It felt fresh as well since they stuffed some light veggies in there like cucumbers too to give the "burrito" some added crunch! There is indoor seating better for smaller groups of 2-4. Was pleasantly surprised to try Temakitto for first time. I loved it. We had the Ahi Tuna Sushi pizza and yellow tail burrito. I love sushi in general but usually stick to the classics. So when my friend suggested this, I was game but didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I did. The tuna and the yellow tail was fresh and their combination was very tasty. The ahi tuna sushi pizza had a nori/seaweed "crust" with a thin layer of rice and then a layer of what would usually be called "dynamite" - a mixture of scallops, salmon and crab meat....topped with ahi tuna, scallions and then drizzled with spicy mayo and teriyaki sauce. Sounds like a lot - but it combines so well. The yellow fish burrito is like a large yellow fish hand roll - so good too. I think it's good value for the price. I had my own burrito and shared the pizza and this was enough to fill through the day. The place is small so ordered to take out and held well till we go home. The Crunchy Tiger was good too. It does have heat, so keep your water in arms reach. That first bite does shock your taste buds. It is on the heavier side so it's like the polar opposite of the Baja Salmon. My son had the kids salmon. And it pretty much was the same size as our rolls! I picked up an order today for a Crunch Tiger burrito, and I expected the burrito to have all the ingredients as stated and as shown in different photos. However, what I got was basically a daikon, lettuce, and cabbage burrito, as you can see in my photo. My burrito was missing shrimp tempura and imitation crab meat, and they literally put a teaspoon of spicy tuna. This is absolutely outrageous and not worth nearly $18. We ordered two Crunchy Tiger Burritos, an Ahi Tuna Pizza, Chicken Terriyaki Quesadilla as well as two "Cannibal Fries - Crispy Fries tossed in Garlic Butter, Mongolian Beef, Mango Pico De Gallo, & Green Onion topped with Dynamite Sauce & Eel Sauce". Pickup was fast, and we were all super excited to eat, especially the Cannibal fries. Imagine our surprise and dismay when our "Cannibal Fries" had no meat on them. Not saying that they skimped on it, there was literally NONE. I contacted the restaurant expecting for them to offer to replace or refund us for them. Unfortunately, the snarky young cashier told me "Yeah, the cannibal fries don't come with meat anymore. I pointed out that the website still had the description above, and that the what we expected and what we received were totally different. To that she responded, "yeah, sorry but that's just our menu". I found that while the food was delicious, the inaccurate menu, and poor customer service/lack of apology is more than we are willing to forgive. Hand rolls from Kisho, Mr. Sushi, or Tokyo sushi will be just as delicious and the menu and service will be on point. I'm a huge fan of sushi and I appreciate the awesome twist they added to it! I also appreciated that it was super affordable. Normally sushi is pretty expensive but here you get a big burrito with high quality stuff inside for $14! The inside space is pretty small but I like the vibe. Next time I go I want to try the sushi pizza. Looks really interesting. They also serve other items if sushi isn't your thing ;) I recommend the Baja roll! read more

I've pondered whether or not to write this review for few months. I'm one of the original customers of Temakitto. A solid regular...even helped create the Cha Cha Chalbacore burrito. The original owner and I talked a lot. He explained things like how the Sushi rice is the most important ingredient and how it took him weeks of tinkering to get the perfect rice. He even went to Japan for training on how to create the perfect combinations of flavors. That's why it makes me very sad that the current owner (it changed hands just before COVID), isn't honoring what was started there. The rice now is inconsistent in texture and taste. They stopped using guacamole on every burrito (a major part of the flavor profile), and the burritos just aren't the same now. We've probably been there every week or two since they opened. And the last half dozen times just weren't exciting like they used to be. We have tapered off going there now and that's sad because we love to support small businesses like that. If you go and were never there before, you may not notice the difference, but for those who did, it's obvious. I hope they take the input and get back to what was started there. read more

They are super consistent with the quality of the food & their ingredients taste so fresh! Baja Salmon: Temakitto really knows how to nail down their flavor combinations. You wouldn't typically think to add pico de gallo, guacamole, and a few of the other unique items Temakitto places into their flavor-packed burritos... into but wow the flavors work super well together!
