Diego is the man. I was told I was gonna have to send my MAC into apple for a new logic board which is pretty damn expensive. 500-700. Diego troubleshooted my computer and after a few day I had it back and it works perfect. Oh and I waited awhile to make sure it lasted before writing my review. It took about 10 mins to evaluate and fix the problem and they did not even charge me because it was just some coding that needed changed. They repaired my broken blacked out laptop pc screen and replaced dvd player with a bluray dvd writer. Excellent job on the screen repair, jury still out on the player. It does not always recognize a dvd and the item is considered a 3.5 rating average. Today, 10/26, I came by and they are closed. I waited for 35 minutes and called 3 times and did not receive an answer if they were going to open. Frustrating!!! read more

I was full of hope and chose this place to repair my laptop based on the good reviews. I did see a couple of one stars but really did think that it must be the review writers' bias that is the reason for the bad review. But here I am with a one star review. It started out nice when I dropped of my laptop on a Friday. They seemed all very nice and they gave me quote of 100 dollars (50 dollars less the another place's quote) and a promise to call me the next day with an update and also a promise to call me should there be another issue or should they find a different diagnosis for which the repair would be more expensive. Nobody called me all weekend. So I called them on the following Wednesday requesting an update. Nothing had been done yet but they promised me to call me in a couple of days. Nothing happened and no calls, not the next few days, not over the weekend. So I called again on the following Tuesday (now they have had my laptop for 11 days at this point. I was informed they had to order a part that would come in the next day -again NOBODY called me EVER to give me ANY updates as to why it takes so long, I am not sure why they always PROMISE TO CALL when that is not something they do - I ASKED "IS IT STILL GONNA BE THE 100 DOLLARS QUOTED and the answer was "YES, 100 DOLLARS PLUS TAX). They said I could pick up my laptop on Thursday. I said I would only be able to make it in on Saturday. I was not able to come on Saturday but dropped in on Monday (today at which point they had my laptop for 17 days!!!). First thing I see is my laptop laying to the side taken apart in many parts. There were 3 people in the shop and nobody was working on my laptop (which should have been ready LAST THURSDAY as per what they told me- nobody called to inform me otherwise!!!). So now, Diego asked me to come back in 2 hours. I informed him that I could not come back in 2 hours. He then said, ok 45 min. I said fine. He calls me in about 45 min letting me know the laptop is ready and that he would give me 20 dollars discount for the trouble and I actually started thinking "Oh how nice, they are trying to make things right and provide good customer service after all". I started feeling good about this and even thought that I would write a positive YELP review because I like how they tried to rectify the situation. Once I arrive there I am thinking the price should now be 80 dollars plus tax. However, the guy asks for 100 dollars. I advise of Diego's discount. He calls Diego and comes back to tell me that the original quote was 120 (all of the sudden) and so now the new discounted total is 100. I felt so taken advantage off, they treated me, a customer so poorly throughout this whole process and now they try to give me a discount that is not a discount AT ALL to "make things right"? So, they raised the original price so they would not lose any money for the "discount" I was to receive ??? How awful is that? I was told not once but TWICE the price will be 100 dollars. I am not crazy, I know what I was told. It is not very professional in the first place to not even provide a printed quote (if they wanted to avoid this kind of situation they should - also did not receive a receipt for the money I paid, they did not even have change for the cash I had). I feel being ripped off and taken advantage off and left powerless at the mercy of some crooked business that is just not very professional in the way they conduct business. I would never go there again or recommend for anyone else to go there. It seems like it's a gamble as to whether you get a 5 star service or a 1 star "service" like some of us here. I would recommend not taking that gamble. read more

Brian is very friendly, talks through everything he is going to do and then does it. Brian will say he is going to call and give an update on a certain date and he does! He said my computers will be ready and on a certain date and they were! In May I dropped my MacBook laptop, creating a black out on the edge of my retina screen. Brian was able to switch out the screens, thus saving me from having to buy a whole new computer and it worked like new. I brought our iMac in in July and he installed a new hard drive and more memory; it's a better computer and works so much better than even before the hard drive meltdown. Had a cracked screen on my laptop, ordered the screen myself and was just looking for someone to install it. These guys were able to repair the same day, and actually could have done it while I waited but I left it for a few hours instead. My laptop had to be completely disassembled to replace the screen and it was a $75 charge. Just took my laptop in after spilling water on it and I couldn't be more please with how thesie guys handled it. Being nervous about my laptop they gave me an idea of the best case and worse case scenario which helped a lot. I have it under warranty and they provided an invoice with no problems and checked and cleaned my computer without having to replace any parts. Franco was absolutely amazing! I hadn't used my MacBook in over 6 months because I was contemplating buying a new one since my lab top was banged up pretty bad. The right side of my screen was completely shattered and my click pad wasn't working. Franco replaced my screen for a really good price and straightened some of the other parts of the lab top. Took in an older Samsung 10" net book with a bad LCD screen. Being an older unit Brian knew we didn't want to spend more on a new screen than the unit was worth so he searched their bone-pile of parts but they did not have one. He said he would have to order a new one. Knowing the cost for the new screen was what is was, he was willing to work with us on the labor. We settled on a price and true to his word he called 2 days later to say the screen had come in but they sent a 10.1" instead of a 10.2" and though it fit in the machine and operated like new he said it did in fact show about 1/16" of an inch of border on the display. I'm pretty sure I would not have noticed and I'm equally sure few other repairs shops would have even brought it up. These guys are friendly, knowledgeable and above all have integrity. read more
