Where do I begin? I…read moresuppose we start with the third party contractor who was to remove my previous driveway. Rude and unprofessional and did a poor job grading the driveway which we will reference a bit later. This same Contractor demolished multiple areas of my retaining wall I had to glue back together! Proceded to try to charge me more money while the grade was still not correct and assured me it was. Finally a few weeks after having a dirt gravel driveway sloppy muddy mess that did not drain properly they send the most amateur crew of workers to lay down some base asphalt. Lines were not straight roller marks everywhere footprints everywhere and you guessed it still not graded properly. Fast forward a good time later a much better crew shows up this time to try to salvage this mess they have created. At first glance the finished products looks pretty decent. Except the water draining toward my home and the giant pool of water that sits for days after it rains. When approached to fix this issue no resolution offered. Still fighting this first with the better buisness bureau then if no success there legal action is going to be taken. In summary run sooooo far away from this company do not even give a second look at these guys It would have been much more worth it to pay more to have this done properly the original time. Now I have to spend time and energy correcting these issues. I had a previous driveway at another home of mine put in by the Damron brothers and the experience was night and day. Damron Brothers were professionals and delivered a flawless driveway. Shame on me for not just paying more and going with my gut. Please do not get fooled by all their fancy trucks and large amount of workers this is a terrible company

The driveway is 3 yrs old and is cracking and popping badly from the prep work not being done properly and there is a divot in one spot due from the asphalt being too soft of a mix, this is on top of the work not being done to the agreed upon plan. In trying to contact them the person you need to talk to is rarely in and never returns calls. I got taken badly for a lot of money, stay away from this business

Our experience with them was awful from day 1 when they hit our gas line and didn't know it. We came home from work and smelled it. So many issues, too many to list all but a couple big ones, stamped porch has 1/2" sag in the middle, water pools when raining. No drains put in and has water running to one spot, so patio floods when it rains, cracks in retainer wall. Also there were dimensions of which we signed contract for and then were shorted. They refused to issue credit for the concrete not used. There are a lot of good concrete people in town, stay away from these guys. You get what you pay for, lesson learned!

I have shopped here since the store opened. I have gotten to know the people quite well. Andy, the owner is a very good person and all of the staff are wonderful people. The person who wrote the negative review is way off base. Their prices are fairly competitive with the big box stores for the most part, and if they don't have it, they will try to order it for you. I am in the store frequently as I do home remodeling and it is more convenient that going down to Lowe's and Menards. What I am telling you is the truth. It is a very good family store and has a large base of loyal customers. read more

Not just my annual service and pickup, but this year I hit a stick and the mower stopped working. I have a large area to mow and the grass grows tall and fast, so when I called in a panic because I was worried I'd get a ticket for tall grass, they came right away! Not only that, but they picked my tractor up at 8AM and brought it back at NOON the same day! They also troubleshot a problem I was having with the clevis on my cart bending and attached a new part in a different configuration so it would hopefully prevent any further issues. Jim and Don are the nicest guys and I always have pleasant conversations with them. It seems to honestly make them happy to give such great service and I am not exaggerating when I say they go above and beyond to make sure they can do all they can for you. Jim even said he'd have mown the lawn if he'd had the time today! I cannot recommend them enough and am so thankful the Kalamazoo location was too full to take me a couple of years ago, because paying a little extra for the pickup/dropoff to Plainwell isn't that much more and totally worth it! I am hoping to purchase a home generator at some point and this will be the business I call first!
