Horrendous experience with a Home Depot delivery. We waited 5 hrs they were an hour late on a 4 hr delivery then said they couldn't instal because there wasnt a shut off valve. Wasted Saturday and no one told us about a shut off valve. Maddening!!! read more

We moved to our new house in June 2014. Our appliances (Oven, dishwasher, washer and dryer) were bought at Home Depot in Newbury Park, CA, and were delivered and installed by Temco's contractors. The delivery was on time and the installers were polite at first. The washer and dryer went in first and were set up quickly, but then the oven and dishwasher were brought in, at some points along the route from the truck to the kitchen one of the installers kept losing his grip on the oven and dropped it in a few spots on our laminate wooden floor, chipping it in several spots. The other installer asked us when he noticed the damage "had you just done these floors?" actually bringing this to our attention. When we mentioned that we'll be contacting the company about this, the installer's attitude changed 180 trying to say that the damage was already there. They took pictures of the flooring while they were still moving the appliances for the installation . Notes were added to the completion /waiver contract that we had to sign. The dishwasher went in next and apparently they were in a hurry because they didn't actually fasten the tubing that drains the cycled water from the dishwasher, leading to the next load that we ran, to burst the tube and spill water into the under-sink cabinet and flood the kitchen floor. This caused swelling in the cabinet wood, that completely deformed it, requiring us to not only find a replacement fastener and tubing for the dishwasher drain ourselves, but also dry, sand and repaint the cabinet. Over the next 6 months we would contact Home Depot and Temco over and over and over again, to no avail even up to this day as Temco's response time was horrendous, trying to point the fault at anyone but them and taking up to 3 weeks to return our calls. At some point we were contacted by a Temco representative saying someone will be coming by to our house to take pictures of the damage, almost a month and a half after we had already fixed it. They said it's protocol... We asked that it be done over the weekend as that's the only time we're home during their business hours. They said "we'll have someone call you on Saturday to schedule for Sunday morning." That was sometime in late July 2014. No call on Saturday, and at that point we'd been waiting to hear from someone that Sunday morning, as far as scheduling, and it wasn't until 4:15pm that we finally got a call from the actual installer who delivered our appliances who said "he could be at our house at 6, although the visit was scheduled for 5pm" (even though it was never actually scheduled in the first place). This was not possible due to us having plans and we were expecting a Temco rep in the morning, therefore planned our day accordingly. This repeated twice more (!). Finally since we weren't able to coordinate with their representatives to come by and take pictures, and after almost 3 months they just asked us to email them to a specific email address at Temco, with pictures of the damage. We snapped pictures as soon as the damage happened, of course, however we never even received as much as a confirmation that the email was received on their end (which we know it did because we got delivery confirmation as well as CC'ing ourselves on the email). Now after 9 months of living at our new house, the latest we heard was that one request to send them the email with the pictures. Nothing since, and that was in August 2014. We're not sure who to go to at this point as Home Depot isn't really at fault at this, since they're contractors they hire to do that job. read more

I don't understand how this business stays afloat with all the negative reviews. I too had the unfortunate experience of a most horrible customer service situation. Part of the company's name is logistics and they can't even live up to their name. Their "Logistics" team need more training on logistics and effective communication skills. Waited half a day for delivery and no call came so I called a few times, was promised a supervisor would call and no call came either, no delivery but I'm sure the company already got their fair share of the income from my purchase. These companies (Home Depot, Costco, etc...) that use Temco Logistics as their last mile service provider need to realize how awful they are representing them. What a shame! read more

Bought a washer/dryer from Home Depot and paid for delivery and install, Temco Logistics is the company that Home Depot outsourced it to. Guys showed up with the appliance and refused to take it down one flight of stairs. I paid some other guys to move it down the stairs and the Tempco Guys said they'd be back they day to install it. They didn't show up. They rescheduled for the next week - ANOTHER NO SHOW. I spent over an hour on various calls and was hold for 15 minute+ calls and finally spoke to Nina who promised to call me back. She never did. An awful experience on every level. read more

So, they were scheduled to deliver and install a dishwasher for us on a Friday, they got to the house and said that we had a problem with the water shutoff valve and left. I had someone come out and check the valve and they said their was no problem, so Monday they came back out to deliver and install. Super nice guys quick and neat but they accidentally took a part to the air gap and now we have water spraying out onto the counter. It took me 2.5 hours to even find a phone number to reach these guys. I finally do and they schedule someone to come out on the next Friday. They arrive and tell me that the part is missing and they don't have one. So I finally get a hold of Joe in claims and he tells me that he will take care of it. On the next Tuesday 2 more young men come out and ask me where the new part is so they can replace it. I don't have the part, I wasn't told to get one little alone have to go buy it when I didn't loose or break the original one. So, here we are again, still without a dishwasher. I ordered a dishwasher from Home Depot with installation and haul away. The Temco delivery people said they couldn't install it and would not take away my old one. Two and a half days later after maybe six hours on the phone to both companies and being told by Tempco that it would be delivered this morning, a service technician called but didn't have the dishwasher. I called Tempco and they said the order was canceled. I despair of resolving this at this point. I will never order an appliance from Home Depot again as long as they use Temco Logistics. read more

I ordered my new Range in late November, it was backordered and was so excited have it delivered on January 22nd. The delivery team arrived, took my "Old Sparky" away and brought in and installed, leveled, and started the initial "burn off" for me. The Range needed to burn off any residuals from manufacture before use for cooking. The entire 3 man team worked well together, communicating, transporting carefully into my house. The team leader was cordial, directed and executed the install. I was very impressed with their professionalism and how well they performed. I doubt you could find better public representatives of your business! Very happy with their help in making my kitchen a better place to cook all of my meals. Unbelievably horrible service! Starting with parking there huge truck in the middle of the street blocking traffic in our community area pissing off other homeowners when they could have easily pulled the truck over to the side to allow traffic to go through. The delivery guy started with saying he was not going to install the washer and dryer units since they are on the 3rd floor until we pointed out to him that that was clearly noted on the Home Depot order. He then put a couple dents in the wall moving the units upstairs. Then unknown to us they stuffed some of the wrapping around the dryer into the vent tube so the dryer would not work. The dryer also was gouged in the side we discovered later. So we had to have installers come back multiple times to check the unit to figure out what was wrong. A month wasted and I have a broken dryer. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!! read more
