Service- when I went to pick up my on-line order . They at first told me that they had not received received my order. Ultimately she found my order. This was the second time that this happened. Food - I ordered the orange chicken. Which was really good until I got to the last piece. Where I found out why it tasted so much like orange chicken. I found a slice of orange peel. I have ordered from this spot on Doordash a few times when I'm in CS for work. The food always comes quickly and hot and plentiful. I've had the sautéed string beans (very good), the mushroom with tofu (hope you like shitakes) and most recently the vegetable lo mein. The veggie lo mein totally disappointed me. It was just a whole lot of thick, tasteless noodles with just a few pieces of broccoli, baby corn, green onion and water chestnuts. It is the #2 most ordered item on the menu but most people who order lo mein like this. I wish it at least had a decent sauce. I never use the soy sauce packets that come with Chinese food; it's already salty enough. I did this time. This spot is close to my hotel, has a great menu and is fast so I'll likely order again, but was disappointed by the lo mein. read more

The Longmire location is closer to me, but I've also been to the T Jin in Bryan and T Jin in general, is so good! Everything is delicious here and you can't go wrong with anything you order, along with reasonable prices for delivery and dine in. Some of my favorite things on the menu at T Jin is, Sesame Chicken, Mongolian beef, as well as Mongolian chicken, beef with black bean sauce, egg rolls, and won ton soup, and the fried rice and lo mein noodles are so good too. Ordered and had food in less then 10 mins and there were 4-6 other families dining at the same time. Good food and HUGE portions that would last you some time. I got the orange chicken and they give you like 8 giant chicken balls (meatball like) rather than bite sized pieces. Sauce was good, not super orange-y. Fried rice is also nice but a bit greasy. My favorite is the sweet and sour chicken. It seems like most of their business is take out. As far as I can tell this is the best Chinese food around. Portion sizes are large for lunch and dinner. Though I prefer takeout to eating alone there's plenty of seating and everyone is friendly. Service is great- place is clean- not the best Chinese food though- the fried rice is pretty bland and some of the almond chicken pieces were too chewy to eat. It's not very authentic Chinese. It has great priced for lunch- the place was super crowded for lunch. The almond chicken had been recommended on yelp by someone but it didn't have very much flavor in my opinion. Christmas Eve 2020. Amazing! Went in to pick up our to-go order, about 5 min after they said it would be done. They were hustling in there! Three people taking phone calls, one young lady just running orders from the kitchen to the pick up counter. They took 6 calls and served 4 people in the 5 min I was in there. I've only been here once and I got the Pad Thai. I'm vegetarian and options are slim so i figured I'd try it. In general I don't recommend getting Pad Thai from anywhere other than Thai restaurants. My boyfriend got the Szechuan Chicken and he enjoyed it. Food is expensive but you get huge servings. I was able to eat the leftovers for two meals. Definitely not the best or anywhere near the best Chinese food i've ever had but for College Station, it was pretty good. The biggest upside of this place is the free delivery. I hate to do this bc I have enjoyed this place for a long time. Tonight my elderly mother was sent to the ER with violent nausea and dizziness. She had blood work, CT, Chest xrays and loads of other tests done only to find out that she had food poisoning. She became violently sick after eating here. Not sure if anyone else has had this experience but this is dangerous and senseless. I hope the country and city health department will get a chance to go check it out. :( read more
