Our project required an old/failing retaining wall rebuilt, with the inclusion of upper and lower patio spaces, and steps connecting them. Rob was very open to discussion with us, helping us to refine our original vision to achieve something better. We chose all natural stone - all locally sourced and hand selected by Rob. The retaining wall was broken into two levels, adding character and interest, and opportunity for landscaping to suggest unique zones. We really appreciated Rob's input for the design. After all, he has done this many times, and he has a good aesthetic for what will really highlight the site's terrain and the views. Rob provided an estimate and a timeline that we considered to be reasonable for the work we wanted done. Payments were made by check at the start and completion of each phase. The phased approach allowed us to fully enjoy the upper patio even before the whole project was completed. When there was questions arising, or delays, Rob was prompt about keeping us informed so we knew what to expect. We would highly endorse Rob for any landscape design project.
