Out of all the boba spots in the area, Onezo has been my go to for my boba cravings. They make their own boba so they have unique flavors to choose from. The classic brown sugar boba can't go wrong with any drink option. But a strong recommendation from me is the black sesame pearls. It isn't too sweet and it provides a nice toasty flavor of the black sesame that makes a drink especially yummy. They are consistent with their drinks and I haven't been disappointed in a drink I've gotten. Their Hong Kong milk tea is one of their signature drinks and it is a strong tea flavor that isn't sweetened unless you add boba to it. The interior is bright and clean with a couple of tables to sit at. They're never super busy since the drinks are made so quickly. I haven't tried the desserts here just yet but I've heard good things so far. read more

I want to preface that I got the Mochinut doughnuts here and not and actual bubble tea. I think that this and other locations are kind of a joint deal where there is a OneZo that also sells Mochinuts but I could be wrong. Anyway, this is a review for the doughnuts, which are great. They have a deal where you can get 6 doughnuts for $18, which is a bit pricey, but also feels okay given the exclusivity of these types of doughnuts. We ordered: Tiramisu - at its core, this was a solid doughnut. The cocoa powder added some nice texture, and the frosting itself was more than just chocolate - it actually did taste like tiramisu which is a pretty deep flavor for a doughnut. A great choice! Green Tea - this is a pretty basic flavor for mochi doughnuts, but it's a solid one. It tastes like green tea and it comes with a green tea pocky on top. A solid choice, but I'd probably skip it next time for a more adventurous option. Honeydew Melon - here's where we start getting a little adventurous. This one tasted just like melon - it was uncanny. It was sweet and tasted exactly like honeydew. I don't even like honeydew that much but I liked this doughnut because I had never tasted a doughnut quite like it. Really great choice here! Rose - another adventurous one that I'm not sure I'd order again, but it was really interesting to try. It really tasted like rose which like the honeydew isn't a taste I normally like, but it was really unique and a cool experience Mango - this is it. This is the best mochi doughnut there is. It tastes almost refreshing, and with little mango bits on it, the mango doughnut is pure bliss. The mango flavor comes through really strong and fruity - I will get this every time I get Mochinut. Pork Floss - and here is the really adventurous one. Is it sweet? Is it salty? It's certainly...something. I wasn't sure what I was getting into ordering this one but I'm really glad I did because it was an experience like none other that's a bit hard to describe. It was certainly salty, but also smokey? It finished off a bit like a teriyaki or eel sauce sweetness, but it had a meaty component to it and also a fried doughnut aspect like the fried dough you get in congee. Then it was fishy? It had bonito flakes so that may be it, but it was really really REALLY interesting. We cut this one into a few pieces and shared with our family and it was a very cool talking point. This alone makes the rating here a 4/5 - I am not sure you'd get this kind of experience anywhere else. I know I had given a 3/5 to the Allston Mochinut location, but this one felt like it had a really good variety of adventurous flavors (especially the pork floss - even though it was a bit strange, the fact that it was available is really what bumped this up from a 3 to a 4) that created a really cool tasting experience. I wouldn't say I'd order all of the flavors again, but the variety and originality of the flavors here make this a 4/5! read more

I've visited this cute little shop several times - getting the opportunity to try their bubble tea (which is good and pretty standard!), mochi donuts (which are amazing), and now their korean corndogs for the first time on my last visit. Because they make these fresh to order, it takes a bit of time for them to come out, but when they do they're steaming hot and ready to eat. I ordered a potato dog with half cheese and half sausage. The cheese was probably my favorite and gave me a perfect cheese pull. The hot dog part was also good, especially with some ketchup on top. I was also really surprised how sweet the potato exterior was since they dust the entire thing in sugar. It was definitely a treat I wouldn't find myself eating often, but I appreciate the variety of delicious options you can have at One Zo and will definitely be back! read more

Omg this is the cutest tea shop ever!!! The decor is so beautiful, cute, zen and amazing!! Very well designed. Came in here after dinner and got a couple of Taro teas with 30% sugar, plain no boba or toppings. Service was friendly and the teas tasted nice! We took photos on the cute loveseat! The chairs are comfy with the cushions. It's not packed with tables and so it's really nice to have the space. Unfortunately it was almost 10 closing time and so we had to leave. The sweet potato and taro balls had a great chew, but the mango had a very distinctive recently unfrozen taste, and given the pricing and size of the dessert ($9.10 with tax), I wish they included more toppings (the layer at the top is basically all there was, but there was sago/clear boba throughout). I would give the food a 3 stars, but it's a nice place to catch up with friends and staff are very nice, so bumped up to 4. read more

Another great boba and mochi donut shop in Chinatown. I've been here a few times and it's consistent with the other one zo locations in Boston. There are a couple tables and a nice background to take pictures and hang out with friends. This place also offers mochinut donuts after 2pm as well as sweet desserts and mozzarella/corn dogs. My favorite part about onezo is that they have different handmade boba flavors depending on the day. The service is generally quick, but you can also order online before you come if you're in a rush. My favorite drink here is the black charcoal latte with black sesame boba. The black sesame boba is flavorful and super soft and chewy. They also have other smoothies and fruit teas as well. Another solid bubble tea location in Chinatown! I've heard good things about Onezo and honestly it didn't disappoint. Menu wise, it has all the basics you could ask for when craving bubble tea along with a few unique desserts that make the place stand out a bit more in comparison with the other stores around the area. Content wise, the place doesn't disappoint! We came here in the afternoon on a Saturday and the place was decently full. We managed to get a table to enjoy our drinks on after we ordered and sat there for a while without issue - people came in waves and it was never really empty so definitely a popular spot! The drinks themselves were pretty solid. My oolong milk tea wasn't memorable, but definitely not bad. I'd love to try some of their brown sugar drinks another time as it seems like those would be their specialty. We also tried one of their desserts, the brown sugar mochi taro ball. Ou my god, please make sure you are in love with sugar if you order this because that's all your going to taste. I would honestly never get this again due to how crippling it was to my tastebuds, but for those of you with a huge sweet tooth, please go ahead. Also, do not order this with a brown sugar drink - your tastebuds will thank you ( my friend definitely was struggling as she had a brown sugar drink along with this ). The good though was definitely the mochi - super fresh and the best part of the dessert! One comment about the service is that they forgot about our dessert so we had to ask them after waiting for fifteen minutes to make it. This place sells drinks and donuts! What is there not to like? I ordered the brown sugar milk tea and the drink itself wasn't too sweet. I got a medium and it was a good size for me to finish since other places only sell one size for all their drinks. The boba was quite soft and chewy, overall the atmosphere was clean and quiet so definitely a good place if you ever need a place to study. My friend and I came here on Thursday evening in Chinatown. I wanted to support a local business, and I saw that One Zo has more than one location in Boston so I decided to check it out. Based on their menu and the pictures of their drinks, it looked legit. When I came in on a Thursday evening around 5, it was packed and there was a line. I knew it had to be good for them to have a huge demand. They also sell mochinuts and Korean style corn dogs in addition to bubble tea. I ordered an oolong milk tea with pudding and brown sugar bubble. My friend ordered their One Zo milk tea with regular bubble. She asked them what the difference is, and I probably should've done it. However, I find that the brown sugar one flavored the tapioca a bit compared to her's it felt plain. There's also limited seating inside. If you're trying to hang out a bit, and there's a long line -- I'd recommend having one person sit to hold the spot while the other orders. Otherwise, you'll have to grab and go. They're efficient and effective. I wish their self order kiosk was working. It wasn't for some reason, so it took a while. I also like that their kiosk allowed me to see what they were putting in as I was saying. I'd recommend this place to anyone in the area looking for bubble tea. read more

I got mine 70% sweetness while hers was 50%. 70% is my usual go to especially since this place didn't have plain boba but looking back now, I could have done 100% personally. Found this place while I was walking around Chinatown with a friend! This review is just based on the strawberry cheese soufflé. They were doing a boho 50% off but we opted for just one since we were stuffed from dinner. The establishment is well decorated and very clean. The workers seemed nice but a little distracted/slow. But they just opened so it makes sense! It took us SO long to get our souffles and I wish they had given us some sort of a warning because my friend had to go somewhere. But we just aimlessly waited for about 15-20min for these souffles. when we finally received our order, it was packaged really well for take out! In terms of taste, there was just so much strawberry sauce that I honestly couldn't taste the pancakes much. The sauce was also overwhelmingly sweet. The fresh fruit and cornflakes added some freshness and crunch that the soufflé needed. I honestly wish there were more. The pancakes themselves were eggy, which I liked but not light in terms of texture. I might come back to try their drinks but I probably wouldn't get the soufflé again considering other dessert options in the area. If you're gonna get the soufflé, I recommend getting one without the sauce! And be aware! It'll take a long time read more

Read this review as a 3.5 star review. I dropped by on Sunday in light of the abnormally warm November weather to try out the Coconut Milk Ball. I took a bit of time to identify what I wanted to grab and was in "line" after I let a group go ahead of me. After that group was finished, the cashier didn't really acknowledge that I was in line for a few minutes, which irritated me. Not sure if the cashiers are inexperienced or the register was glitching, but I could have at least gotten a "hey, I am trying process X order, I'll get your order when I wrap this up." On the bright side, the order came out in a satisfactory time and I was able to enjoy the Coconut Milk Ball at home. They are pretty generous with the red beans, white boba, and other toppings. Stopped in because I've been wanting to try Mochidonuts! There's a tablet with the full menu, which was helpful, there are a lot of options which is great. I went with 3 mochidonuts; taro, matcha, and chocolate flavors. The taro + chocolate were my bf + I's fave. The texture of the mochidonuts was nice; crisp outside and doughy on the inside. Would def recommend grabbing some to share. I ended up grabbing boba while I was there as well. Grabbed the Brown Sugar Milk Tea (for my bf) with brown sugar boba, which was awesome, perfect amount of sweetness! I got the Taro Milk Tea for myself, with White Original boba, never had it, but wanted to try it. I enjoyed my tea, it was light and the worker put a grass jelly I think which was awesome. My new favorite boba place in Boston! I had this boba shop first in Toronto; so happy they're here now! Their differentiating point from the other boba shops around Chinatown is that they hand make their own boba; this leads to boba pearls in a variety of flavors: the iconic brown sugar, but also purple yam, Chrysanthemum, black sesame, and more! I would particularly recommend their grapefruit green tea and brown sugar milk tea! The grapefruit green tea has pieces of sweet pulp inside, giving your mouth a bit of variety as you sip up your drink. I also like how this grapefruit green tea is slightly icy. The brown sugar milk tea has the chewiest brown sugar bobas, and the milk also tastes full and creamy in your mouth, complementing the boba very well. If you like tea drinks without fruit or milk, the four seasons tea is great choice - the tea flavor is very strong yet super palatable. read more
