I went to get the back glass of an iPhone 13 replaced. I have very good things to say about them. 1. The man who helped me (sadly didn't catch his name) was very nice and extremely helpful. He was the tech who worked on the phone. His work was clean and he was very hospitable! 2. The time was very on par with the estimate. We dropped it off and went to complete some errands and by the time we finished and went to pick it up it was ready. 3. The price and value is extremely worth it. For the glass replacement, labor and all it only costed $149. I was quoted $200-$250 at many other stores. They are just great and nice people! They have so many services they offer! I brought my iPhone to Tekdep to get my front and rear screen replaced because they were cracked. They replaced the screens in a reasonable amount of time. However, within a week, my screen became extremely touch sensitive and colors would glitch like crazy. When I brought it back in to Tekdep, they told me it was because I dropped it which was not true. I ended up taking it to another local iPhone repair shop and when they went to investigate the problem, they found shards from the back that weren't properly cleaned out when I got my screen replaced and also noticed that one of the shards had punctured the battery. I originally went to Tekdep because of the great reviews on Yelp but ended up having to pay more than if I got it fixed properly at the Apple Store. read more

I had the opportunity to encounter TEKDEP about five months ago when I was looking to buy a 16 inch MacBook Pro I-9, from their ad, I saw on craigslist Pasadena for computers. The initial item that got me in the door was the fact that I can see and touch it before buying it, and possibly look at other MacBook Pros as well, as opposed to working with one person meeting at a neutral location, sometimes they show and sometimes they don't, wasting a whole day. The second thing that got me in the door was that they were actually open the day or two after the terrible fires in Pasadena and the La Canada area. I found the 16 inch that I was looking for. It was an outstanding condition almost like new, And the fact that it came with their warranty was another positive point. But what really they sold that was when I was on the phone with the owner or manager of that location, I was able to use my affirm accounts to pay it off in one year with fixed payments. I wanted to trade in my iPhone for the highest price so I decided to replace my scratched screen. I requested a quote and Sam responded to me right away. Although Tekdep wasn't the cheapest quote I received, it was still reasonable. Sam also offered me a little bit of a discount if I came in that day which made it closer to the cheapest quote. I ultimately went with this shop because at least one employee was a licensed electrician and I felt that the likelihood of any issues would be low. Also the photos showed a clean and organized shop, and I found this to be true when I visited. Sam was quick and efficient and was done in 30 minutes.
