Unfortunately, I won't be using this company again. In early May I had a five window tint installed on my Tesla Model 3. I immediately noticed creases - not bubbling - on the front driver side and rear window cutout sections indicating improper installation. I brought it back to be told they tried to squeegee it and to give it more time and it should disappear but that if it didn't that they would replace it. Ok, no problem. They're the experts. After another week and a half it had not disappeared. I communicated with them via Yelp to return for the third time to have it fixed. Upon arrival I was told they were too busy and there was a miscommunication with my appointment time that was confirmed through Yelp messaging. I returned a fourth time to finally have the issue resolved over the course of now 5 weeks. At this point I asked if there was any sort of discount I could receive on the $600 I spent due to the additional time and energy expended coming back to resolve an issue that was never done correctly. After following up twice, once over the phone and a second time through Yelp, no one ever responded to the request. I love supporting independent businesses and would have loved to bring my wife's car here, but there are many other similarly priced tint shops to chose from as well. read more

We decided to have the front and back windows tinted on the Jetta and started researching for the highly reviewed auto tinting shop in Temecula. After comparing the quality of work and prices among the top 10 auto tinting companies on Yelp, I found Temecula Auto Glass as the leading tinting company in the city with over 300 superlative reviews. The request was made the day before and I was put on the schedule for the next day. I was even surprised to have received a lower quote compared to other tinting shops around. At the time of the visit, I was welcomed nicely by the tinters and manager upfront. The lobby was well kept and had leather seats around with pillows. They had a coffee machine that came with assorted flavored packs. The floor was also made with overlapping vinyl floors. It made me feel as if I was in one of those model homes. They were very thorough in explaining the various types of tinting materials available and made a few recommendations based on my preferences when it came to shades and affordability. The manager showed me the exhibit and had my hand feel the heat as the machine turned with varying tinting brand. I was amazed that each tint actually had differing levels in rejecting heat, even when the shade all came in the same color. I went with the 3M premium grade, darker tint on the back and CA legal tint on the front windows. The outcome looked great and complimented really well with the white color vehicle. I was given a 10 percent discount totaling $200 out the door (before tax), which was a lot lower from the quote I've received elsewhere. Really amazing experience. I had booked an appointment with another company I have used in the past, but they were almost a month out in bookings. With almost two weeks left to wait, I was reading about someone who took their Tesla Model 3 to Temecula Auto Glass and Window tinting and raved about the experience. I decided to check their site and compare what they had to offer with what I had already been quoted by the other company. The competition had great ratings on Yelp. Over a hundred. Temecula Auto Glass and Window Tinting had the same - except over five hundred. Additionally, I searched the comments and found several references to Tesla's on this page, and none at all on competitor's Yelp page. Hmmmm. I called and spoke with Jasmine and told her I had many questions. She invited me to come in, so I did, arriving about 1:45 in the afternoon. They were busy, but Sammy was able to answer my questions and patiently discussed different options by my car as I explained my goals for having the windows tinted. The price wasn't cheap, but it was for the best ceramic film they offer with the highest IR protection and that's what I wanted. If you know anything about Model 3's, you're surrounded by glass. Even with the factory darkened roof, it's very bright in there and prone to heat ingress. Once I decided on the degree of tint I wanted for the vehicle and where, Sammy shocked me by saying that they could do my car THAT day. By now, it's after 2pm. Wow. They close at 5pm, but Sammy made sure they stayed open until 6pm when I picked up my car. He went above and beyond to make sure I was happy and satisfied with the work and even threw in a small discount when he was ringing me up. There's a reason these guys have over 500 reviews and a rating of five stars. They EARN it. They work hard for it. I will conclude by saying that my car was immaculate, inside and out, when I left it with Temecula Auto Glass and Window Tinting, with a white interior and light color headliner fabric. It was returned to me in the exact same condition except with the tinting, which made it look a lot better. Sammy left the 3M stamping on the tint so I could be assured that what I purchased is what was installed, then went around my car cleaning the 3M factory watermarking OFF the tint. Sammy also pointed out that the check strap on the driver's door was worn, I am grateful that he pointed it out because I was really unaware that the popping noise I was hearing when opening and closing that door was anything out of the ordinary. I have since learned that it is something that Tesla will replace under warranty. Again, above and beyond with a genuine commitment to customer service. Unprofessional, careless, poor time management are a few ways to describe this business. I asked for ceramic and I do not believe I received ceramic. When picking up my car the first time, there were obvious bubbles, they said it should dry up and to give it a couple days. A wk later, I requested they redo/fix the tint due to large bubbles, lint/dirt in the tint and the cut they had made on the tint was extremely visible. I had my appt for 2 wks before walking into the shop to have them retint my car. Jasmine said, I did not have an appt, she was wrong. It was in the book, she had over looked the appt. My appt was at 9am, I told Jasmine needed my car by 3pm. She stated, it was no problem and it was enough time. I receive a call at 1:30pm explaining they need more time and pick up would be at 4:30. 6 hrs should be enough time for a retint/fix. Frustrated, we requested our money back and Jasmine said they would have to remove the tint. Came to check on them and they were standing around eating popsicles!! Time management is horrible, they were unable to finish the job with the time allotted. For a customer to have an appt it should not take the entire day to get their tint done or fixed. In the process of removing the tint, their carelessness caused damage my vehicle. They ruined the defroster on my back windshield and the cover on the break light no longer snaps in properly. I'm extremely disappointed. I would not recommend bringing your vehicle here. read more

If I could give them no stars I would. The job they did was horrible! You can see clearly they did not do the job correctly. I have set an appointment to do a re-tint and they gave me one 3 weeks later. When we dropped the car off, the receptionist said we didn't have an appointment. It was 9AM on a Saturday but they took us in anyway. They then called us 4 hours later and said it won't be done until 4:30PM. There is no way I wanted to waste the whole day and it shouldn't take 7 hours to get this fixed. I told her we dropped it off early and we had set an appointment weeks ago, come to find out that she didn't even look at the schedule the first time and magically saw that we did have an appointment. As a result of the bad tint job and service we had them remove everything and we received a full refund. I did end up walking in the back and checking on my car and they were actually standing around listening to the exhaust. What kind of company does that. Save your money and take your car somewhere else. This place is a waste of time. read more
