I needed my washer fixed. They charged $95 for the repair person to spend less than 10 minutes and ordered the part. It cost $75. Came back on Christmas Eve to install the part and the washer stopped working 4 days later. They came back and said it was irrepairable. Looked at my dryer and charged me $86 for a nine day fix. I spent nearly $300 and neither machine works. I went in to complain and they didnt do anything. I wont be back. Very disappointed. read more

When we bought our range and refrigerator, we were promised delivery on Friday, December 30th. They weren't delivered until January 3rd. To be fair, they refunded some of our money. But still, that meant buying carryout for 5 days and didn't really make up the difference. When the front of the "scratch & dent" range exploded in mid-March, they promised warranty service. They picked up the door of the range that I had to leave outside because they couldn't be available when they originally said they could. They brought back a different door with rust all over the top. I call BS. They're just the middle school bullies trying to take your lunch money. Never shopping there again. Paid $380 to have my washers transmission and drain pump rebuilt, got home hooked it up and water poured all over my floor as soon as it started to fill. Someone from the Battle Creek store came to look at it and found that the drum liner was cracked accused me of dropping it which I did not do both my wife and I brought it in and were gentle every step of the way. He told me they would not cover it because there no way of telling if we caused it or not and it will cost at least another $100 for a used one. I'm saying there's no way of telling they didn't mis-handle it bring it from Kalamazoo to Battle Creek. He said he would find out what my options are but hasn't contacted us back. This store usually has a very good selection of used appliances, and they refurbish them well. I usually send people here as my 2nd option to another used appliance store in town, mainly because they tend to be more expensive. I have bought appliances from them, but usually it is after I have determined that other places do not have what I need at that time, and I cannot wait. They also do delivery and installation services, but I have found they charge more for this service than one other place I usually frequent. I do not know if they offer limited warrantees with their products, but this might be something to ask. Their staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and they have another store in Kalamazoo, which they share inventory with, so this helps keep their inventory at pretty consistent levels. Definitely cheaper than buying new appliances, and a lot of times you find stuff that is just a few years old. read more

Great place to go if you need a reliable refurbished appliance with a 18 month warranty. The prices can be negotiated but not a whole lot. Their service techs are good and trained, they do offer delivery for a fee and set up. I have used them many times and will continue. read more
