    Rosewood Danish 'armoire'
    Susana B.

After driving to several LA vintage shops and finding a lot of particle wood w/ walnut veneer :/ I was holding a lot of hope for Saasaan's shop. FYI he is in the process of moving his shop closer to RowDTLA. I blindly drove to his old location only to realize that yelp said it was closed. ‍ I called on a hunch and he answered and was kind enough to let me come to his new spot. I'd spotted a few items online that he quickly pulled out for me to see. Honestly it was hard to leave his store w/out buying everything and I am so excited for this beautiful rosewood 'armoire' that is perfect for my need. I also bought a gorgeous curved mirror and small drawer set that he is still working on. I will upload those pics once I pick it up and have it set up. LOVE, love his relaxed demeanor, his commitment to you loving the piece, and his approachability. I've been to many places where you're made to feel like you are lucky they are giving you the time of day and many others where they don't even address you. Saasaan doesn't have any pretentiousness and only a commitment to beautiful functional art pieces - Danish mid century furniture. I'm so please to have found my new dealer! Thank you Saasaan, see you soon!

Saasaan has the best prices I've come across in Los Angeles for authentic Danish modern furniture. I've bought several pieces from his shop and plan to buy more!

Saasaan's service and furniture are amazing....the mid-century cabinet/desk that he brought back is so perfect for my space! And he's really nice to work with.

Gorgeous selection and he had a ton of knowledge about the designers and everything was legitimate.

Trove is a wonderful resale and consignment store. They have a huge selection of gently used items…read more You can get designer or name brand clothing, all sorts of accessories, purses, shoes, things for your home and they even have a baby section. Their prices are quite reasonable. Many items are up to 80% off what you would pay for great clothes and bags. They also have some nice art now and again it is all fairly priced. This is not a Salvation Army type store, yes, all items are used, but all are designer or something you may have seen in a store. They do not have a huge vintage section and that is fine. It has just really nice things that I would end up paying a lot more for new. The service is great. The staff is nice and knows what is in the store and where. If you are looking for a nice bag, they have it or some nice clothes. I have bought a few things there and I have never been disappointed.

They took my phone number and said they would call when they found the match. I gave them my number and about a week later, they called and had found the match. I returned and bought it. Yesterday, we went there and bought a few things. Super cute stuff and fun to shop. My daughter found new Stan Smith Adidas. They couldn't sell them because they lost the key to unlock the block thing that the alarm goes off if cut. Again, I gave my number and today, they called and found the key. Went back and got the adidas.

Raggedy Threads is my favorite vintage store in L.A. - no contest. Don't let this tiny little store…read more- located in a tiny little corner of Little Tokyo - fool you: It's like a treasure trove of rare finds. I've been on a huge vintage kick lately, so this store has been my go-to source for old tees. My reasons for going vintage are primarily environmental since the carbon footprint and resources needed to make new clothes are substantial - and incredibly wasteful when there's so much awesome used clothing out there. Another reason: Your friends can't copy your style. Most recently, I picked up a few tees from the 1970s and 80s. Being in L.A. they get a lot of local and California vintage shirts with logos, designs, and jokes that only true Californians would get. I couldn't resist buying a Castroville "Giant Artichoke" tee they had over the summer. Personally, I tend to gravitate towards regional finds like these because they bring back such great memories of my youth and of family road trips up and down my home state. They also carry old college (Go Bears!), high school, and everyone's favorite - summer camp tees. Plus, you cannot beat the vintage fit from the 70s/80s. Caveat: Today's "S" is equivalent to an "M" or bigger because people were presumably thinner back then. So do your part for the environment and look effortlessly stylish doing it by shopping used and vintage! And there's no better place in L.A. for this than Raggedy Threads.
