Came here for the first time with my kids. Ordered the Beef Ramen, Pork Ramen, House Fried Rice, Mai's Special Fried Chicken, French Fries, and Fried Pork Dumplings. The ramen isn't like the Japanese style, but more of Vietnamese style. The beef ramen tasted more of a Vietnamese beef stew soup and the pork ramen was more light and refreshing. The bok choy vegetable was perfectly cooked with some life in it to give a little crunch. The noodles and egg were delicious. Both the beef and pork meats, although flavorful, were a little on the tougher side. I wish it was more tender. The fried rice was pretty flavorful, but I probably wouldn't order this again. The fries and dumplings were good, but nothing special about them. The chicken wings came out piping hot so be careful especially when you bite into them as the juices and oil is even more hot. Overall, decent priced for the portions you get. We were in the mood for ramen and although, it was pretty good, I'd prefer going to other places such as Kyuramen for that more authentic Japanese thick broth. I will be back here to try their other dishes. We also ordered the mango flavored milk tea which was ok as well. Staff were very friendly and fast. Lots of tables to dine at and lots of parking, but be sure to scan the QR code as you first enter to get 2 free hours of paper as another company owns this parking lot, so they'll tow you if you don't pay. I definitely recommend the chili wontons (the broth was incredible) and the pork bun appetizer. The service was fast and friendly, and the ambiance in there is nice for a casual lunch or dinner! I also had the shrimp tempura and the OG chicken appetizer, both were good but the breading on the chicken was a bit sweet (reminded me of chicken and waffles) which I don't normally go for, but still super tasty. Not just the best asian fusion I've had, but one of the best asian restaurants I've eaten at. As a Chinese American, I'm thoroughly impressed with how well they have incorporated traditional Chinese flavors into dishes from other countries. The noodle dishes, soups, wings, and appetizers are all stellar and delicious. Not only that, they are priced extremely fair, especially in this economy. I am astounded how this place has not been talked about more from people around TA&M, and how this is the only location out in College Station. Genuinely the best food I have had in my life. As someone who lives with native Chinese people, I am incredibly impressed at the way fusion foods are made here. Not only is there a distinct Chinese flavor in their Korean wings and Japanese ramen, they were also extremely elevated and the most flavorful dishes I have ever had. If there is any negative to this experience, it is that their only location is in College Station. We were here for a weekend only to tour the school, but would contemplate commuting from Dallas just to eat here again. I highly recommend the crab rangoons which were the best I have ever had. The food here is so good!! I have been here multiple times and trying to try the most of the menu. I love the fried chicken here; it is so crunchy and the chicken is tossed in delicious sauce! My personal favorite is the Mai special fried chicken! Other good flavors are the tangy honey mustard and golden coconut crunch chicken!! Their rice noodle soup and ramen are pretty good too, but I prefer the tossed version. My personal favorite is the beef tossed rice noodle! So yummy!!! Additionally, the teas here are good! I would give a 3.5 if I could. The food was good, with decent portion sizes and taste, but it's nothing mind blowing. We didn't try the fried chicken, so maybe their fried chicken is better. AThe service, however, was great. our food came out quick and the waiter made sure we had everything we needed. Atmosphere lacking. The lighting is fine, but the walls are covered with "flattering" representations of the food. Otherwise the decorations are pretty bland. Also, a weird quirk of the restaurant is that the menu uses the same image for the beef tossed rice noodles and the beef tossed ramen. It might have something to do with the oil temp or the batter. I would still order noodle but never the chicken unless there is improvement. The pickled vegetable in the noodle is a nice touch. We had been wanting to try this new restaurant for a few weeks now but what sold us to try it was all the customer service reviews AND that the owner replied to every single review! We thought "Ok this is a really good sign if the owners care this much!" and we were not disappointed! Super quaint and cozy, with AMAZING customer service! We ordered the Mai Wing Wheel to try all the wing flavors (great appetizer option for variety!), and really loved the Mia OG and the Coconut flavors. We got the tossed Pork Ramen (delicious) and the Beef Rice Noodle Soup. We really enjoyed the Beef soup but it was just so dang hot that day we knew we'd really love it on a cold day! But would highly recommend the soup dishes as "leftover" dishes because when we warmed up the soup the next day at home the flavor was 10x better after sitting in the fridge overnight!
