My gel nails always chip in a matter of days. In the first week, I always expect them to chip sadly. I gave this place multiple chances, but it just is not worth it for the quality. Very overpriced compared to the customer experience. I would assume this would be on the cheaper end of nail salons, but I guess not. Also, one lady here seemed to get frustrated with me over them not having a color option? I was kindly asking questions and trying to explain myself repeatedly. I stated that I do NOT need the exact color, just something SIMILAR or something that MATCHES. Kept saying I don't know over and over again, I'm assuming professionals would know more than I do about color matching but okay. I ended up picking a random color in a frenzy. I have came here a couple times and they are nice and All but lately they haven't been doing nails where they could last at least 3 weeks or so and they're over priced for the quality they do.. so I went in with my mom in law and now I'm noticing more and more details that makes me not want to go back to this place. First, my index finger is crooked. Second, I showered this morning and my hair is getting stuck on my Nails!!! Third, the nails are lifting up so quickly from the cuticle. 4th the man did such a messy job from dry/wet gel under my nail and on my finger tips I had to get home and file my finger tips and drill under my nail myself. I got my nails done this past Saturday 08/19/2023. Todays date 08/24/2023. That is only 7 days and to have all these details is not satisfying!!! I spent over $100 plus $10 tip each nail lady. Also the guy that did my nails was doing my nails so quickly he was hurting my nail bed s couple times with the nail drill I had to tell him...I am very disappointed!! I will never come Back here again what a waste of money or even bother to come back for them to "fix" it they should already done a better job to begin with the amount they charged me!! read more

Rude! Do not go here. As soon as I walked in they yelled at me to sit! I tried to be nice so I sat down near the chairs at the front and then they yelled again for me to sit again in another area. They yelled a few times that I couldn't ignore their rudeness and told her I didn't appreciate her yelling at me to sit. So instead of acknowledging she instead said she wouldn't do my nails. Up until today I never really had any complaints. I came in and asked for Kim but she easnt there. The lady who did my toes had an appointment walk in right after I sat down so I think she was in a hurry. She did a really half ass job on everything. Barely scrubbed my feet, gave a 2 second "massage". Also, I have very thin toenails so I asked for extra coats and she did give me one extra but afterwards my toenails felt really jagged and sharp. The other lady said she couldnt do the nail design I wanted for my hands. It was literally a basic fill. Then after my toes I asked if she could do a manicure, she turned me down. These thieves!! Overwhelmed by the $63 charge for a fill and a broken nail, I left my phone in the shop chair. When My husband called the shop not even 20 mins later and asked if they seen a phone and they said no, but I saw it moving on the 78 freeway! So when I tracked it down to San Marcos, California Why did The girl who did my nails open the door.. as if she didn't know why I was there with my hair now tied up in a bun. Her other coworker who was also there 2/3 comes out and hands me My iphone as they talked shit to me and lied as if I was in the wrong. Now why did they try and steal my iPhone?? Why did they not leave it at the shop with the rest of the equipment?? Why did they not call back the number like hey actually we did find a phone. Because they are clearly broke, fraud and steal on a regular but obviously not in a smart way. They probably stealing card info too! Luckily I paid cash. Imagine if I was a old lady who is not tech savi to track my belongings.. They are lucky I didn't beat all 3 of they ass as intended because why would they even do that to me? Got there around 1:30 on a Sunday wasn't busy at all asked for basic prices and then started the process my little sister(5) just got gel on her fingers and that's the only reason I'm giving 2 stars the guy was super sweet with her and was talking to her at the end she loved her experience of getting something done at the nail salon for the first time. Now to my part I asked for a basic acrylic French tip medium length square. At the beginning it was normal already treating my hands a little rough but I could take it. A little later then 2 ladies came in and asked if they had time for two pedicures and I have no idea the name of the lady who was doing my nails although it seemed as she was the owner tho said if they could wait 15 minutes and if they needed to run any errands now would be the time. They said yes and left to them come back this is we're it went down hill. Before she could ask me the length of my nails she had already decided for me. I decided to just go with it. She began to run the process extremely fast she began to file my nails and it hurt so bad I was debating leaving the chair. She told me multiple times to calm my hands down and began to get frustrated with me but believe me I was trying the Pain was just so bad. To the point we're I kinda awkwardly laughed and said "haha yeah it's cause it's hurting a little" after that I felt she only went harder at this point she had not tried making conversation at all and totally fine but it was just awkward and I just felt like a burden Which shouldn't happen when your paying for a service. read more

I walked out once and decided to try once more. I was given to a different technician who cut me and hurt me twice. She burned me while removing the gel and then cut me while doing the manicure. Im really annoyed with how they run things here. I came in last night, I guess a little too close to closing so I got turned away. I understood but i really needed to get my nails done so i asked the owner/manager if i could make an appointment for the next day/today at 10am. I was assured I would be getting my nails done at that time today. Well i came in and i guess because she wasn't there today, i "didn't have an appointment"???? An appointment is an appointment. i didn't mean with her, i just meant with her shop. I got turned away from my appointment because of miscommunication within the shop or something? That's fine. Stuff happens. However, I've been coming here for YEARS, like since my mom would bring me when i was a kid. The service wasn't the greatest but my mom and I are loyal customers. But after this I won't be coming back at all. The whole point of making an appointment somewhere is to be able to walk in, not wait, not get turned away, but be helped immediately. Prioritized over walk-ins, even. If a business can't hold themselves to that standard then it's not a place i have time or interest to spend my money at. Awful Awful Experience. Stay far away from this salon. I had my nails done a week ago, and I did not realize they left tons of acrylic under my nails and the nails were splitting. They have a sign on the front that says they will fix their mistakes. I sat down with David and explained this. He says ok, does not tell me there's a charge, or what it is. When I went to leave the lady working there, said David does not speak good english and did not understand. They both got extremely irate and threatened to call the police on me for not paying. I felt in danger at this salon. Extremely rude employees. Asked for name and number of owner. They provided two different names on two different calls and would not provide a phone number. Very shady practices. I will be lodging a complaint and disputing all charges from this fraudulent business. Went back in and tried to find out owners first name as he did not call me as requested and rude lady inside refused to give it and said she was frustrated by me. When I asked David to remove the nails and give me a refund as offered earlier and he sat on his phone and pretended not to here me. He told me to wait 15 minutes, but would not tell me whom I was waiting for. Apparently none of them speak english well and they have a sign that they follow only for the no refunds portion, but they will not stand behind their work or fix it as the sign says. Tip: Make appt for faster service! Not sure why the negative reviews. I Yelped this business and thought I'd give them a try. Called at 1040am and made appt for 1115. Niece and I came in for manicures and pedicures. Greeted right when we walked in. Snow was very accommodating and kept us posted on our time so we could keep track (had errands to run before airport!) They work fast and had steady stream of customers but did not rush us. Noticed they had several regulars while we were there. Definitely will come back! Snow did great job on my nails and Ann did a great European Spa pedicure. I found my new place! read more

I just got my nails done here and got coffin tip with Kim. No issues until she told me to wash my hands and my middle ring fingernails were noticeably shorter than the rest. I asked her if she could make it longer to match the rest of my nails, (which all looked fine) and she said no she did it right. I showed her the clear difference between the nails and she BLEW UP at me. I was shocked because NEVER in my life have I had anyone yell at me and raise their voice at me like she just did. I had to ask her 4 separate times "can you please stop yelling at me?" Can you lower your voice?" "Can you not speak to me like that and have a discussion?" "Can you match my volume please?" Because all I wanted in the end was an answer to my question! She was being Extremely rude and argumentative about it. She said I would have to take the nail off and do a new one (which I was willing to pay for if that's what it took to get what I asked for) so I said okay can we do that? And she said no she can't do anything. Confused? Me too. So I told her, you just told me you could redo the nail? And again, extremely combative and rude. At that point i was getting irritated so I said okay just finish. She gave me an attitude and rolled her eyes at me the remainder of the time. I've only been here once before and I also got coffin nails which came out with no issues. This was my second and last time. Also to note: it is illegal to not show your license per California state board and she took it down to avoid me seeing who she was. Shady practice. All in all, I recommend not going here. It's literally only $2 more if you go anywhere else and they care about doing a good job! Beware of this location and the manager/owner Kim! If you were there then you would NOT say her voice was "slightly raised" I had to ask her to stop yelling at me, why would I do that to someone whose voice was slightly raised? I thought I would give this place another shot, and I have came back three times since my spa pedicure and I don't think I'll ever come back. The SECOND time I came back I got a fill by **Mary** which I liked and I also bumped into an old coworker who highly recommends this place which was a cool testimonial. Mary did a good job overall so not bad. The THIRD time I came I was helped by **Jenny** whom was down to earth and a total SWEETIE! I was debating about removing my fill which was pretty much just overlay powder left and she said no that it's best not to remove because it would damage my nail bed and she just sanded it down the best she could and did a manicure over. She understood how I wanted my nails to breathe and didn't want powder anymore. She shaped and painted my manicure well I was satisfied. It was cool how she didn't hustle a sale so I TIPPED her 100% of what I paid for, like a high roller! haha.~ The FOURTH time I came by about 2 weeks ago and Jenny wasn't there so I was assisted by another lady whose name I think was **Tiffany**. I explained to her what I wanted done which was just a manicure (I was adamant told her I did not want a fill or gel) and she was super aggressive on up-selling me. She said I should either get my fill overlay removed for $30 which includes gel manicure or get a fill and gel manicure.. both which would equal this same price.. and BOTH of which I told her I did not want to begin with. I told her I wanted to listen to Jenny and not remove it to avoid damage and I did not want a powder fill, nor gel. She then got backed up by **Mary and Mary's husband**.. both nail techs.. and they were like "why do you not want gel, it's so much better, blabla" I felt forced and outnumbered as they were speaking Vietnamese the whole time so I listened. I had to get my fill removed in order to get the gel manicure because I did not want any more powder. The nail tech ripped off my overlay.. so damaging, and placed a gel manicure on top. She messed up on my gel manicure with a red splotch on my white nail polish, I showed her the nail, and she was like "Please sympathize with me it's too late now to fix" etc. I tipped her 50%.. uMmMm what was I thinking? o.O In the END I will not return here. They made me feel uncomfortable and the staff here were not listening to my request. I should have never gotten anything done, nor tipped my last manicurist so much. My gel manicure is pointless, my nails are brittle and broken, and I had to cut it short last week. #sadday read more
