Been coming to Temakitto for close to 10 years now. For some time I genuinely felt like this was the best sushi burrito spot in town it feels like the quality has gone a bit downhill since around 2020. That said, I do want to give credit where it's due. Their sushi burritos are huge, and I do think they're worth the price. My favorite thing to get here has always been the salmon roll, but today I decided to try the spicy tuna and spam rolls instead. Honestly, I didn't really enjoy the flavor of either one. Lesson learned: I'll be sticking with the salmon roll from now on. I also wish they had more drink options besides Coke and Sprite. Not a major crisis, obviously, but a little more variety would be nice. The restaurant itself is pretty small and narrow, but the staff has always been polite and attentive. They helped make my dine-in experience comfortable so I appreciate that. Just to be clear: Temakitto isn't terrible by any means. I still think it's better than most sushi burrito spots I've tried, and I'm genuinely glad they were able to survive the pandemic. I would still recommend them to anyone who loves sushi burritos. Still my go to sushi burrito!!! Can't stop won't stop. I had such a busy day today driving all around the valley to get things done and it all ended in santa clarita! You know me, when I'm in the area I'm probably gonna stop by Temakitto. My favorite is the Baja Fresh Salmon Burrito, it is so fresh and light and delicious. The place itself is clean and casual. I asked the employee what the most popular item was and went with the Tiger Crunch Burrito. I hate seaweed, so I subbed it with soy paper (easy swap). I also ordered the gyoza purely out of hunger and impulse lol. Food came out pretty quickly, and you can grab different sides at the end like ginger, soy sauce, wasabi, eel sauce, spicy mayo, ponzu, and more. The burrito was really freaking good..great crunch, a nice kick, and the fish tasted fresh. The pickled ingredients inside really made it fire. That alone made the stop worth it. The gyoza... not great. I wouldn't recommend it..it tasted basic, like frozen gyoza you heat up at home. Total came out to about $27 with tip. This is my go to spot when road tripping up and down the 5. It's about 7 min from the 5. And in my opinion so worth it! Service: They have a screen kiosk where you place your order, set up rewards, and pay. The team receives your order and quickly gets on it. I've always only ordered to go. Ambiance: They have 3 4tops and a few bar style stools that face the wall for those that prefer dining in. The times that I've stopped by they always had good music playing. Food: I'm on the go and want something easy to eat so I order 2 california hand rolls with ponzu and sriracha on the side. They've always been fresh and tasty and the perfect portion to fill me up! Still a fan favorite. I love that they know what my special asks are going to be and are always friendly and accomodating. Most importantly is how fresh the food is every time. This is a wonderful lunch or dinner spot especially if you do not have a lot of time, and a great "to go" place as well. Finally writing a review for Temakitto. I love it because it's such a simple, but delicious meal all wrapped in a burrito. It's also super shareable since they cut it in half for you. I called in for a Togo order and got my usual Crunchy Tiger and the Baja Fresh Salmon for the first time. Service is usually pretty fast, takes about 10-15 minutes depending on how busy it is. I actually enjoyed the Baja Fresh Salmon more than the crunchy. They're both really yummy, but the tamago and the balance of flavors was something else. They're also not stingy about the sauces, which is another super big plus. So glad we have a place like this in SCV! read more

I have to have their salmon burritos weekly. I feel strangely loyal to them and have not found a better burrito. They mix mango, sliced sweetened cucumber, and pepitas to make a perfect symphony in your mouth. I also liked their fried eggplant. I'd skip the Thai tea though. read more

We were looking around for something to eat for a late lunch and we found this ramen spot Kotsu and we walked in and there was literally no one there and I looked at my son and I looked at my husband and we walked back out... so we looked up another place on Yelp and this one was the one! As soon as we walked in we were greeted but we were giving time to figure out what we wanted. I ordered the Lucky Belly which is the vegetarian option, but I asked if I could add pork belly and they were able to add it in!!!!! Whooo hooo!!! My husband got the Red Eye and my son got the Hidden Dragon and my husband got us a Baked Salmon pizza to share. That burrito was amazing! When we got there we were the only people, but soon enough there was a lot of customers coming in and out ordering food to go or dine in. I have been coming to this establishment since it has opened. Our family loves it, but tonight the lady who worked the closing shift was entitled and rude. I placed an online order at 6:45. I received a phone call to let me know they close in 10min, I apologized as I forgot they close at 7 on Saturdays. She proceeded to say that we would have cancelled your sushi pizza order as they do not honor late pizza orders. I let her know I appreciated that gesture and was apologetic for ordering so close to closing. I then called my wife to let her know that she should get there soon, she arrives at sometime between 6:50-7pm, before closing time. She came home and let me know that she got lectured by the same lady that called me about my order, she was told " Can you not order so close to closing, and don't order the pizza ?" My wife again apologized, "I'm so sorry we can cancel the order if you guys are closed" and this lady responds with "it's ok we already completed your order...Ya don't do this" If we ordered before closing, we arrived before closing, and we've apologized for our mistake. We just purchased food and gave your establishment money. Do we need to lectured about ordering food during operating hours? If I had the option to review this place as a 0/10, I definitely would. My family and I wanted to order food, as we entered we were looking at the menu, however, as I asked a question wanting to know the difference between certain items they explained it in a way where they were obviously annoyed. My cousin also asked a question in regards to asking if any of the rolls had avocado and she responded annoyed and clearly irritated saying that none of them had any type of avocado where on their website it clearly says in the description that some do include avocado. We were looking for a sushi place in the area and stumbled upon Temakitto. There's lots of parking but the inside is small with limited seating. The guy who took our order was very patient with us and allowed us to figure out what we wanted before ordering. We got the California Burrito Roll ($6.95), Baja Fresh Salmon Burrito ($13.95) & the Baked Salmon Sushi Pizza ($15.95). In my opinion, the portion size was a bit small for the price of the food. However, the taste was phenomenal. There are no complaints on the actual food - it tasted delicious and very savory! My personal favorite was the Baked Sushi Pizza but the size was a bit small for its price, so I might try a cheaper option next time. read more

Yummy but messy. Haven't been there in a while but decided to get the chicken teriyaki burrito since I was in the area. Unfortunately this time around the burrito was dripping and fell apart. I appreciated all the veggies and not too much rice but it was difficult to eat. Another sushi burrito place I usually visit when I'm in San Francisco usually uses a tofu wrap to wrap around the seaweed so it holds the burrito together. I think that is what this burrito needs. Very unique experience! The sushi burritos combine the ingredients of sushi into a burrito shape. They do such a great job combining ingredients that work well together. We had the Crunchy Tiger Burrito and loved it! Apparently it's their #1 item. When you come in, you order on a large touchscreen then wait for your name to be called. When you pick up the order, they offer a choice of several sauces. Seating is limited, I believe 3 or 4 tables plus a counter. We would love to come again! There's no doubt the food is delicious. However, the place is so dirty. Everything from the tables, to the high chairs, trash spilling out of the can. Upon ordering, through the kiosk, we noticed that the guy making the food kept the same glove to grab food, get receipts and everything else.
