From the beginning, the technician, Enrique, had a rude and condescending attitude. He raised his voice and made several disrespectful comments. I have been a customer since the early 1990s, and in all those years, I have never experienced anything like this. The technician made multiple remarks about my age and implied that people my age do not know how to operate internet or cable equipment. I am 69 years old, and these comments were insulting, ageist, and completely unprofessional. He repeatedly spoke to me in a way that made me feel uncomfortable and belittled in my own home. At one point, he compared routers to luxury cars, asking if I understood the difference between a Mercedes and a regular car, even though I was not asking for his opinion and had already decided I would be purchasing my own equipment. Because I felt so uncomfortable, I had to call my husband at work and ask that the service be stopped, in front of the technician. Only then did he lower his voice and apologize, stating that "that's just the way I talk" and that no one had ever complained about him before. No customer should be treated this way, especially in their own home. This experience was unacceptable, and I hope the company addresses this behavior so that no one else has to go through a similar situation.

As far as I can recall, I'm pretty certain it was taken to the office personally but they apparently never checked it in appropriately. For that I was charged $277 dollars for not returning their obsolete outdated equipment we used since 2012. Fast Forward 14 months later not a word from them until recently a collection agency has been relentless in calling to get their $277 dollars. I closed out the bill in April 2023 and it wasn't until this month 2024 that they decided to send me to a collection agency that is sure to ruin my great credit (800's). What a fantastic joke of a company to operate like this! Beware people! Companies like this aren't concerned with keeping a happy customer or even providing a good service. They just want your money and will destroy you with retaliatory fine print debt collections!!!

There's only 2 registers (customer service provider) open. They obviously take for ever maybe they are taking their sweet time . I don't blame the service givers I blame the cheap company for only having 2 people working ... I'm new to the valley ... Any suggestions about any other internet provider please ???

He is so patient and kind in his explanation (not all of us are tech savvy) he also went 100% above and beyond for us in helping to ensure our event had the connectivity we needed to be successful. I will recommend this company to all of our contacts! Chris, you are an awesome human being, and btw it was a pleasure meeting your son today as well. Thank you kind sir, for all of your hard work. May your business flourish!

I'm usually willing to give people a benefit of the doubt, but honestly, I should trust my gut more…read morewhen there are multiple red flags from the start. I reached out to Empire Satellites Inc after looking online for someone to install my new Starlink dish. Chris responded promptly via text from a different number (red flag number one). Quoted a price for the install - $349, which I thought was reasonable. Set up an appointment for the same day at 2:30pm. At 3:00 get a text that he we will be "couple of hours late" (red flag number two). OK, no problem. Finally shows up at 6:10pm. Started to look around the house to find a good location to mount the dish. Settle on a tall side gable (single story house), but his ladder is only 18', so he says that that's as high as he can mount it, not at the gable apex. Not ideal, but OK. Casually mentions that he charges an extra $100 for the "attic work" (major red flag number three). As if most people expect to have wires hanging on their exterior walls? I don't argue, but at this point I am really expecting to see stellar work quality, above and beyond attention to detail. This is where things really go to shit. Chris gets up to the facia and starts mounting the dish in a mount that I provided. I am looking from below and clearly can see that the mount is not plumb and is wobbling, as he puts three lugnut screws through the facia. He assures me that it is plenty stable. Red flag number four. Drills a hole through the wall for the cable and goes inside the house to fish for it in the attic. In the meantime, I get up the ladder and take a picture of the mount. It is clearly not fully bolted to the facia, with one of the bolts screwed at a 45 degree angle. The thing wobbles like crazy. Thirty minutes later, and two more holes in the ceiling plate from the attic, the cable is still not down to the final location, despite the fact that 5 extra ethernet cables were routed through the same wall from the attic by my electrician a few weeks before. Chris offers to surface mount the wire to the wall in the finished pantry room - ugliest, laziest install ever. Red flag number five. This is when I say "that's enough" and kick him out of my house. He is genuinely surprised when I offer to pay him only $250 for the horrendous job he did, and not the full $450 he was expecting. Before he leaves, he blames me for providing a bad mount for the dish, and tries to upsell his own mount for $100. Unbelievable. I have worked with dozens of subs int he last two years while building my house, and know my way around tools and trades. This was one of the worst experiences. The guy has the worst work ethic and zero integrity.

The phones go to 1x which doesn't allow you to use the internet at all. We noticed this problem when we returned from Arizona. Not only are calls dropped, no cellular data for internet but also NO GPS since it can't get internet. It is really frustrating. The problem has to be settled between the governments which doesn't reassure me. Verizon says the Altán Redes, the Mexican cellular company, is at fault for the disruption and Altán blames Verizon for interfering on the Mexican side. Verizon has helped us try solutions but there really isn't any for us since we use Verizon for half the year somewhere else. They will reduce you to a lower plan but this would affect us when we work out of the area. I would like them to reduce the bill without a change of plan until this problem is solved.

ATT tried to make the transfer as difficult as possible. Martin did all he could from his end, then I had to go to the ATT store two freeway exits away to get the phone unlocked to complete the transfer. Then back to Verizon. There could be up to 48 hours for the transfer to be completed, according to ATT. Martin set everything up so all I had to do is pop in the new SIM card. 24 hours later, I could write and submit this review on my phone, thanks to Martin.
