Do yourself a favor and DO NOT HIRE TemPros Air Conditioning & Heating, Inc. I contacted them because the motor of my condenser had broken. My air conditioner is still under a manufacturer's parts warranty. The technician gave me a quote for the labor that was considerably higher than the previous two quotes I had received. He asked me what my previous two quotes had been and I told him. He then lowered his quote but it was still $25.00 higher than one of the two previous quotes that I received. I told the technician that I would like to get a photocopy of the receipt that the distributor gives him when he turns in my broken motor for a new one. The importance of that is that it is the only source document that tells the customer that she is getting the motor that is under warranty and not a cheap, refurbished piece of junk. It is a common practice for air conditioner repairmen to install cheap, refurbished motors and get the warranty motor from the distributor to keep for themselves ot sell to a customer. The technician gave me the excuse that he would pick up the new motor first and come to my house to install it and, then, he would take the broken motor back to the distributor. I told him that it would be the same number of trips just in a different order if he did it the correct way, which would be to take the broken motor and get the new motor, then, he would not have to buy it on credit and have his money returned to him once he turned in the broken motor. More importantly, he would be able to give me a photocopy of the receipt. He said that he would have to ask his boss. Some time later, his boss calls me and tells me that the receipt was his and that he did not want to give me a photocopy of it. The bosses statement is incorrect. I am the owner of the warranty and even though the technician is supposed to pick up the part at the distributor's warehouse. But, I, as the owner of the warranty, have the right to obtain a photocopy of the receipt and I would not do business with an air conditioner repair business that is not willing to provide me a photocopy of the receipt. Refusing to provide the customer with a photocopy of the receipt is very suspect and should raise red flags for the consumer to stay away from the air conditioner repair shop in question. Consequently, I highly recommend that you stay away from TemPros Air Conditioning & Heating, Inc. It will save you from grief. read more

Absolutely great service through and through. From the first initial call, Jody took my information and as promised there was a technician at my house the very next day. About 30 minutes before the tech was due to get to my house he called fo i firm me it be another 45 minutes, which is unheard of these days usually other companies of any kind of business don't give a courtesy call. The tech arrives and i swear in like 15 or 20 minutes he was done, I had a/c again! The tech was great, he explained everything to me and was very professional. My A/C unit stopped blowing cold air and the coils kept freezing. I never did business with Jody before but came highly recommended by another family member. I called him and he picked up right away and told me he'll be here in 30 minutes. Right then and there, I already knew this is gonna be my designated A/C guy. He told me right off the bat what he suspected to be the problem and after thorough inspection, it was indeed an issue with the blower motor and transformer. He ordered the parts and went to get them as soon as possible to fix the problem especially with it being sunny/hot outside. I appreciated how he took the time to explain to me what the problem was and how each part works and tips to avoid having other issues in the future. He also shared advise on things not to have near the a/c unit and water heater that are hazardous and possibly risks to avoid. He was very thorough and you can tell he knew his stuff. He also followed Covid safety precautions and wore the mask the entire time despite it being hot and harder to breathe. For these kind of situations, you need some who has a sense of urgency, reliable, experienced, and of course, someone with reasonable pricing.
