I like Teddy's because it's a cocktail spot that is easy going. After getting hit with a sudden case of empty nest syndrome, I came to Teddy's for moscato, reading, and dinner. The dining room was pretty busy with only a bartender/server. I pretty much assumed it would be a little wait but this girl totally rocked it. I was served right away and got my drinks on time. Fried pickle spears were on the menu and of course I ordered them and a club sandwich with fries. The fried pickle spears tasted how it was supposed to taste, they did have shredded Parmesan cheese on top. If wish NOT to have the cheese on top, let your server know beforehand. The club sandwich and fries looked very good. Buuuuut...there was a bit too much provolone cheese, no mayo, and the bread could have been toasted a little more. I did take some of the cheese out of the sandwich and it was pretty good, just needed some mayo. The fries are fresh cut and have a good taste but the texture inside was either mushy or a little too firm. I'm not a chef but when I make fresh cut fries I soak them in ice water before and that gives a good fry. Now here comes the....downside. Unfortunately the dining chairs are dirty and I was a bit uneasy sitting in one until I switched it for another chair that didn't have cloth seats. We were late night diners and I was worried that the kitchen was closed, but thankfully, their late menu still had pizza! We had the BLT Pizza and it was incredible! Really fresh, the crust was delicious and the atmosphere was REALLY nice. Our server was great and he recommended an excellent beer for my husband. Both beers were ice cold! Loved it! I wish I could've taken our server up on his offer of cheesecake, but I was too full! It's the nicest place around for miles. Worth the visit! read more

I recently had the privilege of dining at teddy's lounge. The atmosphere was very appropriate. The ambiance was cozy and inviting with dim lighting and comfortable seating. The menu offered a variety of dishes from classic comfort food to more adventurous options. Definitely try the Cajun shrimp Alfredo. The daily specials are also always worth considering. The service is friendly and attentive. I'm usually a pretty chill dude and I really enjoyed just hanging out watching baseball. Amethyst can be a real butthead, but I honestly wouldn't change anything about her. When she laughs, typically at one of her own jokes, everything else just fades into oblivion and all you can do is just hope she does it again. She has a very infectious demeanor and will always make you forget about everything else going on around you. Well worth taking the time to visit; even if it does take her forever to make a bloody Mary, or a tonic water with cranberry juice. It's damn good when it finally gets to you. Check this place out. Not child friendly. Stayed at the Little Missouri Suites. After checking into our rooms, we walked to the restaurant/lounge with my friends and their baby to grab a quick bite to eat. The hostess told us we could not sit in the restaurant with the child, but we could leave the child in the room and come back! I thought she was joking. She was not. Never again. This place is typical New Town fare, overpriced bullshit. I ordered the Messy Chicken sandwich. Menu said "roasted" chicken(nope. It was canned chicken. A very small amount)on Texas toast(nope again. A piece of fucking white bread)covered with gravy(canned or a cheap mix. Gravy was atrocious). It was worse than Denny's or IHOP could ever dream to be. Oh, they gave me a second piece of white toast, but not with canned chicken and "gravy" on it. No, it was just sitting there like a side order for breakfast. We're staying at the hotel for work so we figured we would have dinner. The food was terrible. My husband and his colleague had the halibut. Both were riddled with bones. They didn't bring their mixed veggies out until they were almost done eating. The lettuce in all three of our salads was mostly brown. Bad enough where I didn't eat mine. I had the Cuban sandwich... Terrible. The bread was hard and barely edible. The pulled pork tasted like it had been warmed up in a microwave multiple times. It had massive amounts of mustard on it. I got through about a quarter of it because I hadn't eaten all day but I couldn't finish it. Our waitress, while sweet, was neglectful. Thank goodness they have tiny kitchens at the hotel so I don't have to eat there again. Very disappointed. read more

I can't believe the waitress we had still has a job. We sat for 20 minutes before being served and when we went up to the bar to ask about it, she legitimately yelled at us. It took another 10 minutes for her to bring us menus and she had the worst attitude ever. She didn't missed one of the diner's entree altogether and when he asked if they had run out of the special or not she just said "no." She was extremely rude when we asked for separate checks. She never checked on us. We had a long day of work and I could have definitely ordered an extra drink or two and maybe dessert, but she just brought our checks and was very mean. Honestly, we were so upset about the service I can't review the food. There is a Subway and a gas station within walking distance which would be a much better choice. The hotel is nice otherwise so definitely pick food up somewhere else and come back to eat. Avoid this restaurant unless you think it's fun to get ignored and then yelled at. When we left, we were talking about it in the elevator and another person we were riding with knew exactly who we were talking about. If you hate your job so much, find another one!!! read more

Had the prime rib. Ordered it medium and it came out well. It was a piece of crap meat totally dried out. My order took about 40 mins. Service was terrible. Waited for service for about 15 mins. She took order and never saw her again. But she had time to sit by the bar on her cell phone and yack with other people. Was ready to walk out and the the food came. What a sucker I was for paying $27 for a piece of crap meal. Been there a few times and service is the same sloooww. Won't go again have learned my lesson. Not too mention the bar allows everyone to cuss and swear at a high level like sailors. Not a bad hotel, that is if you don't mind no toilet paper or extra towels when they clean the room. But anywho, the restaurant is beyond disappointing. Over priced, dried out food. Got the nachos with brisket, straight up tasted like ham (yes I know brisket is beef, but that's why I said it tasted like ham! Literally ridiculous) and had barely any on it, basically just cheese, chips and 5 beans for 10+ cause it was a special. Takes 15+ mins to get your drink and even longer to get your food. Coming from the oil field where you're tired and just want a nice meal/drink, this is not the place. Idk if they have off days or what, but this is the 3rd time this place has been disappointing. The restaurant is par, im really torn on how to write this because the food, well...its actually amazing. Comes out fresh, hot, smells and taste good and their homemade pizza is killer. However, and heres where the reason theyre only 3 star rating remains comes into play, the service for lack of better terms sucks. The waitresses dont help tables in a timely manner unless everyone at the table starts their order with alcohol. Due to my job, alcohol is not really an option when im on. So, we had to order fountain drinks or water which normally takes 15 + minutes to get on top of the previous 15 + minutes it takes to see the waitress. Once you get your drinks, you usually finish before finally getting to order your food. After that the food comes out pretty timely, but then the waitress pretty much forgets you exist. There were tables who sat down after us, left before us due to them ordering alocohol. Both times weve ate here weve waited 10 minutes before having to ask for the check. The waitresses are pretty nice but forgetful it seems. The atmosphere is awesome which has a historical feel while having a sports bar feel as well. The food is great, and if there something wrong with it once you finally get the attention of someone they fix it right away. The manager was great at fixing our issue of a call in order wasnt made so we had to wait longer and even offered to buy us drinks. I almost rated this a 2 star due to just the service. But because the food is phenomenal, they get 3 stars. Will be happy to write a better review once this is fixed. If the service was great id rate this a 4 or 5 *. Also one of our guys did order a moscow mule that he never once recieved. read more

If I could leave one start I would. The waitress I had was horrible (girl with the long braids). The first day of my stay she was very rude and had an attitude when I asked to look at a menu. She then huffed and puffed because I guess I was taking too long to look at the menu. I figured maybe she was having a bad day and I left and took my money to subway. Yesterday I returned with a group and unfortunately she was our waitress. We waited about 25 minutes before she even took our drink orders. When we ordered I got the french onion soup and beef tacos......the beef tacos never came. She stated they ran out of alot of items so I inquired if they ran out of beef to which she responded "no". I dont even think she put 2 and 2 together and realized she never brought out the tacos I ordered. Im happy she forgot though bc after dealing with her I will not be spending any more money in Teddys Lounge. The place has so much potential, but that waitress is a drag. Work ethic trash, attitude trash, but nice hotel nonetheless. If you ever visit the establishment and you get Ms. Braids AVOID AT ALL COSTS! ASK FOR A DIFFERENT WAITRESS!!! read more
