Still my go to sushi burrito!!! Can't stop won't stop. I had such a busy day today driving all around the valley to get things done and it all ended in santa clarita! You know me, when I'm in the area I'm probably gonna stop by Temakitto. My favorite is the Baja Fresh Salmon Burrito, it is so fresh and light and delicious. I always ask for spicy mayo on the side because it adds a nice kick. See you there again soon!!!

I'm not from the area, but I saw good reviews and decided to stop by Temakitto..and I'm glad I did. It's in a plaza with plenty of parking, which is always a plus. The place itself is clean and casual. I asked the employee what the most popular item was and went with the Tiger Crunch Burrito. I hate seaweed, so I subbed it with soy paper (easy swap). I also ordered the gyoza purely out of hunger and impulse lol. Food came out pretty quickly, and you can grab different sides at the end like ginger, soy sauce, wasabi, eel sauce, spicy mayo, ponzu, and more. The burrito was really freaking good..great crunch, a nice kick, and the fish tasted fresh. The pickled ingredients inside really made it fire. That alone made the stop worth it. The gyoza... not great. I wouldn't recommend it..it tasted basic, like frozen gyoza you heat up at home. Total came out to about $27 with tip. I'd definitely come back, but mainly just for the burritos.

This is my go to spot when road tripping up and down the 5. It's about 7 min from the 5. And in my opinion so worth it! Service: They have a screen kiosk where you place your order, set up rewards, and pay. The team receives your order and quickly gets on it. I've always only ordered to go. Ambiance: They have 3 4tops and a few bar style stools that face the wall for those that prefer dining in. The times that I've stopped by they always had good music playing. Food: I'm on the go and want something easy to eat so I order 2 california hand rolls with ponzu and sriracha on the side. They've always been fresh and tasty and the perfect portion to fill me up! For those more adventurous they have some fun toppings you might like too.

SO GOOD! The picture we added was the Sushi Pizza, and we loved every bite! We also got a Spicy Tuna roll and California Roll. 10/10. Also have great customer service!

I ordered the crunchy tiger sushi burrito and was disappointed by the amount of spicy tuna in it - virtually none. Why am I paying upwards of $18 for this when it's just imitation crab and shrimp tempura? My husband's salmon burrito also barely had any salmon. Will not be ordering from here again.

Love the Japones Yuzu burrito! Tasty, just wish portions were bigger because I found myself inhaling it. Unique and refreshing flavors. Also tried the sushi pizza, smallish but good. Small businesses all the way!

On the bowl, can you substitute the rice with green or make it as salad?

I can't answer with certainty, but they're very conscious and accommodating.

Can they make any of the burritos as a bowl option?

Yes. All Sushi burritos available in a bowl.

Question on the sushi pizza. What kind of flour do you use ? Almond or wheat. Thank you.

The sushi pizza base is actually seaweed and rice. Not actual flour.

Do they have a soy paper wrap instead of seaweed?

Yes, you can substitute the seaweed for soy paper but for an extra $0.75

Stupid question, but any keto options here?

Not stupid but I have no idea. Call them & ask them

What is the hasta la vista sauce?

It's a very spicy sauce using Latin peppers like jalapeños

I would say the chance of cross contamination is pretty good so would depend on how severe your Celiac disease is. In general rice, most the veggies, and dish are gluten free, however the crab mix normally will have gluten, same with soy sauce, and…

We arrived around 8:10pm, and we were asked to wait as our table was being cleaned off. We were seated almost instantly. We opted to order 2 Sapporos, 1 sea bass taco, a Johnny roll, chu toro nigiri, jabara nigiri, salmon belly nigiri, hamachi belly nigiri, kasugodai nigiri, unagi nigiri, and brown butter yuzu salmon. This ran us a subtotal of $164, and $180 after tax. The Sapporos came in bottles. I was thrown off because I was expecting draft (just an assumption, the menu did not state it was draft). However, it was nice that the glasses were frozen/cold to keep our beer cold. Our waitress also opened the bottle in front of us and poured it for us. I really enjoyed the sea bass, but I personally felt the lettuce part of the taco was just doing too much. I would be happy if they just sold the sea bass as just the fish without all the extras. The quality of the nigiris were good. The pieces were large, and I enjoyed the rice, but I didn't feel like it was the highest quality sushi I've had in the SCV. I also felt like a majority of the fish that we ordered tasted heavily of lemon, which I'm not the biggest fan of. About 40 minutes into the meal, it was clear to us that the kasugodai nigiri was overlooked. When a waitress asked us if she could get us anything else, we brought it to her attention and she said it would be right out. About ten minutes later the kasugodai came out. I was expecting this to be raw, but appeared to be seared. Again, not sure if this is an issue with me and my assumptions, or if it could have been more clear on the menu. Overall, the restaurant was spacious, clean, and everyone was very friendly. Additionally, there is ample parking. However, I personally did not feel as though the quality matched the price. Is it good enough to get your sushi craving satisfied? Absolutely. Would I drive 20 minutes out of the way just for this restaurant? Maybe not, but if I'm in the area then I may consider it again.

It wasn't too crowded when we got there around 7:30pm on a friday and it sounded like everyone was enjoying themselves as well as complimneting the food. They were also speaking with the chef's wife like they were regulars so it made it feel cozy and comfortable. We ordered several of our go to fish, mainly albacore, blue fin tuna, scallops, and some seared tuna. Everything was great and we kept ordering tea so much that they kept the tea kettle with us. I ordered the Ananto Special Dinner bowl for my wife to go but because it was for dine in only, chef asked if I wanted to get sashimi instead with a side of rice, which I agreed to. As he was slicing chutoro, he mentioned what it was and I told him that was my favorite cut. Not expecting anything, he gave us a slice and it was melt in your mouth goodness! My friend and I continued to catch up and one of the outgoing guests bought him a glass of beer. Being grateful for the chutoro, I decided to order hot sake and share it with him. We also added a few appetizers and rolls. Even though there were no other customers, the food took quite a long time to come out. The most disappointing part was the service. Instead of placing the dishes on the table, the server just handed everything to me directly. I had to take every single plate and set it down on the table myself. I'm not sure if the server was untrained or just lazy, but my wife and I could only laugh at how absurd it was. To top it all off, the sushi we ordered at the very beginning never arrived, even after we had finished all our other food. It was clear they completely forgot about it, so we just asked for the check, paid, and left. This was our first time here, and we definitely won't be coming back.

One page is the standard ones, like the Lion King, sumo rolls, 49er's, and the other page is their special rolls. Unlike last time that we tried a bunch of their special appetizers (and they are still the same on the menu), we tried the rolls and bento this time and I think I like that more. We ordered the Teena roll, the Gilbert roll, an order of salmon roe sushi, a side order of chicken fried rice, and a tempura bento. The rolls tasted good, soft and slightly chewy in the mouth with a blend of all the sashimi and crab meat and sticky Japanese rice. The tempura bento was sumptuous! It came with a bowl of miso soup, a bowl of white rice, 4 or 5 pieces of gyoza, a salad, cucumber, a pre-cut orange, and 8 or 9 pieces of tempura of a variety. My least favorite is probably the salmon roe sushi as I wish the roes look bigger and more orange-y. Service was great. Although we were told they were busy and we might have to wait a bit, food started to come in less than 5 minutes! We didn't get a water refill but the glass of water was big. Dirty dishes were taken away timely too. I've been abused by the Bay Area exorbitant prices for a long time, it was such a pleasure to see rolls priced at $15.
