I came across this gem while visiting UAB Highlands Hospital for an appointment, and what a sweet surprise it was. They had a beautiful display of treats that immediately caught my eye. Everything looked absolutely scrumptious, like you could taste the love before even taking a bite. I couldn't resist picking up a few items, including a slice of key lime cake, and let me tell you... it was to die for. Every single thing I tried was incredible. Fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Now I'm on a mission to visit their actual storefront because this experience definitely left me wanting more. I love the HOT cinnamon rolls and I am not sure of the name. They have had it in two sizes. It does not matter if they make it with white chocolate or milk chocolate. Wanting to try something different for birthday cakes, my wife has called two times on different occasions to place a cake order with several days notice before needing it. Both times she was told the lead time was insufficient and the lady answering was extremely rude. First time - chalk it up to the lady having a bad day. Second time - there is a problem and the employee needs find some other work and replaced with someone that treats the customer with a shred of decency. Needless to say, we will not make the same mistake for the 3rd time. read more

Absolutely decadent! We stopped in on a whim this morning, and we are SO glad we did! The peach muffin was dense, moist, and so deliciously peachy. Not only were there chunks of peaches throughout the muffin, the batter was completely infused with peach flavor. The key lime pie was perfectly sweet-tart with a delicious short crust. The cookies and cream cupcakes were a favorite with my kids: vanilla and chocolate cake swirled, with a cookies and cream filling and icing. Finally, we picked up the most GORGEOUS red velvet cupcake with a hand-made sugar flower on top. Stunningly beautiful! And the cupcakes were buy two, get one free. How great is that? read more

Babi ordered unicorn bday cake here in January an surprised me with it. I haven't had the chance to try them other than that. We were headed to sylacauga today for our nieces recital and on Instagram I saw the bakeries post about lemon and strawberry mini cakes. Kese instantly added this as a detour and we were already late. She ordered the strawberry mini cake. It was cold so we waited for the car to warm it lol. It was better warm. Been dying to try this spot, but it is just not in my most frequent traveled route. So I went to my hometown home today. I stopped by on the way back home. I wasn't disappointed! I come in to friendly faces! Always a good thing. I was very indecisive and the owner was extremely patient with me. I explain to her my dilemma as far as wanting to try different flavors for a potential birthday cake purchase. She explained to me each flavor she had at the moment. The pastries were a beautiful sight!! I didn't get to taste them, because I was on a mission! So I purchased a few jumbo cupcakes. She had a good special. Which allowed me to taste multiple flavors of cake. Chocolate.. white.. or yellow cake. The chocolate cake was a bit crumbly, wasn't a favorite. The peanut butter and Nutella combination, with a ferrero rocher on top, with a yellow cake, a quite genius move! My favorite! My honey favorite was the white cake cupcake with buttercream icing with the heart decor( of course, her taste buds are truly the only one that mattered in this instance.. lol) so needless to say, we found a winner!! New to the area and pick up a cake for my wife's B-day. Yellow cake with fudge filling and chocolate buttercream. My wife loved the cake and said it was one of the best cake she has had. Very most cake, butter cream not to sweet but full of flavor and the fudge filling was fantastic. Lots of other desserts and pastries to try, we will go back for sure. I tried the chocolate chip cook sandwich. The cookie was only average but the icing was super sweet and didn't really taste like anything. It was very large, about the size of a saucer. Quantity was worth the price but not the quality. Good presentation though. read more
