Red wine flight. You can choose red, rose, or white.
    Zsanae K.

I love this winery! Everyone that has helped us has been so sweet. I'm a red wine kind of gal. Their reds are delish and I like the rose. Theres white wines too. I highly recommend! It's located in an alley (town square) with other shops and a brewery. It's a great destination place.

    Customized wine flight

Such a cute place. I got a customized wine tasting flight and loved every recommendation. Would definitely return to this cute spot.

Again what a disappointment! Girlfriend got the white flight and not one of them tasted good. In fact she got nauseated towards the end that she ended up switching to beer. 21$ for a unpalatable white flight. Looking at people in the alleyway and i saw maybe one person drinking wine and girlfriend said that the inside of Lucas Sellers was empty! I really want to support a local winery but not if this is what they offer!

    Loved the sign

There is wine tasting In Moorpark! And across the way is Enegren's Brewery. However, this wine tasting room is pretty spacious and decorated beautifully. There is small tasting list but these lovely wines are not to disappoint. The Malbec was my favorite. And if your hungry there is a food truck with delicious options. I hope to revisit this family friendly winery soon.

    Full pour??

Grand opening...not impressed. Wife and friends tasted the wines and had nothing good to say, but we believe in supporting local businesses so we purchased a glass of wine. Everyone at the table asked if I had purchased a tasting. I said no I paid $12 for a glass of really bad sour wine. We did take the wine back up and asked if it was a full pour and they said yes, but it was a half pour at the most. Very disappointing. Go to Enegren brewery instead, highly recommended...!!

Cool vibe and plenty of room to hang out!

What a great spot! We have been going to Enegren for years and love that they paired up with Lucas Sellers on the joint outdoor space. The winery is super cozy and relaxing but also spacious... enough for us to bring our baby and have our own couch to hang out on. Not too busy, but busy enough. The owner also talked to us for a bit and was very friendly without being annoying. The live music outside was a nice touch too. Cool place and we will definitely be back!

Great location, but the wine is pretty bad. Most of their varietals are bitter and full of sentiment. I hope they step it up at some point.

This place is great. In the same alley as Enegren. Nice places inside to sit and enjoy the wine. Haven't had anything bad yet.

Much to my surprise, it was about as lively as I had remembered it. The Alley was established during Covid times and offered a retreat to escape from the humdrum of the homestead. These days, its friendly vibe welcomes neighbors and visitors with a backyard setting strewn with twinkle lights and family-style tables. It's a causal scene and easy to soak in the live music, sunlight/moonlight, and neighborly banter. The layout resembles an alley with shops on either side, big open doors invite you to grab something to eat, sample a drink, or shop for handmade gifts. On one side, you've got craft brews and coffee roasters. On the other side, it's local wines and piping hot pizzas. Dogs are welcome all around. At the center of it all, there's live music on the weekends. Modeled after a Beer & Wine Garden concept, The Alley features Enegren Brewery (beer), Lucas Sellers (wine), California Coffee Republic (java), Fire & Vice (pizza), and The Craft House (non-alcoholic tchotchkes). As a self-proclaimed wino, I opted for a sampling of the Lucas Sellers Wines. Ashley, who was behind the bar and top of the pours, gave me good suggestions and offered anecdotes about each wine on tap. At the end of the night, my light pinot paired perfectly with the Mushroom Arugula pizza from Fire & Vice. And I felt right at home, surrounded by friends.

Our group genuinely wanted to support this local business and enjoy an evening together. We were actively purchasing wine and bottles, but throughout the evening, we felt increasingly unwelcome. We were each told by Melanie that an additional gratuity fee would be added because our group was considered "large," even though this was never communicated to us beforehand. We were also given the impression that our group needed to be finished and out by 6 PM, despite the business being scheduled to remain open until 10 PM. No time limit was communicated to us when we arrived. Additionally, some members of our group were charged regular prices rather than the advertised happy hour prices, which added to the frustration and confusion surrounding the evening. While we were never directly told to leave, the way the situation was handled by Melanie made us feel pressured to do so. We would have happily stayed and continued purchasing drinks, but once we felt that our presence was no longer wanted, we decided it was best to leave. What was especially disappointing was that the business was not particularly busy that evening, and our group was not preventing other customers from being seated or interfering with business. This made the experience difficult to understand and left us feeling singled out. I understand that businesses may have policies regarding larger groups, but those policies should be communicated clearly and upfront. Unfortunately, the way this was handled felt unprofessional and left a very negative impression on our group. We genuinely wanted to enjoy and support this local wine bar, but based on our experience, I would not recommend it. Will not be returning.

The winery itself is beautiful with stunning views. There are plenty of photo-op-worthy places as well. The pizza was expensive but the quality was great and there were enough slices to go around for 4 girls. The white wine called honey pie was my favorite (I am not very knowledgeable about wine, so just keep that in mind) Overall, I think this place was okay. would try this place again but maybe during the cooler seasons.

Customer service was still great, but I noticed a few changes that took away from the experience for us personally. I do like that the tastings are no longer in the plastic tubes, although the tubes did feel like they held a little more wine. What we didn't enjoy was that when multiple people ordered the same tastings, they were placed into the same shared glass/container. In our party of four, three of us had the same six tastings and had to share. I appreciated the bow on the glass showing the pours, but I preferred the previous setup where everyone had their own individual tastings. It may seem small, and thankfully our group was fine sharing, but it made the experience feel less personal and honestly made us less interested in doing tastings again on future visits. Some people also may not feel comfortable sharing containers or touching the same glass. Nothing terrible at all, just some feedback from longtime visitors who loved how it used to be. On this visit we actually ended up ordering a bottle afterward instead, and moving forward we'll probably just continue doing that rather than the tastings.
