service is excellent!! We changed our minds so many times but the staff was patient! Mango pomelo sago dessert is a PUDDING and needs more density to it for the price and size. Mochi nuts are good- the kids loved them- many options to choose from. Overall a place that's friendly, warm inside when it's cold outside, and a decent spot for a sugar craving.

    Mochinut and rice dogs

Been here twice so far and the service is fast and efficient. I only got their mochinut donuts and it's been delicious. I tried a few flavors and my favorites are chocolate and matcha. It's always nicely decorated, fresh, and always scrumptious. The store is clean and have plenty of space to sit and hang out with friends.

6 mochi doughnuts (tiramisu, green tea, honeydew, rose, mango, and pork floss)
    Brian W.

I want to preface that I got the Mochinut doughnuts here and not and actual bubble tea. I think that this and other locations are kind of a joint deal where there is a OneZo that also sells Mochinuts but I could be wrong. Anyway, this is a review for the doughnuts, which are great. They have a deal where you can get 6 doughnuts for $18, which is a bit pricey, but also feels okay given the exclusivity of these types of doughnuts. We ordered: Tiramisu - at its core, this was a solid doughnut. The cocoa powder added some nice texture, and the frosting itself was more than just chocolate - it actually did taste like tiramisu which is a pretty deep flavor for a doughnut. A great choice! Green Tea - this is a pretty basic flavor for mochi doughnuts, but it's a solid one. It tastes like green tea and it comes with a green tea pocky on top. A solid choice, but I'd probably skip it next time for a more adventurous option. Honeydew Melon - here's where we start getting a little adventurous. This one tasted just like melon - it was uncanny. It was sweet and tasted exactly like honeydew. I don't even like honeydew that much but I liked this doughnut because I had never tasted a doughnut quite like it. Really great choice here! Rose - another adventurous one that I'm not sure I'd order again, but it was really interesting to try. It really tasted like rose which like the honeydew isn't a taste I normally like, but it was really unique and a cool experience Mango - this is it. This is the best mochi doughnut there is. It tastes almost refreshing, and with little mango bits on it, the mango doughnut is pure bliss. The mango flavor comes through really strong and fruity - I will get this every time I get Mochinut. Pork Floss - and here is the really adventurous one. Is it sweet? Is it salty? It's certainly...something. I wasn't sure what I was getting into ordering this one but I'm really glad I did because it was an experience like none other that's a bit hard to describe. It was certainly salty, but also smokey? It finished off a bit like a teriyaki or eel sauce sweetness, but it had a meaty component to it and also a fried doughnut aspect like the fried dough you get in congee. Then it was fishy? It had bonito flakes so that may be it, but it was really really REALLY interesting. We cut this one into a few pieces and shared with our family and it was a very cool talking point. This alone makes the rating here a 4/5 - I am not sure you'd get this kind of experience anywhere else. I know I had given a 3/5 to the Allston Mochinut location, but this one felt like it had a really good variety of adventurous flavors (especially the pork floss - even though it was a bit strange, the fact that it was available is really what bumped this up from a 3 to a 4) that created a really cool tasting experience. I wouldn't say I'd order all of the flavors again, but the variety and originality of the flavors here make this a 4/5!

I've visited this cute little shop several times - getting the opportunity to try their bubble tea (which is good and pretty standard!), mochi donuts (which are amazing), and now their korean corndogs for the first time on my last visit. Because they make these fresh to order, it takes a bit of time for them to come out, but when they do they're steaming hot and ready to eat. I ordered a potato dog with half cheese and half sausage. The cheese was probably my favorite and gave me a perfect cheese pull. The hot dog part was also good, especially with some ketchup on top. I was also really surprised how sweet the potato exterior was since they dust the entire thing in sugar. It was definitely a treat I wouldn't find myself eating often, but I appreciate the variety of delicious options you can have at One Zo and will definitely be back!

Brown Sugar Latte & Signature Purple Rice Taro Ball

Brown Sugar Latte - wasn't too sweet and the boba was very fresh! It was still warm so extra soft and chewy. Signature Purple Rice Taro Ball - loved this! I've never had a purple rice dessert before but it was creamy and subtly sweet. I liked the mixtures of textures from the rice, taro balls, and boba.

Omg this is the cutest tea shop ever!!! The decor is so beautiful, cute, zen and amazing!! Very well designed. Came in here after dinner and got a couple of Taro teas with 30% sugar, plain no boba or toppings. Service was friendly and the teas tasted nice! We took photos on the cute loveseat! The chairs are comfy with the cushions. It's not packed with tables and so it's really nice to have the space. Unfortunately it was almost 10 closing time and so we had to leave. But we'll be back for sure :)

Get there early to make sure you have access to all the flavors. We went a few minutes before closing and they were limited in the mochinuts. They were delicious even though they had been sitting out for a while but still had a lot of flavor. Definitely an instagramable store but very limited seating. The employees were every helpful in understanding the menu.

Love this place as I can get my mochi-donuts and fresh boba drinks all in one store. There is usually a long line out the door but I was glad to be able to come in during off-peak times to get my goodies. Prices are reasonable and average for the area. Plenty of street parking to stop in and grab your favorites. I recommend for fresh mochi-donut and drinks.

    Busy mango
    Eri L.

Stopped by here for some Asian style desserts since Sweet Kingdom was closed. I tried their Busy Mango, which had a mango base with clear boba, sago, mango chunks, and sweet potato + taro balls. The sweet potato and taro balls had a great chew, but the mango had a very distinctive recently unfrozen taste, and given the pricing and size of the dessert ($9.10 with tax), I wish they included more toppings (the layer at the top is basically all there was, but there was sago/clear boba throughout). I would give the food a 3 stars, but it's a nice place to catch up with friends and staff are very nice, so bumped up to 4.

    OneZo Green Milk Tea

Right in Chinatown is this boba and mochi shop. It was later in the night so I didn't want their main OneZo tea since it's black tea and would keep me awake too late. Unfortunately they were out of stock on the yogurt teas which I really wanted to try so had to settle for green milk tea. It was good but nothing special

The mango pomelo sago was so good, sweet, fruity, creamy and a great texture. I also have loved the mochi donuts and the boba.

Black charcoal tea latte & ube mochinut
    Victoria C.

Another great boba and mochi donut shop in Chinatown. I've been here a few times and it's consistent with the other one zo locations in Boston. There are a couple tables and a nice background to take pictures and hang out with friends. This place also offers mochinut donuts after 2pm as well as sweet desserts and mozzarella/corn dogs. My favorite part about onezo is that they have different handmade boba flavors depending on the day. The service is generally quick, but you can also order online before you come if you're in a rush. My favorite drink here is the black charcoal latte with black sesame boba. The black sesame boba is flavorful and super soft and chewy. They also have other smoothies and fruit teas as well. Overall, a great place to grab a quick snack or sweet treat to brighten up your day.

PLUS, they close later than both. I have this bad habit of going here almost every time I have a meal in the area LOL. The addiction is real! I love that they keep adding new drinks to their menu... keeps it interesting. My favorite is still the Mango Coconut Boom but I'm a fan of most of their new drinks, like the Golden Oolong Yuzu & their King Jasmine Guava! I tried the Pistachio Cloud Jasmine Coconut, as well, and it's super similar to one of my favorites from MollyTea. I prefer the one from MollyTea more w/ champaca tea. Since their opening here, I have tried almost all of the drinks & their mango coconut boom is STILL superior! Highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys mango. It is pretty much their version of mango pomelo sago (they have a version with pomelo but I like it without). SO GOOD! ***Pro tip: order ahead of time via HeyTea app. This is a lifesaver, since the wait time is pretty atrocious most days still. Usually takes ~20 min to be ready.

The wait time estimates are relatively accurate too. Menu-wise, they have a nice variety of both fruity and creamy flavors. Definitely easy to find something for everyone's palette. I really enjoyed their Grape Boom Drink! The sweetness level was perfectly not too sweet with plenty of freshness from the actual grapes. Their Mango Sago Drink was also great but a bit too heavy. If you're looking for more refreshing drinks, definitely go for their fruity options.

We order for pickup from the Allston location often and occasionally order from Newbury St location. We pretty much try to avoid ordering from here unless we are already shopping on Newbury St because for whatever reason, we always have issues with ordering. A few days ago, we made a 5 drink order for pickup through the app from here since we were down the street & the estimated time was ~30 minutes. No problem! We arrived and parked a block away and proceeded to wait 30 minutes in the car. I go back to the app to see if there was any updates on if the drinks were ready & unfortunately, the app still said 24 minutes... after waiting 30 minutes already. Eventually, our drinks were ready 1hr30min later! Staff checked our order off as ready, even though 2 out of the 5 drinks were missing. I guess the issue was that the drinks were misplaced & there was lack of communication w/ the staff & no communication at all from the staff to us about what was going on, so we had to wait even longer for the drinks to be remade as they had been sitting out melting for an hour essentially. I've noticed that in person orders are definitely prioritized over online app orders, it makes sense I get it, but having our wait time triple when there were no customers around was a little ridiculous honestly. We've also ordered from here the week before when there was no queue at all... still ended up taking 30 min for two drinks to be ready. In comparison to Allston location and other HeyTeas, they are not efficient at all & are especially slow with preparing drinks. There needs to be a better system here because this is not acceptable.
