This place saved my a$$ multiple times. My work is pretty demanding when it comes to asking me to get last minute t-shirts done. I was able to submit art at 6pm and have 4 shirts ready by 2pm the next day. On top of that, we added 10 more shirts with a different artwork at 1pm and it was ready same day by 4pm. Luisana is so helpful and worked so hard with my multiple last minute changes. I would say if you are looking for supreme quality and print, give them more time as you do with any screen printers. This allows you to select the style of shirt you want, ink, QC and test print, etc. But if you need something done on a very tight turnaround, this is where you need to go. They have some stock tees on their shelf that they can pull if you don't care about the style of shirt. They saved my a$$ a few times. Highly recommend it. read more

I used to own a small clothing company with my boyfriend and for the harder, more screen color projects we would hit up Lauren and her team! But they never called/emailed/texted, the moment passed, and I wasn't able to gift the shirts as I'd planned. I came into Tees On Demand on December 23rd for a very last minute Christmas gift. After coming in and explaining what I wanted, Lauren helped me a ton and explained that the design I brought in would print flawlessly, but since my picture was a little pixelated it would print that way as well, so I rushed home and threw together a second design at a higher resolution and rushed over before closing time and I made it minutes before closing. Lauren was still happy to see me, and truly wanted to make me happy with a design that I liked even though I was there past closing time (Sorry!) What made it even better is that I only told her my name once and she remembered it the second I walked in. Remembering a customers name is the greatest way to make them feel included and not like every other customer, so bonus points for that. My second design still had some minimal pixelation on the computer, but when it was printed it looked better than I could've hoped for. I even got it back on the 24th. The only thing I didn't understand was when Lauren told me it "would fade like cottage cheese," still don't understand but that's okay. The shirt still has not been worn or washed so I can't explain how it'll fade over time, however I will definitely be a repeat customer. Tips: Bring in your design on a flash drive so you can both look at it on screen and talk about it Bring in what you want the design printed on so you can have a better visual of where you want it and how it'll come out If you haven't already made a design, measure out the dimensions on what you want it to be printed on - I measured an existing design on a T-shirt my brother wears so when I made m design, I could make it the same size so it wouldn't look weird Good luck! This review is strictly about customer service (complete lack thereof) and accountability (none). I never did get anything printed even though, as you will see , every effort was made to do so. I wanted to have some gift Tee's printed as a thank you for friends. Using Yelp I found Tee's On Demand which was close to me and had good reviews. I called to find out what the process was so that there would be no surprises and also to make sure I did my part to get them what they needed. Lauren answered the phone and was incredibly pleasant and helpful. She told me that If I sent her an email with the basic information she would in turn send me back a file to approve for printing. After approval the printing would be same day. Pretty easy. I sent an email within 15 minutes that included a Word Doc with the text and a JPG image of a similar shirt design for reference. In the body of the email I was specific about the color of the shirt, the color of the letters, the font and the shirt sizes. There was nothing left to chance. Although Lauren had said she would get right back to me because it was such a simple design I did not hear from her that day. I did not hear from her the next day either. So I called to make sure my email got there. Lauren answered the phone again and said she was sorry for not getting back to me. She assured me that she did get the email and that she would send me the file for approval right away. I thanked her and hung up. No problem, people get busy.. Nothing. Next afternoon (this is now day three) still no email so I called again. Lauren answered again, and once again apologized for the delay but assured me I'd have it right away. Nothing. Day four. The day before I need the shirts for the gifts. Which she knew because it was in my email and my conversations with her. I decide to just go on over and do it in person. She seemed so nice on the phone I thought we could get it done real quick and the shirts would be finished that afternoon. Seriously not that big of a deal. Guess who is sitting at a desk piled high with orders and has no organization method that you'd be able to identify. Yup....Lauren. Sweet as can be. I introduce myself. She apologizes. I say no problem. She says she will send me an email. I say let's do it now and save some time. She confesses to not having even looked at it yet. I let her know it's no problem but we can do it quickly together. She says fine and proceeds to take about 3 minutes mocking up a very simple layout of what I needed. We're good right? Nope. She has not read the email I sent. She did did not know that I had asked for a black shirt with white type. She told me I'd have to wait a week for that because it needed to be silk screened and not laser printed. No problem, I don't have to have a silk screen, laser is fine. I explained that I needed them for the next day and that I'd be willing to pick another color if it made things faster. **At that moment a woman came in who must be a regular because they seemed to know each other. She asked for her thumb drive back and Lauren told her that she did not know where it was because she had a box of them. I just thought "good thing I didn't bring one". Was a mental note for the future. The woman left and said she would get it later. Back to choosing a new color Tee. Lauren gave me a swatch set and I chose a Grey Tee and she told me that it would be done tomorrow. Grrrr....Losing patience fast now. I had just spent four days letting her know the reason for the shirts, the due date and checking in with her daily. I asked if I could get them in the morning to make sure I had them in time she said no because "I have a lot of other orders". I've done everything I could do to help her help me. For her part I am sure she is losing patience with me as well. I can't figure out why, given the circumstances and her mistake, she can't be creative and come up with a solution. Such a simple thing to accomplish and a flexible client....customer service 101. I would have paid more to expedite, I would have driven to American Apparel four blocks away to get the blanks, I would have done a lot of things but unless I wanted a White Tee with Black Text I was SOL. In frustration I said that I could have gone downtown to Deluxe Screen Printing 4 days ago and just had it done if I knew it was going to be this difficult. Her response? She sits down, goes back to work on her giant messy pile of orders and without looking at me says "Well, I have work to do so you can always go downtown or just get back to me". As I walked out the door I promised her that I would write a review. Unlike her I deliver. Here it is. Do they print good Tees? Probably. I don't know. Can you rely on them to communicate and execute as promised? Not in my experience. Not even close. Try them if you have time. I doubt that I will which sucks because I could have used them for a lot of printing. Confidence lost. read more

Tees on Demand is EVERYTHING a business should be... Responsive - They answer phone calls, emails and even text message me on a time sensitive order. They also do their very best to help meet tight timelines, including a same-day order without of the crazy hassle (or crazy pricing) that most businesses give you when you put in an order with short notice. Personable - Lauren is super friendly! Like friendlier than many of my friends friendly! High quality - I've printed two rounds of shirts with Tees on Demand and I love them both. Lauren even went the extra mile to help alter our source images so they'd look good on the product and mail me an extra t-shirt when I was one short. Cost effective - Most t-shirt places will make you order some pretty serious volumes of t-shirts, but you can walk into Tees On Demand with just a couple of your own shirts and get them printed for a very low per-shirt price. I'm not sure whether to be unconsolably sad that we don't have Tees on Demand in San Francisco, or very grateful because I'd definitely be broke splurging on custom t-shirts for every occasion. read more

Tl;dr They told me they'd have my t-shirt done in plenty of time for my special occasion but they dropped the ball and I had to come up with something else in the 11th hour. I chose to work with TeesOnDemand because of the great reviews on Yelp. I needed a special custom Tshirt for Father's Day and didn't have much turnaround time. 4 days or so. Initially, I was pleased with the prompt response my email received and the back and forth email exchanges with the staff. I was assured the shirt would be done early so i got to work on my other plans for the day confident that this, one of the centerpieces of the day, was taken care of. Then, the emails stopped. A day passed with no indication of when I should pick up. They don't appear to answer the phone so I figured I'd just stop by on Saturday during the business hours posted on the website to pick it up. Being the mother of a newborn, and trying to surprise my husband, I had a limited window of time to be away from the house, so you can imagine my horror as I pull up to the business and it looks deserted and like they were no longer in business- (boxes and dusty tshirt making materials strewn about the store/front office). I saw a light on down a hallway and spied a furtive movement while knocking on the locked door and getting no response. So I drove around the back and saw an employee working on an order. He knew nothing about my order and kindly offered to contact the owners. The gentleman I spoke with didn't know about the shirt and said he couldn't do anything but have it for me by Monday. I told him that wouldn't help as Father's Day was Sunday. Soooo- I left the shop, drove to a craft store and bought supplies and then a tshirt. I returned home defeated to a screaming hungry baby, since I was so late AND I had to sneak out of bed at midnight to make a crappy homemade version of the shirt I'd envisioned.
