We had such an amazing time celebrating our friend's 30th birthday! We had a group of 16 for the tour and it worked out seamlessly. We arrived at the assigned meeting location (1st Winery), and then had our own little party bus escort us to each winery. When we arrived at each winery, the table was ready for our group, and there were no wait times. Being that this was on a Saturday, I was shocked! Moses and Curtis were our tour guides, and they were absolutely fantastic! They were so friendly and helpful. I accidentally left my purse at one of the wineries, and they made sure to have someone deliver it to us at the next winery. I did a late bird tour with John two weeks ago and everyone had an absolute blast! The prices were absolutely reasonable for the quality of the trip, customer service, and the experience. Moses called and informed me of what to expect and shared his expectations prior to departure. John arrived promptly at the scheduled time, greeted everyone, and took great care of us throughout. He checked us in at each winery where we were served immediately, checked in with us while we were there, and ensured that he picked us up right out front at the scheduled times. The bus that they took us on was gorgeously maintained and much more than what we were expecting. It was stocked with waters for us to use throughout the trip. So Cal Wine tours began as a lovely tour of the vineyards in Temecula. The price was great and wineries were fantastic. However, one of the tour guides, Calvin, was unprofessional and ended up crudely dancing with several girls in our group. While I believe his intentions were lighthearted, he did not ask permission, which ultimately resulted in several girls in our group feeling uncomfortable. I can appreciate the intentions to have fun and let loose, but this crossed a line and is not something we signed up for. read more

Booked this tour with Breana about a month ago for my wife's birthday. Breana was very responsive to my emails and calls, made it super easy to reserve. We did the Sunday evening tour which departed at 2pm. Curtis & John were our drivers. They were great at explaining everything to us and even gave us pointers for each of the 3 wineries we visited. We also had a blast on our tour bus, as mentioned by others, the Playlist options were a big hit with our group. You can never beat having a driver take you around different wineries. It was my mother in laws 60th birthday this weekend and we decided to do a repeat with Moses Wine Tours. YES!! He's that amazing!!! Moses greeted us with mimosas and Happy Birthday balloons! He was very friendly and welcoming as always! He escorted us to all 4 wineries and made sure everything was perfect. We decided to do a Temecula weekend pretty last minute so was just trying to get any tour for Saturday. We had the mindset of it might not be the best, but we'll be together and drink some good wine. We stumbled upon SoCal Wine Tours and could not recommend them enough! We specifically had John and Joyce and they were the absolute best! Such good nice people that took care of us! Took us to the best wineries and made sure we had fun along the way. A lot of wine tours are only 4 hours and this is one of the few that is 5 so you don't feel rushed at all and get good time at each winery. My friends and I had an awesome time on Moses' wine tour. He was punctual and had the music going as soon as we got in. It put everyone in a good mood. He helped me with my cheese boards platters and my cooler. Our first stop was at Somerset where we got a production tour by John the owner. We had great wine and I was able to set up my cheese boards there. His pours were generous as he explained about the wine he was giving us to taste. We also we to two other wineries. My Husband and I booked this tour due to wanting to visit Temecula and have a wine tasting tour and visit numerous vineyards as it is hard to choose just one as they are all beautiful. We booked a week before and socal wasn't our first choice but other websites were fully booked. The website and description and reviews were all very professional and we chose the "late tour" 2-6pm. This tour is advertised as a wine tasting tour, transport between 3 wineries and samples of wine. I have read reviews about how informative the "tour guides" are and will describe each vineyard and tell you some history about them. This is not a wine tasting tour! We were ushered onto a mini bus and straight away rap music was played very loud whilst other parties sung and danced. It was a 4 minute drive to the first winery (we could have got an Uber and been a lot more comfortable) we were shown to a table with another party, given a glass of something and given a tiny ticket to cross off extra tastings. We were then left to ourselves and did not see the bus driver until he came to pick us up for the 2nd winery. It was a 7 minute drive to the next winery, again having to deal with loud music on the "party bus" and groups of women dancing. I was asked a couple of days prior to order lunch as it would not be available to order on the day and this would be served at the 2nd winery. Ordered cheese and charcuterie board. Bus driver disappeared as soon as dropping us off. Enquired at the winery about lunch and was told they didn't have a restaurant and didn't serve any extras. The only good thing was that I wasn't charged for this, but obviously not impressed as spent the majority of the time wandering around searching for answers and food. Also not a wine "tour" as advertised, but simply dropped and left at basically a bar, as no information or tour is given of the winery or vineyard. The 3rd winery things seemed to pick up when we were told we would be provided with a wine tour and visit of the cellar. This got my hopes up only to be let down again as the man running the tour was not informative, he was catering to mainly women and hen parties making jokes and I still don't know any more about wine than I did when I began the "tour" Once the "tour" was over, we were only given 2 tickets at this place for tastings (not as advertised) and once we tried to get the tastings so we could leave, we were told they had ran out of white wine! I didn't think it could get any worse but for a winery to run out of white wine is unacceptable. My Husband was then forced to ask for red wine which came chilled. I would never book a wine tour through this company again. I was extremely disappointed that it is not clear what you are booking, this cannot be sold as a "wine tour" Even if you were a hen party or big group of women, It may seem like value for money but you would get more value by taking a taxi to a number of bars and just buying some wine and asking the bar staff for suggestions. ** After seeing your reply it is no surprise there have been no reviews on Facebook for a year, the business won one award in 2018 (and hasn't won anything since) and your lack of response to any of the valid points I made shows everyone how unprofessional you are as a business and owner. To elaborate on the rap music, I live in California and often have family and friends visit, I'm just glad we didn't choose this tour to bring my Mum or in laws to as I don't think they would appreciate the lyrics! This is not a wine tour, and if you are mainly catering towards hen parties and a party bus (with no information on wine at all) then maybe you should be honest in your advertisement and website! read more

My group of friends and I wanted to go wine tasting and I was waiting to hear back from another tour company that I had used in the past. Since I didn't get a response, I looked on Yelp to search for another company and here we are. There was four girls in our group and they had questions. I called the company and they answered on the first ring. Breanna answered all of our questions and decided to book online. Bonus: you get a discount when you book online. Upon email confirmation, Breanna noted that it was nice chatting with me, 15/10 in customer service and attention to detail. A week before our tour, Breanna sent a friendly reminder about ordering lunch ahead of time. Another plus because lowkey I had forgotten about ordering lunch. Now, the day of the tour. We were picked up at the CVS parking lot by Moses, the most kind and nice dude. He gave us a quick breakdown of the schedule and then we were off. There were a total of three wineries on the tour, the first stop was the best of the three in terms of wine selection and customer services. Shout to Garret who was very generous with our pours and he actually sold us four bottles of wine (at our first stop). Garret was also very thorough in explaining each wine choice and asked us follow up questions so that he knew which wines we would like. Hence, the 4 bottle purchase. Second stop, we walk in and immediately get seated. Not even 5 minutes later, we received our lunch and were given about an hour and 15 minutes to eat lunch and finish our wine tasting. We got a total of 6 tastings at the second stop. None of the wines really stood out and unlike the first stop, we didn't really get a description of the wine. The lady pouring the wine seemed much more interested in keeping the line moving than actually trying to sell wine. Needless to say, we didn't buy any bottles here. Third and final stop, this place was a little chaotic but it mostly had to do with the majority of the people there being intoxicated already. It was a fun chaos. We got a pour upon our arrival and then a second one while we waiting for our tour. Hunter was our tour guide and took us to a warehouse and poured us wine from the barrel. Then on our way out, we met John the owner who poured us some more wine for the barrel. Then we were taken to the top of a little hill we're we seated and continued with our wine tasting. Hunter was so attentive and nice, 15/10. Overall we had so much fun!!! Moses our sweet driver was able to handle our party of 4 and another party of 3 who became our besties on the tour. Aka the 7 crazy latinas that took over Temecula. Shoutout to SoCal Wine Tours for not only bringing people together but for an overall amazing/ fun experience. Highly recommend for anyone planning a wine tasting party in Temecula! We used Moses Wine Tours for my husband's 30th birthday and were so excited. The bus was on time and clean, and Moses and our driver Sean were friendly and great tour guides. We were greeted with mimosas on pick up, which was super fun. Then we headed out to our first stop Falkner Winery. We got a VIP tasting in a private dining hall in the barrel room. Our guide was hilarious and knowledgeable. Definitely get their Sauvignon Blanc, we loved it so much we sent home a case. Then he went to Bel Vino Winery for a meat and cheese snack on their patio. Great atmosphere with live music, wines were OK. The third stop was Cougar Winery with a Boar's Head Cafe. Lunch was waiting for us when we arrived. I had to look up everyone's lunch orders from my email, but it was all correct and most delicious! Plus they have great views. Our last stop was my favorite! Lorimar Winery has am art gallery, large patio, food trucks and this fun little outdoor area with its own bar. Also great for photo ops with fountain, vines access and wisteria-covered walkway. We booked a private group wine tasting tour with Moses. To say he was awesome is an understatement. He was very sweet, and seemed like he really wanted us to have a good time. My only suggestion would be to possibly end with the Somerset tour instead of begin with it. They were so friendly and funny there, explained how they make wine, how we need to search for our favorite wine, and how to properly hold a wine glass. When we got to the other 2 locations, no one from those wineries explained anything to us. The 2nd location... it was hard to even finish the samples they tasted so bad. We were in a group of 14 and every single person felt the same way. Also, some of the staff there were kind of rude. One person in our group asked someone for a bag, and they told them "You'll have to get in line over there, I'm busy".. with some sort of hand signal. The 3rd location.. the staff and the atmosphere was a little better. But again, no one from the winery explained anything and we had to figure out our own way. I know it seems like I wasn't too thrilled about our tour so why did I give 5 stars? Moses!! Again, he was great, the bus was clean, the driver John was nice, they let us DJ on the ride, and he seemed appreciative of us being a decent group. Would have loved to end on Somerset though! The experience there was amazing... and I think we just were expecting at least a fraction of the same at the other 2 locations. read more

I can not rave enough about how well Moses and his staff (Jessie and Emmanuel) took care of us yesterday. We requested to be picked up at our hotel. They were prompt and very responsive to all our needs. The moment we met Jessie and Emmanuel, you can tell they were just as excited to meet us just as we were. Inside the vehicle you are given water and an iPad to even play your own playlist. At our first stop Emmanuel laid out the ground rules for the wineries and communicated times of picks up. Emmanuel came back around and dropped off individual waters at the table for us to hydrate and cool off. We finally were at our last destination and the views were breathtaking just as Emmanuel described. We were sad to have to end the tour. But here is a big shout out to our driver Jessie and Emmanuel.
