I have nothing but amazing memories at The Canyon Club! Every time I'm in town, it's one of the…read morefirst places I check to see what's happening. This visit was especially fun because I discovered they host Monday night bingo! It took a little convincing to get my friends on board, and since they weren't too excited about getting there right when it started, we arrived late enough to only play the last three games. By the third game, we were completely invested... and then, lo and behold, I won! What?! That was such a fun surprise and definitely made the night even more memorable. The venue has plenty of room to spread out, the setup was very professional, and the host kept everyone entertained with dad jokes between every number. Whether it's a concert, special event, or bingo night, I always have a great time here. We'll definitely be back for another bingo adventure. The Canyon Club continues to be one of my favorite venues, and it never disappoints! Good luck topping that bingo win next time!

We were really looking forward to seeing Reverend Horton Heat, but The Canyon completely…read moreovershadowed what should have been a great night. We spent nearly $400 between reserved tickets, dinner, and drinks because we wanted the full experience. Reserved seating requires dining at the venue, so we expected a comfortable atmosphere and professional service. Instead, the air conditioning wasn't working. The venue never informed guests before seating us or acknowledged it during the evening. We sat through dinner in unbearable heat until we simply couldn't take it anymore. We ended up abandoning the reserved table we paid for and moved into the general admission area just to escape the heat and enjoy the show. While we were dancing, we placed our drinks on an empty chair because there wasn't anywhere else to set them. They accidentally tipped over and spilled. Rather than simply cleaning up the spill, the staff who responded were confrontational and got in my fiancé's face. It was completely unnecessary and incredibly unprofessional over what was obviously an accident. My fiancé went to speak with the manager, and we weren't the only ones. Several other guests were also expressing concerns about both the unbearable conditions and the way staff were treating customers. Unfortunately, the manager couldn't have seemed less interested. There was no apology, no empathy, and no attempt to make anything right. Despite expecting customers to spend significant money on dinner and drinks, they offered absolutely nothing in response to the broken air conditioning, not even complimentary water or a gesture of goodwill. Mechanical issues happen. What separates a good venue from a bad one is how they respond. Unfortunately, The Canyon failed on every level: communication, customer service, and management. I rarely leave one-star reviews, but this experience earned it. We won't be returning, and after reading other reviews when we got home, I wish we had looked into the venue before buying tickets. Hopefully this review helps others avoid making the same mistake we did by choosing this venue. There are plenty of great places to see live music where customers are treated with the respect and professionalism they deserve.

    # Complaint: Unfair Refund Policy at the Eagles I'm writing…read moreto express my disappointment with the Eagles' management decisions regarding my party refund. Despite being told that I would receive my $300 security deposit back if we cleaned the venue thoroughly, the management later refused to return my deposit. The party was called off due to alleged drinking in the parking lot, which we didn't witness. The bartender promised a refund if we cleaned up, the Bar manager Lisa reneged on this promise also stating she would show proof . Stating the bar made, Alice had no right to instruct us that we would get our money back if she had enough pull to call off our party then why not just tell us to leave and not clean up! We stayed almost 2 hours cleaning up! I've since spoken to several people who have had similar experiences with the Eagles, where parties are called off and deposits are kept. In contrast, I've had positive experiences at the Moose, where events are handled with courtesy and respect. # Unfair Treatment of Non-Members The Eagles' policy of turning away non-members in the rudest way!! from the bar area is counterintuitive. By inviting potential members to experience the venue, you can showcase its amenities and build a positive reputation. # Recommendation Based on my experience, I would not recommend hosting a party or becoming a member at the Eagles. The management's unfair refund policy and treatment of non-members are significant concerns. I hope that the Eagles will reconsider their policies and prioritize customer satisfaction. I also would like to add that I wrote a text message to one of the leaders named Tony explaining My complaint never not one return message or call. I then called Lisa back to let her know and her response was you already made the complaint wait for a return call ! Very unprofessional!!!!

It's also the place where Standard meets his ill-fated demise and falls victim of several shotgun shells to the side of the neck and back. While the Cash & Coin Pawn Shop sign in front looked very authentic in the movie, I was quite disappointed that this makeshift Pawn Shop turned out to be the Elks - Santa Clarity Lodge #2379, where Boy Scout meetings are held every Tuesday, BINGO is played every Thursday and Sunday. While I was let down that this place wasn't real like some of the other scenes in the movie, I do believe this brotherhood plays a vital role in small close-knit communities - which Canyon Country is. Another amenity of this Elks Lodge is that free Wi-Fi is available throughout the lodge, patio and RV camping area. In case you were wondering what B.P.O.E. means on all the Elks standard, it's an acronym for The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks. The benefits for being an Elk are discounts on auto and home insurance, discounted vacations, wireless savings, prescription savings, and much more for Elks Members, their families and businesses. Something that may tickle my fancy in another 50 years or so :) So Pawn Shop this not be, B.P.O.E it shall be. Standard: "Well my name is Standard Gabriel." Irene: "Where's the deluxe version?" Most people contribute to a pot luck feast that spans the wide world of food, from hot dogs and chili to baked ziti, tacos, meatballs, fried chicken, Chinese food, and on and on -- including some amazing homemade clam chowder from Mike The Mailman. Bartender Natalie did an amazing job of handling the busy crowd with speed and smiles. There were a couple of other staffers on site to watch the game, and they jumped in when she needed a hand with this or that, but for the most part Natalie captained the bar single-handedly for the duration. Kudos to her. It's true, Super Bowl only comes once a year, so other game days don't have the pot luck feast -- Sugar Mill doesn't have a kitchen, though they're happy to have you bring in whatever food you like and eat it there. Food aside, the crowd and the service are always just what you want, making it the perfect place to relax into at game time as Basketball enters the home stretch and baseball steps up to bat.
