This review is for their wedding venue, not the golf course itself…read more This was one of our final contenders and ultimately stood out for creating an intimate atmosphere without feeling dominated by the golf course. All of my communication was through Nicole, who was consistently responsive and quick to answer questions throughout the process. =PROS= *Ceremony and reception spaces felt completely separate from the golf course *Overnight parking included *String lighting at both the entrance and outdoor areas was included *Extensive menu customization with premium upgrades that were not commonly offered elsewhere, including caviar and oysters *Beautifully designed bar setup *Gorgeous fireside patio space *Flexible dessert options *Reasonably priced meals for vendors and children *Complimentary soft holds with 24 hours to make a decision =CONS= *Ceremony site felt somewhat bare aside from the well maintained lawn *Bridal and groom suites were on the smaller side, with bathrooms located separately *Chivari chairs required an additional setup fee *Cocktail hour catering was limited to in house options *Reception space felt somewhat cramped for a guest count of 150 =NOTES= *The parking lot was quite full during our consultation, though we were told it typically clears out later in the day *Only four restroom stalls for guests, though renovations are reportedly planned in the near future Overall, this remained one of our strongest contenders. Had we been bigger golf enthusiasts, this venue may very well have won us over. The package felt highly inclusive, and there were numerous thoughtful details that set it apart from other venues we toured. However, with our larger guest count, the indoor reception space felt a bit tight and ultimately gave us some hesitation. Even so, there was a lot to like here, particularly for couples seeking an intimate setting with a polished, all inclusive experience.

Staff makes the day better, from clubhouse to starter to cart staff, always a great experience. Correction on prior review, golf carts DO have coolers with ice, so bring your water and soda. GPS on carts matches my Garmin, so take that as good news too. If you're lucky, you'll catch an afternoon where smashburgers are grilled to order on the patio, big win! Pace of play runs 4 1/2 hours, very nice.

My husband and I came on a Friday night with our kids to celebrate our fifth wedding anniversary…read more The servers and greeting staff were very friendly and helpful! They accommodated our baby and toddler with grace and had kid friendly coloring papers with crayons. The ambience was honestly a mix of business casual and elevated family dining. It was perfect for us as it wasn't overly formal but elevated and family friendly enough for our special occasion! It's an interesting mix though because the restaurant is next to or attached to a saloon so you do see many guests dressed in cowboy/cowgirl attire (denim bottoms/tops with leather cowboy boots) as well! Finally, the food itself was quite delicious! Our toddler loved her cheesy cavatappi (which seems to be made in house fresh) and devoured most of it immediately. She also loved her chocolate sundae of course. The asparagus was seasoned and roasted well which we finished completely. The creamed spinach was honestly more like a cheesy cream spinach since there was a thick layer of cheese laid on top. Needless to say, it was very good too. The pommes frites (fancy for French fries), were very crispy and the accompanying sauce, which tasted like a horseradish aioli, was perfect. The steak was done medium rare and was also very delicious per hubby. It was crispy on the edges and tender and juicy towards the inside. Desserts were the star of the show after we had finished our main meals. I got a hazelnut crunch bar (hazelnut chocolate mousse topped with caramelized hazelnuts, whipped cream, chocolate balls, caramel sauce and a side of vanilla ice cream) and my husband got the Milky Way bar (chocolate mousse bar with pieces of caramel and nougat ~ chef's version of a deconstructed Milky Way Bar). Both desserts were absolutely scrumptious and also beautiful in presentation as seen in the photos above. The hazelnut chocolate mousse was creamy and absolutely lovely paired with a hazelnut cookie base. Overall I'd give this place 4.5 stars and highly recommend as a place for elevated family dinners or simply a place to celebrate something special.

We end up having to wait 20 min to get seated. Crazy when it was just a reservation for 2. They didn't offer anything like a complimentary drink to make it better. Next, to the meal. We ordered the 58oz Cowboy Ribeye. I honestly think I could have made a better steak at home. Absolutely no crust in the outside. Not that well seasoned. The meat was good quality but they butchered the execution. Insane a steakhouse could make such a bad steak honestly. Not worth the price. Okay and then there were the sides. The lobster Mac n Cheese was the only reason this wasn't a 1 star meal. That was honestly fantastic. I am a fair critic. Credit where credit is due. If I ever returned, it would be for the lobster mac. But I wouldn't order anything else. The potatoes were pretty good too but nothing crazy. All in all, I will be spending my money at Brea Chop House instead. Way better steak

The property itself is absolutely stunning--the botanical beauty of the grounds, the lush florals, the charming cottages, and the peaceful atmosphere created the perfect backdrop for our wedding day. Everywhere you looked felt like a dream. A huge and heartfelt thank you to our coordinator, Jules. She was nothing short of amazing. Her attention to detail, calm presence, organization, and genuine care made the entire planning process and wedding day completely stress-free. She anticipated needs before we even realized them, kept everything running seamlessly, and made us feel supported every step of the way. Every bride deserves a Jules! I also have to give special recognition to Meg from The Creative Corner Shop. The florals were beyond breathtaking. She perfectly captured our vision and transformed the venue into something even more magical than we imagined. Every arrangement was stunning, artistic, and thoughtfully designed. The staff at Temecula Creek Cottages were incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive to both us and our guests. The property was immaculate, the cottages were comfortable and beautifully maintained, and every interaction we had with the team was positive. Our wedding day was more beautiful than we ever could have imagined, and that's because of the incredible people who made it happen. Thank you, Temecula Creek Cottages, Jules, Meg, and the entire team for giving us memories we'll cherish forever. We wish we could do it all over again!

From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the beauty, the serenity, and the undeniable charm that this property radiates from every corner. The grounds are stunningly beautiful--lush, thoughtfully maintained landscaping, picturesque pathways, and a sense of privacy that makes you feel as though you've stepped into your own hidden oasis. It offered the perfect blend of elegance and rustic romance, giving us the intimate atmosphere we were hoping for without sacrificing refinement or comfort. The scenery created the most breathtaking backdrop for our ceremony and photos; every angle felt like a magazine cover. The cottages themselves were absolutely perfect. Each one was cozy, comfortable, and full of character, creating an environment that truly enhanced the magic of the weekend. They gave us and our loved ones that "wedding retreat" feeling--quaint, warm, and incredibly special. Waking up on the property on our wedding day felt peaceful, grounding, and unforgettable. But beyond the beauty of the venue, what truly elevated our entire experience was working with Julie Edwards, owner of Simply Regal. Julie is, without exaggeration, the greatest wedding planner we have ever come across. Her talent, professionalism, and dedication are genuinely unmatched. From the very beginning, she approached our wedding with a level of care and creativity that was absolutely mind-blowing. Julie has an extraordinary ability to take your vision--even when it's not fully formed--and bring it to life in ways you didn't even realize were possible. She thinks of every detail, big and small, and executes with a level of precision and grace that made the entire day flow flawlessly. Her organization, her calm presence, and her intuitive understanding of what a couple needs (often before they even know themselves) transformed our wedding day into something truly spectacular. It wasn't just that she planned a wedding--it's that she crafted an experience. Every moment felt intentional, personal, and seamless. We felt supported, cared for, and genuinely understood throughout the entire process. Julie has a gift, and we are so grateful we got to benefit from it. If you're considering Temecula Creek Cottages for your wedding, do it. The venue is magical. And if you have the chance to work with Julie from Simply Regal, don't hesitate--she will elevate your day beyond anything you could imagine. Our wedding was absolutely perfect, and we owe so much of that to this venue and to Julie Edwards. They helped create memories we will treasure for the rest of our lives.

Overall, it was a good experience, but a few things didn't quite match our expectations. Upon arrival, the building wasn't as "grand" as it appears in the promotional videos--it has more of a homey, slightly outdated feel, though still pleasant. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, even offering a golf cart service on a first-come, first-served basis for late-night rides back to the hotel, which was a nice touch. Our room was nice, but not exactly what we expected. We had requested a king ocean-view room--the view was absolutely amazing--but the bed was definitely closer to a queen size. Unfortunately, my husband had trouble sleeping because his side of the mattress was sagging. On a positive note, the bathroom was spotless--really well maintained (check out my photos!). And the location is a huge highlight--within easy walking distance to local shops and restaurants, which made everything super convenient. Overall, a mixed experience: great location and service, but some room details could definitely be improved.

We both had king sized beds with huge closets and a bathroom to share between the bedrooms. The small seating area with couch and a small dining table with 4 chairs was between the bedrooms in front of the bathroom. The kitchenette included a medium sized fridge/freezer and sink with a Keurig coffee maker. It would have been better if they added a small microwave as well, I felt it was the only thing missing. My room with the balcony facing the street also had a wireless charger and sound machine. What a great touch. My friend took the front bedroom with the view of the pool. Both bedrooms had TVs and ceiling fans. The robes were also perfect! I brought my own hotel slippers. Pool area lacked a little bit more of shade but that's a personal preference. It's so nice that the pool and hot tub was open 24/7! The pool bar is so nice to have for a smaller resort like this. It definitely made our experience better! We didn't get to try the restaurant on site but will definitely check it out next time because we're already planning our next stay! Shout out to Sierra for being such a sweet hostess!

It's a dump now. No one is taking care of the property. The pool is absolutley disgusting. The pool area is covered in trash and the water was murky and way too warm making it extremly uninviting. The room was a complete disaster too. Black marks all over the walls, stains on the sheets and couch. We had a bunch of mismatched small micro fiber towels in place of regular towels for the bathroom... ??? And the cherry on top was that we recieved a text the morning of stating that the bar and restaurant on the property were going to be closed all weekend. No refunds or discounts offered. Overall the property appeared very neglected and our experience was unacceptable. I will not stay here again or recommend to others.
