind of deal you can get. I signed in this system long time ago but I didn't know well about it. There are many places which use this system but sometimes I completely forgot about it. But almost the time I know they use this system but I had to tell them I had Fivestars account and I'd like to use it. That makes me little bit uncomfortable to use this system. BUT I was asked first time when I ordered here!!!! This place is cozy, clean, their service is nice, and all staff are very friendly. I ordered Assam milk tea with boba 25% sweetness level and my husband's Taro milk tea 50% sweetness. They make a tea after they get a order so their Assam tea is very tasty! Love their milk tea!!! Rainbow Cake - that is what drew me here. You see, I am one of those who is still devastated that Dee Lite Bakery closed down several years ago. Their iconic rainbow cake brings back fond memories of my childhood. After having an omakase lunch with Auntie (Nadine C.) on Admission's Day, I was craving for some dessert. With so many options at Ohana Hale Marketplace, Nadine blurted "rainbow cake" that got my attention. When I asked where, she replied "By Target in Salt Lake." My initial reaction was "too far" but it was a holiday and had several hours to kill so I agreed. Located on Lawehana St near Target, Teapresso Bar - Honolulu (TBH) is in the industrial area of Salt Lake and seems like they took over a factory. For the exterior, bare minimal of painting and placing their signage above were done and for the interior, walls were cheerfully decorated with cartoon character murals. I appreciated the social distancing stickers and the signs posted to respect maximum of 5 people at a time. I pretty much came to TBH to eat this rainbow cake. Auntie originally wanted to order all 4 different cakes so we could share but comprised with just 2 and ended with Tiramisu. Both of these cakes are made by Soleil d' Hawaii Bakery on the same street. To wash the cakes down, I ordered a brown sugar milk tea with no topping 50% sweet. TBH participates in the 5-star program so enter your cell phone number for future perks. The business was empty when we arrived so it didn't take much time for us to get our order. But while waiting, we were surprised by Kuuipo D., as she came in to get some drinks for her Ohana. I didn't recognize her with the face mask on but when she spoke I immediately recognized her voice. TBH is currently carryout only. Outside the business there are 2 red orange wooden benches that were out in the HOT sun. With that undesirable condition we crossed the street and ate in a shaded area. Although I asked for 50% sweet level, my brown sugar milk tea sweetness seemed like the sweetness you get from eating hard candy. It was soooooo sweet. I've requested 50% sweetness at many businesses but it seems that TBH has different standards. And as for the cakes, we both found the rainbow cake and tiramisu underwhelming. Unlike Dee Lite Bakery, Soleil d' Hawaii Bakery's version lacked distinct flavors for each colored cake layer. The Tiramisu was a tad bit better in flavor but overall, nothing to write home about. I wouldn't order the cakes again. The customer service was good. The staff was very friendly and I appreciated her technique to up-sell by pushing the ube cookies but between the 2 of us, 2 slices of cake were enough. Despite it being a state holiday, it was kind of hard to find street parking. I was tempted to park at Target and walk over but after circling around, I found street parking. Overall, a somewhat disappointing experience with an overly sweet milk tea and underwhelming cakes, I don't see the value of driving to Salt Lake for milk tea. Boba can be added on, but I passed since I was on my way to dinner... The wall murals were super cute! I was so happy! I've tried Teapresso Bar at their Pearl Highlands and Kapolei locations, so I was excited to see they have one near Target Salt Lake. Super convenient since I live 2 minutes away and I'm always at Target anyway. I went twice in one weekend already. It's street parking only, but I haven't had trouble finding a spot close by. I highly recommend their Ube Latte and Brown Sugar Milk Tea. I wasn't a fan of their Teapresso Milk Tea or the Waikiki Sunset Lemonade. Cute walls to use as a backdrop for your drink photos as well. The first time I went was right before closing and their tapioca balls were still really good. The second time I went, there were two females eating outside on the tables. I walked into the shop and one of the girls came in, putting on her mask (definitely did not wash her hands). She then took our order, handled my money, then went to make my drink without gloves. That was a little disturbing and I definitely think they can improve on sanitation especially during these times. However, I'm still really glad to have Teapresso Bar here and won't let that one experience keep me from coming back. read more

I like that they have picnic tables out front and a trash can. I guess you could walk over from Target, but without a crosswalk... Wanna chance it? Inside the walls are decorated with hip artwork. Trendy stuff for the cool school kids to take selfies. Currently there's no tables or seating. There's refrigerated snacks like macarons and pastries for purchase. The register is blocked off by a shield for everyone's safety. Its a nice spot. Hoping this spot will generate lots of business from either Target shoppers that happen to be boba lovers, the many other businesses in the area, or the school kids that venture this way. Otherwise, it seemed like an odd place to create a boba buzz. These days when you see a "new" business, don't you just cross your fingers that our support will be enough, or is that just me? Congratulations Stan on your new business venture! Although this location is owned by a high school classmate of mine (go menes!) he wasn't there and I didn't receive any special treatment so I think this review is fair enough for me to write a review. This location is in salt lake near target. It's off to the side in its own building which can be easily identified since they have a huge logo on the front. You can't miss it. The only downside is that there's no parking. I pulled in to all these reserved stalls and pulled out to the street. Anyway. As a disclaimer - I got the ok to bring my dog inside prior to even coming here, so that's why Simba photobombed almost all my pictures. So all you dog haters in businesses can go eat dust (haha!) This past week was opening weekend and they ran a promotion buy two get one free. I got 3 brown sugar fresh milk. Which came out to about $10. You order inside and then wait for your drinks outside which they bring out to you. Service was friendly and the girl said my dog was cute. I ordered it a couple days ago. I didn't have time to post it the same day so I'm leaving the review now. Still upset over the flavor nonetheless Pretty disappointed. I ordered the haupia matcha milk tea boba. It had a very strong floral flavor. I think someone used green tea instead of matcha. The green tea is what they use in the fruit tea drinks and some milk teas. Matcha is very different. No items in my drink should've had a floral taste to it. I got it delivered so I couldn't ask them to remake it. Normally, if you don't like your drink for any reason they'll remake it for you. I usually love all their drinks, so it was a real bummer. I've been a long time customer to other locations and been 100% satisfied so don't let this review discourage you from going! This was an off day for them. read more

Their teas are nice, and they have great options for how sweet you'd like your tea. Lots of customizations, and their boba is nice, soft, but with a good chew. They taste fresh, and not overly mushy or too hard. So, why 4 stars? The value isn't really there. There is SO much ice, like four sips and you're out of tea and you're sucking up dry boba. I'm not sure if there is even half a cup of tea once you take out the ice and boba. I'd still go there if I'm in the area and really want boba, but there are places that don't LOAD up the ice.
