We purchased used laptops from Temecula Laptop Repair a few years ago. They have served us well. When I recently brought one of them in for repair, they didn't even charge me. They have fixed a broken screen on our HP laptop twice now and both times they did a beautiful job and the price was affordable. Also, my kids somehow broke our XBox, so I called Diego hoping he could fix it. I was impressed with how they handled the broken Xbox... they had to take the thing apart and attempt several different things to trouble-shoot how to fix it. I have an HP Split X2 laptop that would not power up. Geek Squad could not do anything, said a data recovery service could help for maybe $1K. No easy way to access this model's hard drive was their story, and I'm on a tech support contract with them! Found Sergio Nunez the proprietor of TLRiT in Temecula on Google and it turns out his establishment is only two miles away from me. Reviews had me optimistic and man did he deliver! Had it working the same day I brought it in, even copied my data to a hard drive of mine I brought in just in case. Also got the HDMI outlet to work as Geek Squad over a year ago said that was irreparable! Sergio obviously knows his stuff and is reasonably priced. I paid $100 total when I was convinced my laptop died and my data was lost. Thought I was stuck for at least $600 to start over. Probably cause FYI are the Windows10 auto updates. Shutting down during one in the background maybe? Any computer related issues/advice from this day on Sergio is my source. No more Geek Squad or asking old friends in the industry, etc. if I ever need something again. Sergio proved to me what clowns they are and what a sap I was. These guys are the best! I slipped sugar/cream coffee on my 3 year old apple laptop pro & I thought it was ruined. I bought it in within a day of the disaster and they were able to clean it up and now it works just like new. They explained the key is to get it to them asap, before the spill has a chance to harden and destroy the inner workings of the computer. A couple of weeks ago I broke the screen on my HP laptop and the timing could not have come at a worse time as I was in the middle of a project that was due the next day and all the files were located on it. I Googled laptop repair Temecula and these guys came up first on the organic search (not the paid ads on top) so I called them. I talked to a guy who asked me to locate the model number on my machine. I even told him that if he didn't have one I would be willing to buy a refurbished one and he could then transfer all the files since I was so desperate . Well lo and behold it turns out that the screen on my laptop is very common so he had them in stock and gave me a great price to replace it. He could tell that I was needing this as soon as possible so he told me that if I could bring it to him within about an hour he would be able to do it that afternoon. Luckily I live under 5 minutes away so I hopped in my truck and brought it right over. He told me it wouldn't take him very long to repair and he would have it for me in an hour. WOW, how awesome is that? I ran some errands and went back and he had the job completed! Not only that but he told me that it was kinda lucky it happened and he asked if it has been running hot. I told him not only had it been getting really hot but it even shuts down because of it. Well, he told me that when he replaced the screen he had to expose the mother board with the fan and noticed that the fan was completely clogged with dust, dirt and other debris that it wasn't turning and also said that if this wouldn't have happened it would have fried the mother board pretty soon and all may have been lost so it truly was a blessing in disguise. All said and done the repair cost me under $200 and he saved me much more then that in the long run, I highly recommend this company to anyone who needs a repair on their laptop. I have a ultra book that developed video problems. Unfortunately components are directly mounted to the Mother board with my ultra book so the repair could have easily required a MB replacement. After diagnosis I was told that re flowing solder connections had a good chance of resolving the problem. I gave the OK and the result was exactly as hoped for. My system has operated perfectly since. Their skilled diagnosis and skilled work with a soldering iron avoided an expensive MB replacement. I was treated with courtesy that is uncommon today. Brian was very knowledgeable in his diagnosis of my laptop. I'm very impatient with most things in life, but it was worth the wait for 2 days for my laptop's return. Considering the HD was on its last legs ("I'm surprised it didn't crash.") and it had I believe 12 viruses that were well hidden in my system... Brian is absolutely AMAZING! I discovered Temecula Laptop Repair a few years back when they were at their old location. I never go to anyone else for my computer repairs. They are the experts, honest, extremely reasonable and fast! If it can be fixed, they can fix it. Brian is so accommodating and an expert in all technological repair. He has fixed all of my computer problems. I have also purchased two computers from him that he had for sale in their shop as back ups.
