I called and asked for an appointment with a Rachel and when they said she no longer worked there I booked with another stylist. I got Tara. I asked for only a little trim because I'm growing my hair out from a pixie and I SPECIFICALLY told her I did NOT want the layers on the left (fuller) side of my hair shorter than the right side. She started cutting and I mentioned she was cutting a lot off, she simply said it was dead and she had to so I let it go. I was sad but I let it go. I declined a blow dry and went home with wet hair. When my hair dried not only did I realize the inches she took off, but what did I discover?! The layers on the left side of my hair are WAY SHORTER than the right side! Also they flip out in a ridiculous way because she cut through a curl in a weird way. I look lopsided and ridiculous. I'm SO disappointed and furious.

The first time I came here I didn't know what to expect (i'd purchased a groupon to try this place out)... so glad I did!! First of all, Kelley is a fantastic, beautiful, down to earth woman and I am so #blessed that getting my lashes done has sparked a friendship and someone I can confide in! Second, the quality of her work is outstanding. Everyone ALWAYS compliments me on my lashes. She does a wonderful job switching up the style to see what you like most and what works best with your face structure. Also, I haven't gotten my lashes filled since May 16... it's July 1 and I'm STILL getting compliments on them.. they just look super natural and whisky and have not damaged my real lashes. May 16 I also got Tape In extensions (first time, only used clip ins before) and I will never go back to anything else. She is quick and her work is perfect! They still look great, but I'm thinking of getting keralink next. Lastly, Kelley also has an extensive makeup collection and is SO good at doing makeup regardless of complexion/skin tone/etc. Her prices are extremely fair and she always has yummy snacks and great movies for when you're in the chair. Truly an amazing experience every time!…read more I have been seeing Jen for Reiki for almost 2 years now and each session gets better and better! Reiki isn't massage, but hands-on energy healing. Jen is so wonderful at helping me examine what's going on in my world and weighing me down so that I can set my intentions for our session. She then guides me into a meditative state where she can work on balancing my chakras. Jen is extremely intuitive and has helped me have many breakthroughs since I started seeing her. I usually have a ton of anxiety (especially lately, thanks 2020) but I leave every session feeling like I'm floating on air with so much clairty about where I am and where I am going in life. After some recommendations I ended up at Salon De Moda. And boy am I glad I did ! They are open late during the week and have Saturday appointments for those of us who have to work until five or later. My appointment was for two and I was greeted and seated right then. Why make an appointment if I have to wait ? No waiting here. The salon is super clean and very inviting. The workstations look like tool boxes and they have all kinds of neat decor. I was entertained just looking around. Onto the hair experience, I was taken care of by Tanya who is also the owner. What a lovely woman. She did a consultation first which and advised me on what to do to make My hair look full but not have to get it done all the time. I was there for an hour and a half in which my hair was cut and highlighted. This is an hour less Than I've spent at other salons. I was offered a drink which is nice when your just sitting around waiting for color to set. The other stylists are friendly also and every one that walked by said hello and chatted with me for a bit. What a great experience. I can't talk price since it differs for everyone depending on what you have done and kind of hair you have but I can tell you it was reasonable. I love my hair. I would highly recommend going there if your looking for a Hairdresser. Tanya was awesome and I will see her again but I'm sure the other stylist are just as great. On this same note, I was slightly reluctant, as I did not want to look like a pageant queen on my wedding day - but WOW did she exceed all of my expectations! She listened to all of my requests during the trial as well as offered her personal expertise. I am beyond happy for all of the work performed on my wedding day.
