They did change the menu a bit, but it had what I exactly wanted. We ordered the Szechuan Mala Spicy Rice Noodle Bowl w/ Beef Slices, Popcorn Chicken, Shrimp Tempura, and Xiao Long Bao. The noodle bowl is the best. Tons of flavor and ingredients with the vermicelli noodles are just amazing. The popcorn chicken is delicious, nothing special. The shrimp tempura is delicious and has an amazing crunch. The Xiao Long Bao is more of a soup dumpling dim sum style. It was pretty delicious, but it didn't taste really fresh like you'd get from an actual dim sum restaurant. The staff are friendly and fast. Lots of tables to dine at. Parking lot is a bit small, but you can park on the other side of the buildings where there are more parking. read more

great noodles here! they specialize in rice noodles and flavorful broths and each time i've been, i've enjoyed the spicy beef noodle soup. everything comes in huge proteins and at a reasonable price. my friends enjoyed the cross the bridge rice noodle (make your own soup) dish where the sides were brought out along side the hot broth for them to construct. looked really good! i'll likely try this next time! the fried buns with condensed milk were an excellent dessert. super pillowy with a delicately crisp exterior and a perfect pairing with the condensed milk for a not too sweet dessert! this was my favorite item. staff are very friendly and there are plenty of clean and well laid out seats inside for solo diners or groups if all sizes. overall: 9/10 taste: 9/10 price: 9/10 great spot for hot soup noodles in cstat! read more

Had cravings for some asian food after a week of bbq. The price was not very high (but might be high for TX). We got the classic bone soup base, tomato base and sichuan spicy base. Also got some fried manto with condensed milk. It's like a hot pot, with fixed ingredients served in a lot of small dishes. You mix in yourself and it'll cook pretty quickly. I've been to Ten Seconds Noodle House for the first time in Katy, TX and I'm really impressed at how consistent the quality is at this location too! In comparison to other restaurants in College Station, I'd say the flavors are unique and haven't had anything similar to this at any other Asian restaurants around this area. I ordered the Szechuan Mala Soup with fish fillet and thought it was pretty good! I loved how soft the rice noodles were cooked and there was plenty of fish in it. My boyfriend ordered the Cross the Bridge Kimchi soup that comes with beef slices and he enjoyed it as well. However, he did complain about wanting more beef slices. Went to this place for the first time while visiting College Station (also for the first time) and needing some lunch. Ambience was great - nice decor and ample seating space. Service was excellent and staff were pleasant and cheerful, from the greeting to the goodbye. The food was also very nice and reasonably priced. We started with the Simmered Chicken appetizer and then the entrees. The appetizer was delicious and there was a decent quantity for sharing. I had the Original Pork Bone Cross the Bridge Rice Noodle soup and my wife had the Vegetable Noodle Soup bowl. Both were delicious and filling with lots of fresh ingredients. I think that there is one in Houston (Bellaire) not too far from where we live, so we'll be checking that one out. read more

It's all a bit hidden, and perhaps that's what gems tend to be: Hidden. Ten Seconds Noodle House is something that I had never expected to find. Similar to Chinese Hot Pot, Ten Seconds noodle house has you being given a hot pot of broth along with ingredients, but no flame or burner to keep it hot while you eat. While this may sound like a detriment, I believe it to be just fine as it gives the ingredients ample time to mingle with one another within the pot. Before I speak about the food, I must exemplify the service. Though a previous review spoke about servers looking angry, I have no idea what they were talking about, as the servers are very kind and helpful and were even able to explain things very clearly for me, as I was a first timer. The food itself was very surprising, as I at first expected some kind of rich broth such as pork bone ramen, but instead I got something much more akin to a light broth which was so flavorful, relying more on sheer quality rather than overwhelming your taste buds with umami. Hence, the ingredients only enhance the broth, and as another reviewer stated, it pairs very well with chili oil, so do consider trying some of that in your broth as well! I also encourage you to finish your broth with the spoon you are given, of course. They have plenty of space, and the very cute story on their wall behind the register about their legend which founds them. Not to mention, I saw a party of 10 appear suddenly, and they were able to re-arrange without much trouble at all (though I highly recommend calling in ahead of time, that's just polite and less trouble on them and you.) Overall, though a rather recent addition in the Bryan-College Station area, it is a smash hit, and for anyone craving some unique and delicious noodles or a light broth, I highly recommend! read more

On this cold winter day my mom & I were craving some warm noodle soup. I wanted to try something new but my mom was a little hesitant but luckily she loved this place & plans on coming here again! I got the Cross the Bridge Rice Noodle w/ the Szechuan Mala Spicy base (flavorful but not painfully spicy, perfect level for me) and my mom got one of the Health Preservation Soups with a Mushroom base. Both were very hearty and yummy. The Cross the Noodle Option is a kind of mini hot pot version & comes with more toppings while the regular noodle soup options seem to come with more meat so it depends on what you're looking for! The beef stew was tender (it had both beef and tendon) and the soup was nice and light but still very flavorful. The noodles were easily slurpable as well! My boyfriend got the Mala Sichuan noodle soup with fish fillet and he liked his as well! The fish was made perfectly. My only complaint is that it is a little expensive, my bowl was $16. However, the portions are quite decent. FYI: We had a party of 6 meaning that we paid 18% gratuity automatically. You complete your payment on an iPad, which sends you to another tip screen that is not the already included tip! So if you don't want to tip twice, that is important to take note of.
