What a bizarre little golf course!! This place was probably amazing in the past, but time has not…read morebeen good to some of its amenities. You have to know that you're going to be roughing it a bit if you choose to play here, but I'm giving it 4 stars, so read on! We started by hitting some balls at the driving range, which was half boarded up with rusty lawnmowers everywhere and a decrepit abandoned snack bar abutting it that was about to fall down. We weren't even sure if we were allowed to be there when we rode up to it (but yes, this was it!). There were maybe 10 tees on the first level, only 2-3 of which were usable/accessible, but you know what, it worked for us! There is a little hotel and a bar near the course, but it wasn't operational when we were there. Either COVID or maybe since we went super late in the season (November). Bathrooms for the course were in the pool changing rooms and would you believe that there was no light in the bathroom stall? No, the bulb wasn't out, there was no fixture! The golf course itself was in good condition: grass properly mowed, putting greens without divots, clean... Not too difficult for a beginner like myself and not too easy for more experienced players. The only downside for us was the condition of the cart paths. Some selective repaving would go a long way! I honestly think their money-maker is the hotel/bar/pool/field games/kids events that they hold during the normal warmer season. This appears to be a family-run operation, and definitely a fun place to try out!

Bad experience overall!…read more I looked online for a tee time and it was wide open, so I figured I'd drive there hit a bucket and then play. I got there and they said they were booked for the next hour and a half, which is the opposite of what their booking system said. I decided to hit a bucket first so didn't mind waiting for a little while. I paid $10 for a tiny bucket of balls and half of them were chipped or cracked open. I then went to see how long the wait was and they said I could go out after the next twosome. I said let me think about it for a minute and I went and looked at the tee box to see how backed up it was. I decided what the heck I'll just play two balls and relax. So I went back in literally a minute later and they said I now have to wait for a foursome coming around for their second 9. I left immediately.

I must admit the course and clubhouse looked amazing online until you get to this course…read more I was surprised after playing 18 with a cart that they charge $92 for a weekday for these course conditions: Tee boxes are all marked up and not flat Fairways are not properly sloped so casual water on an ungulate course was surprising. Bar was dated Only good thing besides some hills were the greens, large and some tricky shots. Overall: for the pricing, I would shop around

Overpriced. Should be in the $75 range for what you get, greens look nice but are rather slow, good…read morefor a public track though. Fairways are chewed up quite a bit. Good overall layout but it is the buggiest course I've ever been on so if you play make sure you dress accordingly. Unfortunately the owner is on the cheaper side and doesn't spray the required pesticides to minimize mosquitos. The day after my round when all the bites started to appear and itch I counted 53 bites and those were just on my legs. Overall it would be a good public track, but it is not priced well for what you actually get. I've read many other reviews that have stated this course would benefit significantly from new ownership and that is the best way to put it. Unfortunately you can't have a higher end public course if the owner isn't will to open his wallet. 5 major takeaways: 1. Overly buggy due to the lack of action by the owner. 2. Greens in good shape, but on the slower side. 3. Rough dried out fairways. 4. Over priced. 5. Fun layout to play.

The facilities also appeared to be under construction and the customer service wasn't great. More importantly, the ceilings in some sections are low enough to damage personal equipment. My friend hit an unprotected metal bar along the ceiling during his follow through and damaged his driver. He is an experienced golfer who has been playing for over 17 years and has never encountered a problem with unsafe facilities until now. I did not expect the facilities to not be safe enough for its intended purpose - Golfing. If we had known this going in, we never would have wasted our time and money. In addition to losing the driver, management not only refused to comp the game, but will not compensate us for the damaged driver or take any responsibility for what had occurred. In fact, they did not even contact us following the incident, we had to reach out after several days. This incident happened as a direct result of their inability to consider a person's golf swing within their facility. For any serious golfers: I DO NOT recommend this place. DO NOT risk damaging your personal equipment. It's worth the drive to support better management and safer facilities.
