    Tosti-esquites corn, mexican cheese

Nice Mexican venue, comfy tables, great service. The tacos are big and tasty, keeping the real Mexican flavors, they have a very good salsa bar, with cheese options, vegetables, limes and salsas. The tosti-esquites are bland, also they need some chilly powder like piquin. Next time I will try Mexican sandwiches (tortas)

My fiancé and I decided to try Dona Leonor after having seen it getting ready to open for months. Located right on Coral Gables iconic Miracle Mile this place is just getting started. Situated right next to Maiz y Agave, this restaurant is actually an off-shoot of it. The inside of the restaurant is actually pretty cool. Mexican music plays inside mimicking a traditional experience. The tables and walls are decorated with ornate flower designs. Now for the food, we opted for the Quesabirria and some Mexican breads. The Quesabirria was bomb! The flavor was out of this world. There was an amazing amount of cheese and meat stuffed into the tortilla. The Consommé was delicious. The pastries were a little lacking unfortunately. The concha was very grainy. What really sold us, was the Horchata! WOW!!! What amazing horchata, which is super hard to find in Miami. Our waiter, Danny, was very helpful in making the experience so much better. Overall though, this was a very nice surprise for a place I'm sure can become a really cool spot in Coral Gables. Go on out and check it out! And until next time folks! Enjoy the meal!!!

We probably had 3 different servers, I loved how they all worked together. They were all friendly and polite; Alegra was the one we talked to the most, she was terrific. On to the food, we loved it! We had a Morrocan Spice Avo Toast with a poached egg, it was delicious!! Had to take half home. We also ordered Pope Benedict and WOW was it good. The hash browns were crispy, the eggs were perfect and the cauliflower purée delicious. I wanted there to be more of it! We also had a perfectly made latte served in a glass who I love and a calming refresher, so good. If you haven't been, do yourself a favor and go! Can't wait to go back and try other things.

Everything comes out quickly, but still tastes like it's made with care rather than rushed. The atmosphere is relaxed and casual, making it a perfect place to grab a quick lunch or an easy dinner without spending a lot. Overall, it's a reliable go-to.

It is a lovely patio to sit out on and I love the decor touches and the overall vibe. The service tends to always be slow but the servers are all friendly. Don't head out here if you are starving. The pigs in a blanket are quite tasty as are the latkes. The lox there is spot on and one of the few places I'll get lox. The tower is quite beautiful as well. Everything here is expensive, but well done. A winning spot for a leisurely brunch on a beautiful day.

What's the deal with breakfast places that don't believe in breakfast?…read more The restaurant looks great. Beautiful lighting, stylish design, gorgeous bathrooms. You walk in and think, Wow, this place has it together. That feeling lasts until you sit down. It took about 10 minutes for the waiter to greet us. Not busy ignoring us--just slowly realizing we existed. No water. No hello. Just eye contact from across the room like, I'll get to you eventually. I order French toast. Very simple. A classic. Bread. Heat. That's it. I get my omelette--poorly prepared--and a latke that somehow managed to be raw in the middle. Not undercooked. Raw. Like the potato was still considering a career change. I finish my entire meal. Table is completely empty. Done. Finished. Closure. And then... the French toast arrives. Now here's where it gets interesting. I say, "Oh, I think this was forgotten." And the waiter says, "No, that's dessert." Dessert. At breakfast. Who is ordering dessert for breakfast? What kind of confidence do you need to say that out loud? And if it's dessert, why wasn't it suggested as dessert? Why wasn't the table cleared? Why does it feel like the French toast just wandered out here on its own? Then we argue about it. I don't want to argue about French toast. That's not where I thought my day was headed. This place feels like a design firm said, "Let's absolutely nail the vibe... and then just see what happens with the food." Save your money. Save your time. If you want ambiance, go in, admire the lighting, use the bathroom, and leave. If you want breakfast, go somewhere that agrees with the concept of breakfast. Because right now, Sadelle's is serving confusion--with a side of toast.

Service is quick and friendly, and the vibe is relaxed enough to grab a beer at the bar or sit down for a full meal. The starters were crispy and flavorful, and the brunch sandwiches on brioche are a standout. One thing to note: most of the fried items (like wings, fries, and potatoes) are cooked in vegetable oil, so if you're someone who prefers alternatives or avoids seed oils, just keep that in mind when ordering. Overall, it's a great neighborhood spot with fair prices, cold beer, and plenty of options for any mood.
