yes, i did watch late night blow-out advertising in asian TV network, and I called number of times for special LCD TV for super low price. Sure enough, it is never available. I don't quite understand how all the items that I wanted (yah, it did sound too cheap to be true)was all sold out in few days everytime that i called. But I do not get too discouraged since I don't expect too much out of these teaser ad anyway. One day, my wife wanted to go over there to look at few items like double door refriger, and washers, so I visit there show room for the first time. not a huge showroom, but ample parking was easy. However, all the items were so~ much expensive than the image that i get from the newspaper ad. I cannot even see any items that I saw in ads. spent few minutes in 20K massage chair and left. Bottom line, shop at Fries, internet, or elsewhere, and save money. read more

BE AWARE !! I purchased a massage chair with a promotional 24mons no interest thru their finance affiliate, Sony Financial Services Synchrony. They advised me to set up payment to be paid off in 24mons to incur no interest. I went ahead and set up auto payment but bank would take out different amounts every month which resulted in a remaining balance after 24mons. The bank has now applied a 30% interest for 2yrs on my initial loan amount. Ultimately I end up paying for their misguided information. Check your balance. Don't assume. The sales man and the bank are not looking out for you. I just want to let as many people who has purchased using this type of credit service to be aware. Teletrons service depends on who you are. My parents went back to let them know the massage chair came with a foot accessory but both for the left foot. HOUSEWARES! My favorite! Teletron recently opened up here in Koreatown in June. Finally stopped in to see what they have to offer. While it isn't the largest selection of goodies around, it sure is fun. Teletron caters to the Korean community, and it is evident in the number of rice cookers (Cuckoo, Zojirushi, Tiger) and water boilers/warmers (Cuckoo, Tiger) and sealed food-keepers (for kimchi as an example) that the store offers. When you enter, the store is effectively divided into two parts: on the left are the big ticket items, like T.V.s, refrigerators and washing machines (primarily Samsung and LG). On the right hand side are the aforementioned rice cookers, water boilers, food keepers and pots and pans. There are also vacuum cleaners and a few other odds and ends. Pretty much everything is Korean made with a few exceptions (Zojirushi rice cookers for example). Prices are pretty good. 1.5 liter water boilers go for an average of $22.00 which is fairly cheap. Large boilers (4-5 liter) run around $120, and offer a couple additional features aside from boiling water. Pots/pans are non-stick. They come in bright colors (reds and blues usually), and for the larger 30" size are priced well at around $30.00, with smaller sizes for around $18.00. The staff is friendly, greeting you at the door. Once inside, don't expect to be pestered by anyone. It is pretty much self-help unless you are looking at the large appliances. Judging from the layout and what they offer, I have a feeling stock changes frequently here. I wouldn't be surprised to see changes in what they offer brand/model wise the next time I walk in - which I will happily be doing shortly. read more

There is a really good selection of products from mattresses, massage chairs, coffee tables, dining tables, washers & dryers, refrigerators, and also small appliances. Tomorrow is mother's day so I went here to look for a gift for my mother and when I walk in the saleman was super nice and welcoming. They showed me alot of cool stuff. They suggested me to get her a new massage chair or a new Japanese rice cooker and they also had a Lamborghini mattress. So the saleman showed me the massage chair and I loved it. They had a good promotion for mother's day so I purchased the massage chair. It's call the inada dreamwave. I went online and looked it up it's the top of the line massage chair in the market made in Japan. I also picked up a rice cooker for her. The one they have is the very useful. It can cook sushi rice and porridge and oatmeal. I would suggest this place to all mean friends and family read more

I'm only giving one, b/c I couldn't give any lower. First of all, this TELETRON store on Vermont near K-town is same one as the one you see at the Gardena store. This company does a lot of advertising on Korea, China, and other Asian media outlet, offering incredible prices on many appliances and electronics. For example, recently they ran an ad on TV about $188 for 42' LCD TV, and $488 for Samsung refrigerator which was going for at least $1000 - $1500 at other places. Too good to be true? Yes it was. What this business does is that they advertise this incredible offer, but when you actually get to the store, the same item on ad is their display model and they only carry one of those. When confronted about POSSIBLE DECEPTIVE ADVERSITING, their explanation was that they disclosed in fine prints on their 0.1 second split TV ad, and so they were not liable for OUR misunderstanding. When they do these incredible TV ads, you see lines of people stand outside wanting to get some bargain at the store. SAVE YOUR TRIP. DON'T GO THERE, b/c they only carry one item on that price and it's their display model also. After spending 2 hours waiting outside to get into the store, you don't want to hear that it was OUR misunderstanding about their business practice. Vote with your pocket book. Shop at Fry's or BB or onine like the other reviewer said. NEVER NEVER NEVER go TELETRON, no matter how good their DECEPTIVE TV advertising sound. read more

I got a tv and it broke after 6 months. I went back to see if they could help me out but all they did was gave me attitude and say they could do nothing for me. I went back another time for a tv on sale and they said they didn't know what i was talking about. The add on their web site said LG tv $149 but that was from last 2 months back they said. Business practice is not professional. I purchased a refrigerator, a Dimchae for Kimchi and a dish washer on 11/24/2012. I also purchased an extended warranty for refrigerator. However NSI Protecton Plus, an insurance company, has not received any documenttion as of 01/14/2013. First time I called they say it would take about 4 weeks for process. I don't think it is right priactice of business as the money was taken out of my account on the day of purchase. ANY FUTURE CUSTOMER OF TELETRON SHOULD BE ON ALERT ON THIS ISSUE WHEN YOU PURCHASE ANY EXPENDED WARRANTY. And check if if is duly processed as it should be. read more

Brand new refrigerator had a problem in second day of purchase. To make a long story short, the repair man had to visit three times to fix the problems and changed the parts. Meanwhile, it's been two weeks without refrigerator. Yet, I am still not certain if it is fixed. Called the store, and requested either exchange or refund the money, which they refused. HELLO! This is brand new refrigerator I bought from you. Honestly, I can't believe this kind of place is open for business. I spent my own money to hire a moving company to return the merchandise, teletron refused to accept it, so had to bring it back. Consumers!! Please be aware! My parents bought a 42 inch LG LED TV here. I was shocked to hear that no one at the store helped her carry the TV to her car. She had to lug it herself with a shopping cart. Unbelievable lack of courtesy and professionalism. To add to the disappointment, the LED panel had an internal damage. No crack or damage outside. Just poorly made and sold TV. My experience with these people was one for the books. I paid nearly $4,000 for a mattress and bed frame because the sales associate insisted on it and told me there was one left and if I didn't purchase it, I would be missing out. In my naivety, I agreed to purchase it and decided to give my husbands and my bed to one of our employees. Approaching the date of my new arrivals, I called the store multiple times to make sure everything would arrive on time. However, the morning of the arrival of my purchases, they called me and said they had sold my bed to someone else and my bed would arrive in about 3 weeks. The more ridiculous part was that they wouldn't return my money when I wanted to cancel my order. They had already taken the money out of my account weeks before and refused to return it. Teletron is still refusing to return our money. I cannot believe that a business like this is still around. They have no respect for their customers. My concern is that other people will become victim to their awful business tactics and will not be able to do anything about it. read more

Last year I purchased a set of Samsung washer and dryer from a large wholesale price retailer off the internet for 1,400 total including tax and delivery. I was so happy because that was 500 less than Sears outlet, and 700 less than Lowes. 6 month later, my brother was need a new washer & dryer and he liked mine so I told him where he can buy it but before he was going to buy it, his wife was in LA and stopped by Teletron and it was during their sale, and they bought the exact same washer/dryer as mine for 399 each. How can this be? I was happy for them but upset at myself for applying all that effort to find the lowest price only to find out this place sold the same thing for almost half the price of my best deal. I guess I should of watched the commericals, which Ive never seen. But, anyways they do have unbelivable prices sometimes. I dont know about the service because Ive never been there but I know for a fact that my brother paid 600 less than me. read more

Worst furniture store ever. We bought a tempurpedic bed set including mattress, comforter, zip cover, and foundation with the sales associate assuring that we would still receive full tempurpedic services and benefits including warranty. We got our set and the zip cover had a noticeable tear in it. We tried to return it but they insisted on their no return policy for certain bed items that they somehow forgot to mention to us before our purchase and lo and behold, when we contacted tempurpedic services for an exchange or return, they said they couldn't do anything to help us since teletron retail store wasn't directly connected to tepmurpedic and therefore tempurpedic could not do anything about our torn zip cover. We called teletron again and again for an exchange but they turned us down every time. They were incredibly rude and deceitful. I hope this place goes out of business soon. DON'T EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS RETAIL. read more
