    # Complaint: Unfair Refund Policy at the Eagles I'm writing…read moreto express my disappointment with the Eagles' management decisions regarding my party refund. Despite being told that I would receive my $300 security deposit back if we cleaned the venue thoroughly, the management later refused to return my deposit. The party was called off due to alleged drinking in the parking lot, which we didn't witness. The bartender promised a refund if we cleaned up, the Bar manager Lisa reneged on this promise also stating she would show proof . Stating the bar made, Alice had no right to instruct us that we would get our money back if she had enough pull to call off our party then why not just tell us to leave and not clean up! We stayed almost 2 hours cleaning up! I've since spoken to several people who have had similar experiences with the Eagles, where parties are called off and deposits are kept. In contrast, I've had positive experiences at the Moose, where events are handled with courtesy and respect. # Unfair Treatment of Non-Members The Eagles' policy of turning away non-members in the rudest way!! from the bar area is counterintuitive. By inviting potential members to experience the venue, you can showcase its amenities and build a positive reputation. # Recommendation Based on my experience, I would not recommend hosting a party or becoming a member at the Eagles. The management's unfair refund policy and treatment of non-members are significant concerns. I hope that the Eagles will reconsider their policies and prioritize customer satisfaction. I also would like to add that I wrote a text message to one of the leaders named Tony explaining My complaint never not one return message or call. I then called Lisa back to let her know and her response was you already made the complaint wait for a return call ! Very unprofessional!!!!

The bartender was awesome. We had a cook, DJ and a decorator that came in a set up the place really nice. If I get a chance I will find some pictures so I can post them up. We had about 90 people there with chairs and tables and enough room for dancing.

I've lived here 3 years: Although my home is bright & spacious & the grounds are lovely w/…read moremajority of friendly neighbors; The young woman, Angoli, in the front office is a vast improvement to her predecessor, Angoli is friendly & does her best to be of help. The problem is the board: They are less than friendly/helpful & now want to update their Community Rules/Bylaws to include on demand inspection of our garages & patios, which are Private Property. Yet they refuse to do anything about animals that bite or underaged tenants. They are nasty about weeds in the alley and I've been fined for two different infractions, which they piggy-backed into one, stating non-compliance: they sent 2 different letters with 2 different photos within 1 month of each other, claiming it was the same infraction... All the while refusing to take care of a HOA slowly falling tree in front of my property ( 4-6 months), they finally cut it back, because they didn't want to spend the money on two tree stakes to support it (what are my HOA dues for if not landscaping upkeep). The HOA promised to repair our sidewalks, which 3 years on, still have large cracks & holes in them, but had no problem $$$$ updating the facility kitchen, painting the interior of one of the community rooms, & renewing the contract for the worst wi-fi ever. The HOA spent thousands of $$$ on pool & deck repairs, that were done incorrectly & had to be completely redone, which closed the pool/spa area for much longer than necessary. The HOA hired the worst company to paint our units & it took over a month to get the painters back out here to fix the problems, the eaves/flashing have never been sanded & repainted, just painted over the uneven surfaces. Now, we've been informed that we have no choice but to allow, their preferred wi-fi provider access to our private attics in order to install wi-fi cables, even though most of us do not use the HOA's provider. The HOA also approve the use poison on their golf course & lawns: the bags stated a Prop 65 warning Cadmium, which causes cancer: When HOA was approached with the facts, they denied the use of poison; too many people have dogs that walk on those lawns.... When I inquired about the basic blueprints for the original plumbing/gas lines, I was told they don't have them so I needed to go to the County/City to get them. There was noise from the board wanting to close our main community lounge to the weekly Yoga & Tai Chi classes (stating that it made it difficult for the occasional resident to walk through, read, work a puzzle without being bothered by us): we had to write letters reminding the HOA that our monthly HOA fees pay for use of that lounge and giving preference to 1-2 people over a group of 10-15 made no sense.... Other than our petty tyrants on the Board, I like living here, but the HOA seriously needs to stay out of our privately owned areas & concentrate on taking care of the glaring problems on their property that effects the over all community, rather than ignoring them.

Every exhibit actually keeps them engaged not just looking, but doing. The interactive tables (like the spinning drum and dice games) were a hit. My kids didn't want to leave and kept going back to the same stations. It's also really clean, organized, and easy to navigate even with little ones. Pricing was reasonable for what you get abbout $25 for adults, $20 for kids, and under 2 is free, which is nice. Staff was friendly and everything felt well-maintained. You can tell they designed this place with kids in mind but adults still have fun too. Definitely a solid family day trip spot from LA. Would come back again

The lactation pod was super loud and not a great place to pump, luckily had the sensory cave. Their infant and toddler room is for walkers only because they don't close it off and make people take their shoes off so definitely not okay for babies like they claim who need a clean environment. Also very little toys. Better if you can already climb and walk. Expensive! They have a 90 mile rule for using reciprocal kids museums and Pasadena's Kidspace is 89 miles away. $25 an adult is not worth it for the parents of a non crawler.
