We were shocked how rude the representative at Miele Beverley Hills Experience Center was. We are building a new house ground up in Santa Monica. We were interested in ordering many of Miele's appliances and I did a lot of research checking their website, downloading their manuals and watching their videos. I called 3 days in a row during their business hour but no one answered their phone, so I left a message. A woman from Miele called me back while I was driving. She had condescending attitude as soon as I answered the phone. I had 3 people in my car and all could not believe how she was talking to me. They actually started laughing with disbelieve how she could talk to a future customer like that. Very unprofessional. They lost my business. We have a Miele vacuum I ordered a new hose and found it was the wrong hose and called Miele. They told me to buy a new hose and they would return my money from the first purchase and that I didn't need to return the part as it was under $50. Several phone calls and emails later.... They kept delaying the return and telling me it was escalated and I should see it in yet another 14 days - now it is beyond the dispute time limit BEWARE - they are not acting on your behalf as I can't believe they are this inept. read more

Ordered a full kitchen appliance package from Miele. Several months after install, the Miele logo on the cooktop began peeling off. Contacted Miele and they said because over a year had passed since purchase, it was out of warranty and they would not send someone to fix this. Warranty or not, it's quite surprising and disappointing (to say the least) that Miele is not standing by its product. We spent tens of thousands of dollars on Miele appliances just for one house. We've never seen something like this even on much lower end brands. And when there have been issues, other companies have been much more honorable in standing by their product. My HR 1935-3 G range has been broken for 6 months with no help from Miele. I have been waiting since February- 6 months for a part for my 36 inch range to arrive. My HR 1935-3 G range is $15,000 boat anchor sitting in my kitchen. The hours wasted spent on hold attempting to speak to anyone who can help have been infuriating. 6 months for a part is inexcusable when there are new functional identical HR 1935-3 G ranges in the showroom that clearly shipped with the correct parts. It is stunning that Miele would let a customer who bought an entire kitchen suite of appliances languish. If you are here for horrific customer service you will love Miele. IT'S TRUE Miele's Customer Service is horrific! Especially Patricia Bradley, supposedly territory manager. She is and always was from the beginning rude and condescending. Nevertheless, we bought all our kitchen appliances from them because it's known to be a quality company. She confirmed our order specifically the trim kit for the built in coffee maker. It's the wrong one! She refuses to take responsibility even though we have emails showing she confirmed the order including the trim kit as being correct. If we want to use our coffee maker we have to buy a new trim kit. Honestly, compared to the whole order it's a small portion, but I have a problem with not taking responsibility and even acknowledging that you did something wrong. Worst company ever!!! My husband and I have constantly been calling trying to get our refrigerator fixed for two months!! No one can seem to ever help us. They keep saying that they see the notes in the system and we will get a call once they have the correct repair person available and we never hear back from them. I've called them twice just today, the first call I gave up after 35 minutes waiting and listening to automatic recording saying "Sorry for the delay". Second call is at 28 min and counting. I'm so surprised reading the comments posted here on other Yelp reviews since my experience with my new Miele compact stackable washer/dryer has been very different. My 10 year+ Bosch washer /dryer died in January and due to the pandemic and assembly lines operating at only 25% capacity due to the spread of Covid whether they're manufacturing appliances made in Germany, a meat packing plant in North Dakota or electronics coming from South Korea and dock workers also at 25% capacity offloading the ships in the ports of LA and Long Beach, so many items are difficult to come by these days. After having taken my laundry to friends' homes for the past two months, and the Bosch repairman advising the new parts were nearly $1000 with no guarantee how long they would last, I decided to buy new appliances instead. I found Snyder Diamond had a Miele compact/stackable unit in stock that could be delivered in less than a week! It had rave reviews in the "Best 2021 compact stackable washer/dryers" and I was sold when I read these Miele appliances can last 20 YEARS!! Since I've never owned household appliances that were driven by smart technology, I was lost when the installer handed me the manual and gave me a 10 minute explanation. I contacted my salesman for help and he gave me MICHAL SILVERSTEIN's name, (MICHY for short) who is the MANAGER at the MIELE EXPERIENCE CENTER and I made an appointment with her. SHE IS PHENOMENAL in her thorough explanations in very clear terms on how to operate the machines. MICHY provides insight into how to get the best washing performance by using which cycle for which items like delicates vs denims vs bed linens. She truly believes in her products and I'm finding them to be well made and the smart technology is proving to be intuitive; a lot like Apple products. read more

First time in the store and all I needed was some soap for Miele dish washer I have. A woman came out to greet me and I must say was very inviting and knew exactly what I needed. She asked if I needed instructions on how to use and tips to get in in basket easier. I felt as if I was a guest in their home as she offered me something to drink as well. BEFORE YOU BUY BEWARE! Let me start by saying I have many of the appliances from Miele purchased at this store location several years ago. We were so impressed with the store, with the cooking class, cooking products the refrigerator, small washer and dryer and so we decided to go ahead and equip our entire house. BIG MISTAKE!!!! Unfortunately, we have had nothing but issues with these appliances. They are constantly breaking down, while you have the service warranty that may be ok, but no one wants to wait around for techs while having inoperable appliances. Some issues: Washer and dryer breaks down often and does not dry your dishes. It constantly needs their products to keep maintaining it. In the past few years I have had 10-15 tech visits just for this appliance alone! Do not bother purchasing a Teppan-Yaki it simply does not work and cleaning it, is a disaster. The Refrigerator though it looks impressive with the lights and everything has broken down several times ruining all groceries inside and it's not deep enough. Washer and dryer have broken down many times. We once had to change the entire motherboard just because the door would not unlock. Thankfully I had homeowners insurance. Otherwise, The cost was almost the same as a new washer and dryer. I Will say that their techs through phone support were really good and useful. However, as another appliance just broke down I called to ask what the error code means and was told that the phone support section of their company has closed down 3 months ago! WHAT A SHAME! That means every time something small breaks down, you now have to call the tech to come out. In hindsight I would NEVER have purchased appliances from this company. It has been nothing but a headache and now it's going to be very costly to just maintain them. VERY DISAPPOINTED. read more

The top-of-the-line washer and dryer work pretty well but the customer service is phenomenally appalling. Beware that if you buy the top-of-the-line washer and dryer, you're gonna have to learn how to do everything yourself because you'll get no help from this company. They just put you on hold all the time tell you to read the manual and the manual is in many ways in-comprehensible. These machines are terrifically complex and when you experience a problem no one is there to help you. Are a lot of maintenance steps one must take to keep these machines in good working order and it is very difficult to find out how to do them in the manual skips steps and is not clear. I recently purchased the gas stove/oven and dishwasher. I went to the store to learn about the ove timer. Thank you, Rachel (from WA) for your amazing smile, coffee and supreme service. I ended up with a perfect small vacuum for hardwood floors, too. Got another rack on wheels for the oven, cooking and cleaning accessories. I will be back. I look forward to attending some of their events. This oven is the best! Baked all day yesterday. I love that the top of the stove stays cool. The dishwasher is amazing. This review is about the design center experience. Other reviews used this as a forum to complain about appliance repair or reliability issues. The design center has no control over any of that. Hence I don't think it's applicable. I'm a builder and I came into the experience center to get some assistance on placement of a large combination of appliances selected for my project. The staff is wonderful. Michy, Michael and Monique. They spent 2 hours with me, trying a myriad of combinations until they reached an optimal solution. Also, they demonstrated the steam oven, with amazing results. I really appreciate the insightful and informative counsel they provided. I could not be happier. Sheeba was MOST helpful. We visited the Beverly Hills showroom on multiple occasions. As we looked at each appliance for our new home, she took note of what we wanted & the specifics in regard to how these would look on our wall. She helped us match the appropriate widths of the various appliances so that they would all be in alignment on our wall. She mentioned options when we ran into obstacles &, therefore, we were fully equipped to make well-informed decisions! She followed up with us via email with the entire list for our new-build, including the model #'s, to make ordering simple. Her detailed list then allowed me to make corrections with our local appliance dealer when typos or an incorrect model # was listed. We had multiple emails back & forth, with Sheeba conducting research on her end to answer all of our questions. I know we will keep in contact with her after our appliances are installed & I am fully confident she will be just as responsive then as she has been with us over the past few months. read more

Unfortunately, I am not down for spending over $700 just to have a model similar to the Sears Kenmore stalwart that has served us very well through three kids, dogs, cats, parties, & nearly a year of covid (with everybody home 24/7). So customer service gets NO stars for phone service but a 5 for the bright, courteous professional I just thanked on my way out the door. read more

What a treat to have Bryan walk us through all the options and help us choose what is best for us. He knows the products inside out, could not have been more informative or kind. Miele is lucky to have the top of the line representing their top of the line products. Bryan goes above and beyond. This is a showroom so it is not a place to purchase; Bryan supplies a list of approved vendors should one need it. What an amazing feeling to know that his enthusiasm is genuine and not based on a sale. That being said, we ordered already all of the appliances needed and would run back to this Miele showroom to meet with Bryan if any other appliances are ever needed. Visited MieieHaus in 2003 2005, and 2007 and as a result of hours of research and on site demos at the MileHaus - I own a houseful of this brand The MielHaus gets nicked down from a 5 for only really dealing with me on a sales level as walk in. Once face to face, I found their people to be superb. The area the mielhaus is located in is super trendy so yeah parkings a pain. I have- Vacum-2013 (on my second one in 10 years) Washer dryer- 04 Dishwasher-03 Ovens (2)-03 On all the above I have needed 2 repairs in 12 years both done within a few days of my call to a 3rd party repair. This is not a perfect record, but damm solid. So is the product. Im also convinced their efficiency contributes to my tier 1 water consumption status in a house of 4 with a pool that entertains a lot. My consumption of water and associated soaps is minimal in compared to my old school appliances. Lots of dis-satisfaction with installers here. Rating a product because of the installer isn't any good isn't helpful when assessing the brand. My installs all went smoothly - pretty much a regular appliance install from what Ive experienced. The products themselves have all been superb except for one of the 2 vacuums was a little needy on repair. Miele- is it worth the money - in my opinion . Yes. I am a huge Miele fan. After purchasing a dishwasher 21 years ago that is still going strong, we visited the Beverly Hills location in May 2020 to look at the washers and dryers. I met with Bryan and Sheeba who are as professional and knowledgeable as it gets. They are "A plus" consultants with a customer service team that can back them up. I ended up purchasing the two units, and my family's clothes never have looked better. I recently went back to look at the refrigerator/freezers and ranges and have had many follow up emails with Sheeba who has been so gracious with her time and attention to the details I needed for my project. I couldn't agree more with Lily S and Sarah P -- these appliances are total garbage. We installed Miele throughout our brand new home and I regret every bit of it. In fact, at this very moment, the Miele technician is packing up his tools and leaving yet again without resolving the mysterious issue with our cooktop. I guess my wife and I will have to rearrange our lives for the 3rd time and wait for them to show up -- IF they show up -- and attempt to fix it. In our first year, our combination steam oven broke down 4 times in the first month before they finally replaced it. This time, we've had to get through 2 weeks of the Christmas holidays with no functioning cooktop. We had to cancel all of the holiday plans at our house...twice. We've been cooking on a camping stove for weeks -- at least it works! Save yourself the headaches (and the money) and go with Wolf or Viking. read more

I've had several vacuum cleaners over the years, but none has lasted longer than 8 years. When my nearly 15 year old Miele canister vacuum electric brush head stopped working, I was willing to spring for a new one. I suspected the electric hose was broken because the connection was loose. I searched the Miele web site as well as other sites that claim to have OEM parts for a new electric hose to no avail. I also considering buying a new Miele canister vacuum, but none of the models I was interested in would've been available for months. I called the Miele experience center and was lucky to get Michy who found a hose we could try to see if it would fit. It did not, but she persisted and found that the problem was not the hose but the motor on the brush head! I am so thankful Michy helped diagnose the problem for me! I don't think I could have survived months without my Miele vacuum cleaner! read more

I have purchased from this store for years. Michey, Evelyn, Rachel and Mike are very knowledgeable and have always been polite, friendly and very helpful. The appliances I purchased always worked exceptionally well and were properly repaired when they needed service. I saw one review in which someone castigates Mike: I find Ariane's review difficult to believe. I have seen Mike in the store many times and he has always been polite and enthusiastic. Ariane's estimate of $ 10K for all the appliances which she mentioned is unrealistic. The appliances are high end and a lot more expensive. Perhaps Ariane is the one with the attitude. I have owned several Miele ovens and find Sarah P's review in which she states that an oven door "exploded" implausible. It is more likely that someone broke the glass from the outside, perhaps with a vacuum cleaner or something similar. read more

The showroom and cooking demos are great. But I've had my Miele Convection Wall Oven for 8 years and I'm here to tell you Miele is so overrated and I've spent so much in the last 5 years fixing it! It breaks and their warranty sucks. Luckily I had purchased the 5 year warranty in the beginning. But seriously! In 2011, I had to replace all the burners (top/bottom). Months of diagnostics and being without a consistent oven. And just last Saturday the outer glass door spontaneously combusted while pre-heating. Luckily, no one was in front of it and got hurt! Why didn't the inner door break first? Strange. I called for a new one, it's going to be $550 + diagnostics and labor, in about 3 weeks. Glass isn't covered. I get it, it's old, but it's a SAFETY ISSUE. Hansgrohe and Hafele have lifetime warranties and it's mind boggling that Miele, appliances 3x more expensive than a faucet wouldn't have such coverage or service on their products. Go American or German. Even a GE would have less repairs than this Italian product. read more

Very annoyed that we drove here to buy a vacuum. Should have just bought it elsewhere for as much service and knowledge as they supplied. We were told that a certain vacuum head came with a certain vacuum. We got home to find out that it didn't come with this model. And they were very unresponsive and unhelpful when we phoned them. "oh...sorry". Nice staff, but useless at help or resolution of issues. Should have bought it on Amazon for as much service as we've received.
