Attended the Henry Kapono concert at this venue. I have not been here since about 2003. I am a…read morelocal. The vibe of the venue is "nostalgic vintage meets a saloon meets rock & roll". Cool photo ops all around. They had a trivia game scrolling over the bar which is always fun. Lots of lounge seating great for smaller groups to drink and chat. That being said there were some things I didn't anticipate and wasn't prepared for: -not enough accessible parking very busy for a Friday night. When I arrived at 6:45pm valet parking was already full -no AC in the venue- two ceiling fans. It was unbelievably hot inside. -seating at the tables near the stage requires dinner service and there were 10 adults seated at an 8 ft table. Just impossible. The tables were end to end. No space to move. I was seated between two men and our shoulders were touching and everyone is trying to eat dinner. I was having a panic attack so my friend got us moved. -the meal was ok and so were the drinks. We had to purchase dinner and 2 drink minimum in addition to the price of the concert ticket. I knew this when I made the purchase but had no idea what the food was going to be like. - my meal was blackened Salmon. Which was good but a very small piece of salmon. The garlic mashed potatoes were ok however my veggies weren't steamed they were too hard. The entree was $42. No salad, bread or dessert option. I think this was very pricey for what I received. Despite what bothered me above. I had a great time after we moved our seats away from the stage and got to finish our meal with some elbow room. There isn't a bad seat in the entire venue so I am not sure why they cramped all the tables like they do. The space allows for lots of walking around so you can visit with friends- which I did. The venue is accessibility friendly. The entertainment was amazing and I have to mention all the staff working that night were very accommodating. They checked on me a few times. The staff Zoe, Ryan and Marco were all so very helpful. Including Robin the sound engineer-he was friendly as well. I will return if another act I want to see is playing at The Canyon Club. Now I know what to expect and can plan accordingly.

Many top-notch…read moreartists have played at the venue, and I have been lucky to see many legendary performers over the years. Before my most recent show, it was a venue I looked forward to visiting. However, it had been a bit of time since I was last at the club and things have changed. Unfortunately, after the show I attended on July 31, I may not be back. Please note that this review is for the venue only, not the show itself. While there is a large parking lot, and parking is free, it was very difficult to find a space. We drove around for about 15 minutes before we were able to see someone leaving a parking space that we could grab. On the day of the concert, the temperature was 100° F outside, or possibly a bit higher. When we arrived at the venue, we found that it does not have refrigerated air conditioning - just some fans. It was uncomfortably hot inside. If I had known this would be the case, I'd have brought a portable personal fan. It's hard to believe that a venue that holds up to 1,200 people does not have legit air conditioning. For those that would like a seat, you have to purchase dinner along with your concert ticket. The dinner selections are very limited and pricey. There is no longer drink service at the tables, so you must head to the bar for drink orders. Since the tables are packed so tightly together, this is not the most convenient situation for patrons. Also, if you use a credit card for your purchases, you will be charged an extra service fee. The bartenders Gus, Zack, and Lindsay were great. They provided friendly service and were a lot of fun. I felt bad that they had to endure the uncomfortable hot working conditions while taking care of everyone. I rarely leave a one-star review. It is really a shame that the club owners don't value their guests and artists to keep the venue comfortable. For the price of tickets, food, and drinks, we really deserve a better experience.

    # Complaint: Unfair Refund Policy at the Eagles I'm writing…read moreto express my disappointment with the Eagles' management decisions regarding my party refund. Despite being told that I would receive my $300 security deposit back if we cleaned the venue thoroughly, the management later refused to return my deposit. The party was called off due to alleged drinking in the parking lot, which we didn't witness. The bartender promised a refund if we cleaned up, the Bar manager Lisa reneged on this promise also stating she would show proof . Stating the bar made, Alice had no right to instruct us that we would get our money back if she had enough pull to call off our party then why not just tell us to leave and not clean up! We stayed almost 2 hours cleaning up! I've since spoken to several people who have had similar experiences with the Eagles, where parties are called off and deposits are kept. In contrast, I've had positive experiences at the Moose, where events are handled with courtesy and respect. # Unfair Treatment of Non-Members The Eagles' policy of turning away non-members in the rudest way!! from the bar area is counterintuitive. By inviting potential members to experience the venue, you can showcase its amenities and build a positive reputation. # Recommendation Based on my experience, I would not recommend hosting a party or becoming a member at the Eagles. The management's unfair refund policy and treatment of non-members are significant concerns. I hope that the Eagles will reconsider their policies and prioritize customer satisfaction. I also would like to add that I wrote a text message to one of the leaders named Tony explaining My complaint never not one return message or call. I then called Lisa back to let her know and her response was you already made the complaint wait for a return call ! Very unprofessional!!!!

Genuinely good people. One of the bartenders even ended up being my roommate for a time (and we would dance together in the living room). It was a hard time in my life when I first went there and I've grown and become, hopefully, a much better person just from experiencing the wonderful friends I've met. I could tell so many stories, but my point is simply this: This is THE BEST bar I have ever been to in my entire life and I cannot say enough good things about it and the people who run it, the regulars, bartenders, etc. Just genuinely awesome people. Even just the other day, a couple came in and they hadn't been there before, and we were just talking and they said "This is such a nice place." It's like Cheers. I walk in the door and end up hugging like everyone before I even get my name on the pool table (they also have a really nice pool table. I've been playing for years now as a result.) The owners Big J and Dave are awesome... I'm kind of overflowing with compliments here but it's just... it's the best place. If I had to choose what I was going to do with my night, my day, whatever, just getting out, it would be The Garage. Absolutely awesome. (I'm honestly just disappointed with myself that I didn't give them a Yelp review sooner. I cannot recommend this place enough. 5 stars just doesn't cut it).

It's also the place where Standard meets his ill-fated demise and falls victim of several shotgun shells to the side of the neck and back. While the Cash & Coin Pawn Shop sign in front looked very authentic in the movie, I was quite disappointed that this makeshift Pawn Shop turned out to be the Elks - Santa Clarity Lodge #2379, where Boy Scout meetings are held every Tuesday, BINGO is played every Thursday and Sunday. While I was let down that this place wasn't real like some of the other scenes in the movie, I do believe this brotherhood plays a vital role in small close-knit communities - which Canyon Country is. Another amenity of this Elks Lodge is that free Wi-Fi is available throughout the lodge, patio and RV camping area. In case you were wondering what B.P.O.E. means on all the Elks standard, it's an acronym for The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks. The benefits for being an Elk are discounts on auto and home insurance, discounted vacations, wireless savings, prescription savings, and much more for Elks Members, their families and businesses. Something that may tickle my fancy in another 50 years or so :) So Pawn Shop this not be, B.P.O.E it shall be. Standard: "Well my name is Standard Gabriel." Irene: "Where's the deluxe version?"
