Food is amazing. We are fans of the fish fry. Not greasy which is great. Portions are huge for the price. Staff were friendly as well.

By far one of the worst customer service experiences my group of friends and I have ever endured. Every bartender that served us had the worst attitude and was over the top rude. Took my out of tpwer family for dinner to Ted's. The place was lively and jolly. The place was comfy. Service was freat. Food was great. We ordered the walleye and haddock. A beef sandwich with auju. Everything was satisfying. Al, our server was excellent. I would recommend it. read more

Look here...this spot is for drinking, appetizers, and a fun time out on Lake Holcombe! Any review that is telling you it's bad, they just don't get it. It decent food, fair prices, lively Banda, and pleasant wait staff. They have a beautiful lawn when the weather permits and it is just as fun inside. The atmosphere and the food was not too bad. The side salad was a joke though. Was a plate with lettuce, one cucumber and one tomato wedge. Service was not very good. We had to go up to the bar ourselves to get our own drinks. As a table of 6 we all thought she was rude. Also they have a $20 minimum at the bar if you use a card. read more

Live music outside. Great food. Horrible server she was very short with us we waited a very long time for to even get a drink order in. She practically threw the menus at us, maybe there are only 4 menus do thw whole place. Ask for another drink she set it on the other side of the table by my husband. One of the few places open on a Tuesday night in this area. Went with our 2 kids ages 11 and 8. Inside bar/dining area is big with tall tables and bar stools. There is also an outdoor seating area. Service was fast and professional. Food was very good. We ordered a pizza, haddock, and the kids meal. We would definitely go back. read more

Great hangout! Friday's have live bands and lots of people. Excellent food at any time of day.

I've always thought Ted's was a great place...good food, great atmosphere, new, clean' great view of Lake Holcombe and nice to boat into. The local bands are awesome! However, there have been a couple recent incidents that inspired me to let people know that it can also be a rowdy, dangerous place. There have been fights resulting in major injuries...recently a broken pelvis. There is no control over people drinking too much and fighting. If you go..be aware and think twice before taking children. read more

Sadly I agree with the other negative posts. It's a beautiful place, prime location and fun when they have bands outside, but the staff is horrible. The service is almost comical how bad and sometimes rude it is. I've been to Ted's a 100 times and it's only continued to get worse. Food is average bar food. Great place for the most part. If a band is playing and you want to bring your boat good luck. If they were smart they would patrol their docks because a lot of people sit on their boats while docked drinking their own beer on their boat. Docks should be for paying patrons. If people want to drink their own beer on their boat, anchor out like everyone else. Ted's loses out on a lot of money because of the waste of dock space. After waiting for a server that never showed we waited to get a drink at the bar. One waitress was sitting on a stool talking to a friend. The four tenders were talking to each other, not even facing the customers at bar. The bar tender made the worst Bloody Mary I've ever had, I politely asked her for another drink instead or to remake it, she would not replace the drink or give me another one. The customers next to me couldn't believe her behavior. The eight of us left. Bummer for Teds. read more

Ted's gets 5 stars for its amazing Saturday prime rib! It is by far the best I've ever eaten, and I love prime rib. Flavor is spot on and it melts in you mouth. If you're at Ted's on a Saturday, skip to the prime rib. It is well worth the wait if they're a bit busy! read more
