I love this place. It may not be "fast food", but I grab food from here whenever I don't feel like cooking. The Egg Fried Rice and General Tso's Chicken are my go-to with the Roast Pork Buns and Jasmine Iced Tea. The Crab Rangoon is also to die for... I will say this...the rice isn't traditional take out "Fried Rice": Yellow/Orange/Brown coloration with an obviously fried taste to it. I think they steam all the ingredients, then run it through a wok just long enough to heat it up and serve it. The WORST customer service ever! Please BE AWARE new ownership this place food is DIRTY! There was a bug I found in my noodle dish when I almost finished the dish, I pointed out to the waiter, he took my dish n asked the owner in the back and the owner was super rude and told him to ask me what I wanted to do?! I've been here a couple of times over the years and the food is hit-and-miss. The teas, however, are always delicious. I went recently and got the Scallion Pancake, which should be tender, studded with scallions and pan fried. What I got was deep fried within an inch of its life and only had a couple scallions. Just awful. I also recently got the shrimp fried rice. It was so bland and boring. The wonton soup is fine. I've had the BBQ Pork Bun and they were really good. I've also had the Teriyaki Chicken on Stick (didn't like it) and the Shrimp Teriyaki (pretty good). There are a few things I would like to try - fried flounder and dumpling noodle soup - so I will be back. Like I said though, the teas are always wonderful. Get some tea. Came for some boba tea and Chinese food. Was not disappointed! My son and husband got smoothies (mango and strawberry) and they both tasted amazing. Will definitely be back! I live in Baltimore and I drive over 2 hours one way to eat here for one main reason - The Hong Kong Style Wonton Noodle Soup - which is the most authentic version of this soup that I have found in the entire state. I discovered this soup several years ago through a review on here by an Asian gentleman (I am Scotch-Irish...lol) who said this was exactly what he ate in Hong Kong. OMG - it is made using silky wonton wrappers with chicken and whole shrimp and baby bok choy and your choice of noodle - it is divine! I have found a few versions of this - Jumbo Seafood in Pikesville but their version, while it does have chicken and the shrimp, does not have the baby bok choy and their broth is not as flavorful and it's a dollar or two more. Chopstixx in Elkridge has their version - it is listed on their "Street Meals" menu and while it does occasionally have a scant amount of bok choy the wontons are chicken-filled only. But priced about the same as Tea-riffic and it's tasty enough as a nearby alternative. Have checked every other place but still, to date, have not found any other place with the authenticity as this little cafe. I enjoy the dim sunm and also the occasional sesame wontons BUT it is this soup and their killer frozen mocha drink the reason that I will take a four hour trip! read more

I feel as though they serve frozen Chinese food and call it their own. I have been to this place on more than one occasion. I will say I tired a noodle dish (sorry, I forgot which one) and it was not that bad. I also come to this place once in a while to get their bubble tea since it is literally the only place down here that serves it. Even their bubble tea is inconsistent. I recently tried their mango green tea as recommended and it taste like straight, perfume-y potpourri. I even asked if they could water it down and add a bit more of their mango flavoring to it, still was way too floral-y. Wonderfully delicious. We finally found Asian food in SOMD we'd want to go back too! Wonton soup was great and served at the perfect temp (& fast!) the smoothie was fantastic. Drinks are available in bottled soda and cans. Chicken lo mein and sweet and sour chicken were my personal favorites. The set up of ordering at the counter but still being served at the table was a little odd. You also get your own water, utensils and sauce at a little walk up area. This is upgraded Chinese takeout. They have some unique dishes that sets it apart like Korean BBQ sauce beef/chicken. I'm always surprised at how they manage to serve so much food while keeping the quality high. They're the only place around here with Boba too, so that's a plus. read more

We've eaten here many times and always loved the food - that's not the problem. Yesterday we stopped there to get an application for my teenage daughter. My African American fiance went in to get it. They apparently thought she wanted the app, and refused to give her one, BECAUSE SHE IS BLACK!! The woman was quite blunt about it. Very surprised by this little place! Found this place by accident when my friend and I were looking for a place to eat and the sushi restaurant was closed. i was visiting my bf in the area and, since it's in such a remote area, didn't expect much. We even laughed about the name - Tear-rific or Tea-rific? We would find out after we eat - had no idea what we were in for! My friend and I are both from HI where dim sum & asian cuisine is a way of life. And this stuff was very good and fresh! My friend, who lives in Norfolk, was very jealous that she didn't have the same quality of food in her area (quite surprising since it's a much bigger city). We enjoyed the sesame balls, siopao (buns w/red meat) and the green onion pancake thing - all fresh and yummy. Though their sizes are a bit smaller than we're accustomed to. I also had a taro bubble tea - comparable to other bubble tea places that maintain business. The service was pleasant - though a little bit different. You order your food/drinks at register before you find your own seats and pick up your own utensils, water and condiments at a central station. They also give you free fried wonton packets which are cute and yummy (try them dipping in either sweet sour sauce or soysauce & mustard mix). Though the 1st time I went they were stale. It was so good that I had my last lunch there before heading to the airport back home. This time my bf had the General Tso's chicken and I had the Chow Ho Fun house special. We each opted for the wonton soup (other option was hot & sour soup). I was glad I did! The wonton soup came with two fresh and big wontons, definitely home made just like you get in HI (and I would assume in Hong Kong). Our entrees were big portions. General Tso's chicken (came with Jasmine rice) was crispy and sweet, but not too sweet to be inedible. It was just right. The Chow Ho Fun was too "slimey" for my bf but I felt it was just right. These are the flat noodles and if you're not used to that type of noodles I can see how it can be a put off. I got the house special which meant it came with chicken, beef, and shrimp. There was only 2 shrimp in mine. I could only eat about 1/3 of it before I was stuffed. i also got another taro bubble tea. I am looking forward to going back! I do suggest they up the a/c in there and put on some music. They could also benefit from a better flow and decorations (hide the stuff in the kitchen we can see). Maybe even change the name to something that suits it - the tea menu is pretty small compared to other tea places. I was still looking at the menu when she impatiently asked me what I wanted. Then when I was giving a few options for my side options, I was taking a moment to think when she lets out a giant sigh. She continued to sigh multiple times. How rude. There wasn't even anyone behind me and the place was mot busy at all! My whole experience was ruined and I will never be coming back.
