But the food here was equally good to everything else. The angry meatball is their thing....i am not into meatballs...but was told I HAD to at least see it. Well, that alone, is reason to return. The thin cheese pizza was deliciously simple. The guac outstanding. The Beverly Hills martini was perfection. And the service.....cherry on top. Our waiter was professional, pleasant, and patient. And get this: After we had paid (and admittedly, had not paid attention) one of the managers, Liz, came by to explain and apologize that they had noticed we overpaid by almost $100 due to an error in closing out another table. She asked for our information and assured us we would be refunded within a few days and gave us her card. I mean...we had paid! We hadn't noticed. She came to us. How impressive is that? Live music on the inside. An upscale and chill vibe in Coral Gables. I went on the lighter side with a local brew, La Tropical from Wynwood, Miami and an Americana wedge salad -- herbed ranch dressing, blue cheese, slow-roasted tomatoes, and bacon. Perfect before enjoying the rooftop pool. The rest of the party enjoyed a Brunch Burger, Eggs Benedict, Open Face salmon bagel while the kiddos indulged themselves with a wood stone oven cheese pizza. This will be an unforgettable, cherished memory. Cheers.

They make it easy to get reservations online and were even able to be seated earlier. The service is amazing. For dinner, we had on our reservation that it was our anniversary. Usually restaurants don't do anything but they surprised us with a free champagne toast. How nice. They were very kind. For dinner, we split the Mediterranean salad, which they were nice enough to split for us, along with margarita pizza. Everything was amazing. For breakfast, we enjoyed the fruit, healthy start meal, and pork bowl. The vibes here are nice and you can sit outside, which we did both times. Usually hotel restaurants are just so so. But I highly recommend this one.

Instead, I was told they only serve bottled Evian, and when I asked for tap water, the waitress said they do not serve it because it is "dangerous to drink." It's an absurd money grab, every restaurant at least provides tap or filtered water free of charge. If the water is so unsafe, how are their dishes washed and produce for food rinsed? The service was equally disappointing. The waitress was condescending throughout the visit. When we asked whether gratuity was included, she said there was a 20% service charge, but when we clarified if that was her tip, she responded in a rude and dismissive way implying that it wasn't which is another absolutely absurd point. Poor service and an unpleasant experience overall. We won't be returning. Cocktails were mediocre. So many better places in the Gables.

The service was exceptional and all the servers were attentive, constantly providing water which is a plus! We ordered the chorizo and blood sausage morcilla for an appetizer. I was skeptical about the blood sausage but WOW, it was delicious. The house bread, not pictured, was so good. It was served with a blue cheese spread. They offer bread service, but I was taken aback when the dipping sauce was a blue cheese spread and not butter. It was quite interesting tasting, but not terrible either (I just wish they told us before I got the flavor shock). The service was very attentive and our food came out promptly. We also tried their tortellini Aurora pasta dish which was very good. The only thing I probably wouldn't order again would be the mushroom dip. It was just so much food and so heavy/greasy. Maybe if we had a large group of 4 people to share it would make sense, but just for two people I would rather have gotten something else.

We started with the charcuterie, which was such a fresh and unique take on a classic appetizer. You get to choose your own meats and cheeses, and it's served with truffle honey, pickles, bread, prunes, and Marcona almonds -- every bite was incredible. For my entrée, I ordered the churrasco. I usually go with medium rare, but this time I took our waitress's recommendation and ordered it medium. It was, without exaggeration, one of the best steaks I've ever had. It came with garlic purée, grilled onion, Maldon salt, and the most flavorful chimichurri. My husband had the t-bone and also enjoyed it. As a side, the French onion mashed potatoes are an absolute must. They were unreal. To finish, we had the lemon blueberry cheesecake with pistachio ice cream, and it was the perfect ending to the meal. Everything tasted fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and absolutely delicious. A special shoutout to our waitress, Cat, who was outstanding. She took the time to walk us through the menu, answered every question, and never made us feel rushed. You could genuinely tell she loves what she does, and it made the experience even better. I already can't wait to go back.

Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor, with a clear attention to detail in both ingredients and execution. Overall, it's the kind of place you leave already thinking about when you'll come back. Highly recommend.
