This place is amazing! The servers were very nice and the food was amazing! The wait was about 10 minuets. The Sangria Pitcher was soo good!

Good boba tea. Service is hit or miss depending on your server. Nothing bothers me more than restaurants taking advantage of a single patron and automatically adding 18% gratuity. It would be fine if all their servers were excellent but that's not the case. So why force someone to tip that much? And I usually tip 20% or more if the server is even decent. read more

This is a great spot for lunch, working on your laptop, or hanging out. I haven't been there in the evening, so I can't speak to the adult beverages, but the menu looks interesting and diverse. I have come during lunchtime and spent several hours working there with some friends. Our waitress was great about checking in on us, filling waters, but never making us feel pressured to vacate the table in any way. I was a little surprised since the space can feel more like a restaurant than a cafe, but was absolutely pleased. I've ordered a few of the brunch items-the omelets are delicious, though nothing particularly special, but the crepes are great. I had the black bean burger on my most recent visit. It was generous and well-priced at $7 and came with chips. The only downside was that I had to ask for condiments and it was a bit dry, but the waitress was accommodating enough. I've been to Teavolve twice for breakfast. When I came during the week (Monday) it was not busy at all and the service was great. The restaurant does have WiFi so I brought my iPad with me. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. She came by often to fill my coffee. I asked her a few questions about the different drink selections and she was knowledgable about them. I ordered the belgian waffle and a side of turkey bacon. The waffle was warm and fluffy and cooked perfectly. I came back again for breakfast yesterday (Sunday morning). The restaurant looked very full, but I was seated right away. I ended up ordering the same thing because it's my go to breakfast of choice. I had the same waitress as well. Next time I will be adventurous and order something new. Although I was seated promptly, it took about 10-12 minutes for the waitress to take my drink order. She only came by once to see how I was doing and when she filled my coffee up it wasn't warm. I had anticipated the service to be on the slower side during Sunday brunch hours. Food good. Service bad. It's that simple. Teavolve has great food which is all served at brunch time really. Such as their red velvet pancakes, omelets, and home fries. Their drinks and sangrias are just ok. I've gone during none brunch times and the regular food isn't that good and the service is a major downgrade from brunch time. I actually had a terrible encounter with one of the managers and the owner in which the server charged me for a completely different bill then what I had. While trying to figure it out I waited for 30 extra minutes for her to ultimately just refund the wrong check and she charged me for the right check with no type of discount or offering of peace. Which would have been okay if the manager and owner had not been standing a few feet away from my table with absolutely no intention of speaking to me. They never once looked my way to offer an apology. I told the server before I left that it speaks of the character of this establishment that they act as if they do not care about a customers inconviencice. I tried to get over it but ultimately, I'm not going back. I refuse to spend my money somewhere who doesn't care about it's customers. There are a thousand brunches in Baltimore/DC to choose from and even more happy hours. I'll live! read more

Found them on Yelp, pretty good reviews and decided to try them out. It was mid-morning on Mother's Day 2015. We called to check if we needed a reservation. We were told it was a 45 minute wait. So we decided to visit. When we got to the restaurant, hostess was short and indicated to several guest, including us that she had little to no space. We waited 5 minutes and got seats. There were lots of available space. We ordered drinks, Strawberry Belini and a a Spike Tea. Drinks were good. Side note: server kept water coming but seemed to consciously overfill the glass and spill water on the floor purposely. She didn't clean it up either. Good thing no one slipped. Manager came by 10 minutes later and cleaned up the spill. For starters we ate the Crab Dip with Pitas. They were very tasty and fresh. The pitas were soft and warm. The Crab Dip complemented the pitas nicely. I'd recommend them as a starter. They give lots of Dip, might need more pitas. But overall excellent. As for the food, we had the Salmon Omelet and the Crab Omelet. The better of the two was the Crab Omelet. The taste was extremely fresh and the spinach was a nice touch to the omelet. The Salmon Omelet was good but a tad bit salty. Overall the meal was the best part of the visit. I am going to give them 4 stars but with a little work they could easily get 5 stars. Work on service and they easily move. People were nice and yet the service needs improvement. I will visit again and I hope that the service matches the food. read more

It didn't look that crowded that they couldn't make the drinks. Finally the manager comped us on the drinks and delivered them herself AFTER we had finished breakfast. Maybe the brunch is good (but if there's rarely a wait, can it be?), but I don't get the whole 'tea sommelier' concept. Mediocre at best. Where do I begin? The wait to be seated itself was not terrible, but it was very telling that other parties, who were seated much later than us, received the food and left much earlier. It took over 15 minutes to receive a simple tea drink, which ended up truly resembling flavored milk more than anything. One of us ordered an Eggs Benedict dish, which was gross. The hollandaise sauce was more akin to lemon juice; the "roasted potatoes" were incredibly soggy; the side dish of strawberries (served in a dirty platic cup, mind you) was clearly old and doused in sugar. Of course the English muffin, which the dish was served over, was stale and dry. The other dish was a steak hash bowl, which was more tolerable than the Benedict, but not without its flaws. The steak was incredibly fatty; the entire dish was greasy. After all this, the bill comes with an 18% gratuity automatically added (party of 2), and there's a line for an additional tip, as if we hadn't just paid it. Good try. read more

I love this place. It's very chic and modern with delicious teas and exquisite food. The portions are more cafe sized than a stick-to-the-ribs meal (at least, the sandwiches/pannini I've had), but it IS a cafe so more appropriate for a nice lunch. The tea service is adorable and the bakery/deserts are insanely rich and delicious. I usually just go for tea and sandwiches but recently tried the carrot cake with cream cheese layers. For the record, I've eaten at Teavolve a number of times. The food was okay and the service was mediocre. But I kept coming back! I work in the area and it is a short walk. I enjoy sitting outside on nice days. After today I don't think I'll return. I ordered the chicken and apple panini. After waiting almost 30 minutes to get served, the sandwich arrived. It was piping hot but very dry and the chicken was very chewy. After I got the waitress' attention, I asked her if she could bring me some sauce for the sandwich. She asked if I wanted some mayo so I said yes and she brought it. At the end of lunch, she asked if it was any better. I said no, and she shrugged her shoulders and said, "Yeah, that is the way it is with that sandwich." Really? And they serve it anyway? The only reason I'm giving less than 5 stars is that Teavolve used to have counter service where you could just walk in and order a capp or an espresso on the spot. It's still a great place (very good brunch), but you need to get a table now. That said, the location is first rate, as that particular area (it's actually in Harbor East, not Fells Point) is booming with new residential and retail development. We went here last weekend, I just got a smoothie with pomegranates. My wife got a full breakfast with bacon and eggs. Reasonably priced, better quality than Townhouse around the block. Service was excellent. They also have open mic and live music some evenings and they have comfortable seating if you want to bring your laptop or tablet and get some work done. read more

Have been a loyal Teavolve customer for years, but today really was awful. I went to study and eat. Ordered the Hummus Platter and a pot of tea, which were delicious as always. Within 5 minutes of finishing the food, the manager came and told me I needed to shut down my computer and be out within 5 minutes, then she took the teacup and left. I hadn't even finished half of the tea! So angry and uncomfortable with that interaction I left without finishing the tea and may never go there again. I've loved loved loved this place for a while! It's not your typical southern breakfast it's more clean eating. They have a wonderful selection of teas and smoothies. I the location is perfect in Harbor East but Parking right now is bad because of the construction that going on. I love to go when it's warm outside so I can eat outdoors along with sangria. During the weekend they have half price mimosa and sangria which is amazing my favorite flavor is Blush. If you plan on going Sunday's I would make a reservation. It seem hard for them to accommodate large parties when it's busy but I've seen it happen. The servers all work together unnoticed on weekends they put the 18% gratuity on you bill which I just hate when restaurants do that. Most of the time I get okay service never terrible but just average. They don't have a children's menu but my daughter find something each time. The food is filling but everything is sold separate.
