Nothing special about this place. Its next to Subway in the mall. I went mid-day and it was pretty empty, so I was able to get right in. No big up-sell. They asked what I wanted (they had a menu) and I just got a plain spa pedicure. $19 + tip. Didn't seem especially clean in there, hence the 4 stars and not 5 but she did a good job and it was quick! This is a nice budget friendly place to get your nails done. Nothing real fancy but solid service. For $24 you can get a basic mani pedi--excellent deal! The place is clean with no long waits (I went during morning hours) and my nails look decent. Callus removal and nail designs are an upcharge, pretty standard for most mail spots. Main complaint is that the nail polish brands and color options need an upgrade. My nails did not last nearly as long as with manicures doen with quality polish. Definitely do not go in 1 hr or less before closing! I called ahead of time knowing my mom and I were going to be there late and they said they could still take us in. Took my mom for her birthday. Asked for a pedicure and manicure for her and pedicure for me. They rushed through our pedi amd mani and kept saying talking to each other in Viet upset they were the last 2 in the place. I had asked for callus treatment and lady quickly scrubbed my feet and didn't remove the calluses well. Some of my mom's nails from her mani were different size, seems like they were not filed that well. Very disappointed with the service, seemed like they were trying to rush us out of the business because they wanted to go home. They appeared serious and kept glancing at the clock. Worst customer service I've ever had, so I had gotten my nails done on Thursday and one of them broke the next day. I went to get it fixed and the lady who originally did them wasn't there so they questioned if I even went there.. since I recognized one of the workers that was there yesterday a man Went ahead and fixed but wanted to put a color that didn't match, want to leave it without color and told me to come back tomorrow so the original lady can do them for me. I told them I can help find the color for them. They started giving me attitude and speaking in their language insisting to come another day. With an attitude the men decided to complete the nail. When finished I said thank you and did not get a response. Forgot my car keys, went back to ask nobody answers until a customer sitting there responded yes you left the keys. They should go out of business if they aren't nice to their customers. Specially that lady that acts like she's the boss. read more

Linnsay is nice but did an absolute horrible job on my nails !! I wish I wouldn't of had to pay for this . They are extremely uneven and the gel sticks out . They are horrible !! I went back to get one of my broken nails fixed and even one of the employees there named Kim asked what happened to my nails and asked who did them and then she apologized. She did a good job on the one she fixed but through the process she kept apologizing and told me to go back to her and she can do my nail all even . This was a complete waste of time and money although not much time I guess. My entire pedicure from start to finish was 25 minutes. I had the man that works there. He did practically nothing. No attention to detail or care was given. The women that work there seemed to be giving their clients much better service. 3 of us got there at the same time and they weren't even close to being finished when I left. If I could give zero stars I would. I went in for a color gel polish change around 11:50 AM she removed my polish and cleaned them. The main lady got upset because I couldn't choose a color fast enough and wanted me to move from the chair!! and said all the colors I chose were too light but didn't bother to try them. Every 10 seconds she was looking at her 12pm customer waiting and looking around and doing everything in a hurry!!! No wonder they have 3 1/2 stars! Went with a friend, she raved about her first time there. We were both disappointed so I'm guessing we came on an off day. The girl who did my mani-pedi did the most rush job she would paint my nails before dusting off what was left from filling my nail. For the price the service was sub par but since my friend had such a good experience the first time I'm gonna give them the benefit of the doubt. On Wed., 9/5, I arrived @ 5pm & asked for a gel polish removal. The man at the 2nd table on the right used an electric file to remove all the polish. At first, I thought he would just rough it up a bit, then soak the rest off, but he used the tool, entirely. I was charged $8 (other salons charge $5 for a soak-off) and gave the man a $10 bill. He did not offer to give me change, just saying! I left for a trip the next morning, and noticed my nail beds were sore, and they continued to be for the next several days. Over the next week my nails were peeling & tearing to the point I had to cut them all very short. My nails were VERY damaged by the use of the electric file! Upon my return I went back to the salon & asked to speak to a manager. The woman at the very first table on the right asked me why, and I told her I had a complaint. She left her client, came over & asked me what was wrong. I told her what happened & she told me I should've complained at the time of service. At that point, the man who removed my polish came over to listen. I explained that my nails are unhealthy, as the top layer had been filed off, and that I would like my $10 back. She got a little irate & said, "No money back, the polish was removed"! No apology was ever offered, by the way. I told them that I'm considering filing a complaint, but that I'd need the man's name, and I began to walk towards his station to take a photo of his license. She told me I can do whatever I want, BUT she then said, as she ran ahead of me, "You cannot do that", AND RIPPED HIS LICENSE OFF THE WALL & shoved it in a drawer & slammed the drawer shut!!! I explained nicely that I have a right to this information, but the woman asked me to leave & the man called me "crazy" several times. Upon leaving, I asked them if this is how they want their customers to see them behave - there were several there. These people are unprofessional, and practice unethical business principles, and I will be filing a formal complaint against them. Unfortunately, at the time of service my transaction was not rung up, so I did not get a receipt. There are so many nail salons to choose from in Escondido, DON'T choose this one if you want good service - this was, by far, the worst experience I've ever had in 3 decades! B E W A R E read more

Been to this salon 3 times. Once with Kristi... no issue. Another time with a guy and was there two hours for a fill. At that point, I said I would never go to this salon again I was so irritated. But today I gave them 1 more chance. A different guy helped me. I suspect he was new because he was very slow and a gal kept checking on him. He seemed confused at first. I was very annoyed that he didn't listen to me when I asked how much longer, told him nails were uneven. He never cleaned under the nails. he painted my nails missing the sides. Did a poor job. I was supposed to get gel on top but refused it after the polish looked so terrible. I sat in that salon for 2 & 1/2 hours but 30 min was waiting. So in his chair... TWO hours FOR A FILL.
