Recently moved to the area and found this business on google with a decent rating. Have used their dry cleaning services 4-5 times (bi-weekly drop offs) and was always greeted graciously and treated well each visit. Also thought that pricing was very good and that this would be my go-to dry cleaner moving forward. Only issue I had with their dry cleaning service was on one garment, where white-watery chemical splotches were found all over a military uniform that my husband wasn't very happy he had to wipe off. Again, it was one incident and the owners had been very pleasant with me thus far, so not a big deal at the time. Two weeks ago, I dropped off 2 curtain panels that I purchased for $20 to be hemmed. They were simple window sheers (no backing) 100 inch wide x 86 long and I was looking to have them shortened to 55 inch long. A simple straight hem job where the panel had to be cut, bottom flipped up and a straight hem sewn. Other tailors in the nearby area have quoted me $30-$40 per panel for the same job. When dropping off the panels, I did not ask the cost of the alternation, thinking that all of the work they have done for me had been reasonably priced, so this job would be too. Went to pick up the curtains and when I went to check out, the owner said $15 and charged my card and did not give me a credit card receipt. Later that evening when hanging my curtains, I found a receipt taped to the curtains that stated it was $105 with a $15 military discount. I was dumbfounded and double checked my credit card statement and realized that $105 had been charged to my card. Today I went in to the store to speak with the owner, thinking that the charge had to be a mistake. The owner stated it was not a mistake and that she had even given me a $15 military discount on the job. I told her that it was my fault for not asking what the cost would be, but that $115 for two simple hems seemed way over priced and that I felt that I was being take advantage of. She tried to explain to me that her alternations are based on the width of the material and I asked her how long it took her to hem the curtains. She stated 2 to 2.5 hrs to do a straight hem. I asked her if her work was really worth around $50 per hour, which still did not make sense to me for a simple alteration on 2 basic curtain panels. I could have had custom made curtains made for $115. After discussing for 10 minutes, with me explaining that I dropped off business to her bi-weekly ($40 per month on average being spent there) could she work with me on the price, but she declined. After another round of discussing the price, she agreed to give me $20 cash back, which would have meant I was paying $85 total for the hem job. I told her that I still felt that I was being taken advantage of and was looking for $40 back. The owner declined and stated that $40 was too much. As a gesture of good faith on both our parts, I asked her to meet me in the middle with $30 back and I would continue to give her my business. Again she declined and offered me $20 back, which I declined and stated I would no longer be bringing my business there and would be writing an online review. After reading further reviews about the business on Yelp, I realize now my experience was not uncommon there. Would not recommend this business. read more

These folks are WIZARDS. My husband's dress whites were a MESS. Someone at a wedding had spilled some crazy sauce all over him. It was all over his jacket, both pant legs, everywhere. My husband procrastinated over a year to have them cleaned, assuming it would be crazy expensive or impossible. I brought them here, thinking they couldn't be salvaged, as a last ditch effort to avoid having to buy new dress whites. Telegraph Cleaners returned them like new, sparkling white for $16!!! Location and parking A plus! My family switched to this cleaner because it was not as expensive as other cleaners in the area. The lady in the front desk is very pleasant and meticulous. I am new to the area and asked the nice lady how much to dry cleans shirt she stated $1.80 I was like okay then she back tracked and stated if I have more than three shirts it is three dollars per shirt. I went here to get my prom dress hemmed and it was one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a business. The first issue was that she fat shamed me. I went a week before prom and I asked her if she could widen the waist a little bit with some of the extra fabric that she had from hemming the dress. She responded by telling me it would be easier if I just went on a diet and lost some weight. Anyone with a half a brain knows that you barely lose weight within a week. Adding on, it was completely inappropriate to comment that especially if I was going to pay her for her work. The second issue is that she charged me more than what she told me. I was told that the price would be $60 for the hem and the waist. I went down to grab my dress and payed without being given a receipt. Afterwards, I found out that she charged me $20 more than what I was told. I went down to talk to her about it and she kept denying that she told me $60. When I asked for a receipt, she said that she didn't have it. Her husband even found it and she took it from him and crinkled it up. Do not ever go here to get things done because you will be scammed. I even read through a few reviews before posting this and I am not the only one who has been scammed by this business. read more

I have used this cleaner on multiple occasions trying to give them the benefit of the doubt, but I've had enough. Almost all of my visits, they have not cleaned the all items for my order on time. I've had to go back and pick up an item the next day or so. This time I prepaid for my items and after I came back to pick up the items that weren't ready the first time, I had another charge. They said they "miscounted" the items when they rung up my order at drop off. Mind you, they did not clean 2 out of 5 items on time and I had to go back twice to pick the items up. I told them why I was upset and they insisted I still owed them money. They miscounted on my drop off and they were 3 days late and I had to go back there several times because they couldn't finish my 5 items by the date they told me the clothes would be ready by. I've tried to use this business too many times. They don't care about their customers and are slow. They are not even cheap! I told them I have no intentions of returning and they did not bat an eye. read more

My husband had a leather coat with sleeves that needed to be shortened slightly. We had not yet used this cleaners. The seamstress, Sharon, offered us a good price and the end result was great.
