Came here for the first time with my kids. Ordered the Beef Ramen, Pork Ramen, House Fried Rice, Mai's Special Fried Chicken, French Fries, and Fried Pork Dumplings. The ramen isn't like the Japanese style, but more of Vietnamese style. The beef ramen tasted more of a Vietnamese beef stew soup and the pork ramen was more light and refreshing. The bok choy vegetable was perfectly cooked with some life in it to give a little crunch. The noodles and egg were delicious. Both the beef and pork meats, although flavorful, were a little on the tougher side. I wish it was more tender. The fried rice was pretty flavorful, but I probably wouldn't order this again. The fries and dumplings were good, but nothing special about them. The chicken wings came out piping hot so be careful especially when you bite into them as the juices and oil is even more hot. Overall, decent priced for the portions you get. We were in the mood for ramen and although, it was pretty good, I'd prefer going to other places such as Kyuramen for that more authentic Japanese thick broth. I will be back here to try their other dishes. We also ordered the mango flavored milk tea which was ok as well. Staff were very friendly and fast. Lots of tables to dine at and lots of parking, but be sure to scan the QR code as you first enter to get 2 free hours of paper as another company owns this parking lot, so they'll tow you if you don't pay. I think 2hrs is a lot of time since the service here is fast.

Genuinely the best food I have had in my life. As someone who lives with native Chinese people, I am incredibly impressed at the way fusion foods are made here. Not only is there a distinct Chinese flavor in their Korean wings and Japanese ramen, they were also extremely elevated and the most flavorful dishes I have ever had. If there is any negative to this experience, it is that their only location is in College Station. We were here for a weekend only to tour the school, but would contemplate commuting from Dallas just to eat here again. I highly recommend the crab rangoons which were the best I have ever had. Everything was delicious, 10/10 please come try them.

We ordered pork ramen noodles, beef ramen noodles, and chicken tossed ramen. All were decent and tasty. TIP: Scan the QR code INSIDE the restaurant to get 2 hours of free parking!

this is easily one of mine and my partner's favorite places in college station. the steamed pork buns are huge and soft, the fried spring rolls are super fresh, and i remember the gyoza being great, too. my partner looooves the wing wheel and i always get the chicken rice noodle soup. the soup is so comforting, fresh, and flavorful. the pork is also good if you like a little spice. also, the waitstaff is super kind. they let us spin a wheel for goodies after our meal, and we received a free mango boba, which was awesome!

A group dinner at Mai Shan yun!

The food here is so good!! I have been here multiple times and trying to try the most of the menu. I love the fried chicken here; it is so crunchy and the chicken is tossed in delicious sauce! My personal favorite is the Mai special fried chicken! Other good flavors are the tangy honey mustard and golden coconut crunch chicken!! Their rice noodle soup and ramen are pretty good too, but I prefer the tossed version. My personal favorite is the beef tossed rice noodle! So yummy!!! Additionally, the teas here are good! I love the strawberry sunrise!! It is so refreshing!! The servers here are very nice and chill. The ambiance here is very homey!

Pork ramen

Food don't live up to my expectations and what I ordered did not match what I got. Service was great. I probably didn't order the right thing because their pork ramen was not that great. The flavor of the broth was eh. Their fired chicken or dried noodles look better.

Steamed pork dumplings

I would give a 3.5 if I could. The food was good, with decent portion sizes and taste, but it's nothing mind blowing. We didn't try the fried chicken, so maybe their fried chicken is better. AThe service, however, was great. our food came out quick and the waiter made sure we had everything we needed. Atmosphere lacking. The lighting is fine, but the walls are covered with "flattering" representations of the food. Otherwise the decorations are pretty bland. Also, a weird quirk of the restaurant is that the menu uses the same image for the beef tossed rice noodles and the beef tossed ramen. Not sure if they are exactly the same dish, or if it just a mistake on the menu.

They did change the menu a bit, but it had what I exactly wanted. We ordered the Szechuan Mala Spicy Rice Noodle Bowl w/ Beef Slices, Popcorn Chicken, Shrimp Tempura, and Xiao Long Bao. The noodle bowl is the best. Tons of flavor and ingredients with the vermicelli noodles are just amazing. The popcorn chicken is delicious, nothing special. The shrimp tempura is delicious and has an amazing crunch. The Xiao Long Bao is more of a soup dumpling dim sum style. It was pretty delicious, but it didn't taste really fresh like you'd get from an actual dim sum restaurant. The staff are friendly and fast. Lots of tables to dine at. Parking lot is a bit small, but you can park on the other side of the buildings where there are more parking.

We originally got sent milk tea instead and we thought this was the grossest Thai Tea, but we found out later on that we were given milk tea instead lol. Either way, they both didn't taste good. We stopped in and were overwhelmed by the menu. There were only 2 others dining but we decided to go ahead and order. The place was clean but there was a major concern: the silverware is placed on the tables in a stainless steel holder and it seemed unsanitary. Also, I hated the napkins. Now the food: the menu is absolutely overwhelming. From soup to baos to plenty of appetizers to bahn mis to pho to beef and chicken dishes, it's a little too much. I will say there might be something for everyone. My mom has the sizzle beef. It was oddly chewy. The bell peppers were great and the rice was perfectly cooked. However, it was served on lettuce and tomato which didn't add to the dish at all. Solid 2.5/5. I got a bulgogi bahn mi and it was tiny but exactly what I would go for at a Vietnamese restaurant. I paid $11.50 for it (added an egg) and that was brutally priced. We got the loaded fries and they were so underwhelming. No flavor at all from the fries and bulgogi...the egg didn't add anything either. I would give it a 1.5/5. There were a ton of people coming in and grabbing to-go orders for delivery services and I believe most of them ordered the pho. I think that's where we messed up. For $51, it was quite a lackluster experience. The customer service was great but I don't think I'll be back.

I've been here in the BCS area for 4yrs now and we don't really have a lot of Vietnamese restaurant selection here unless you venture out to Houston or other major cities. We just noticed this place driving by so we gave it a try. We ordered the Special Pho, Banh Mi w/ Pork, Grilled Chicken Rice Plate, Spicy Beef Noodle (Bún Bò Hué), Singapore Noodles, Shrimp Summer Roll, Cheese Puffs (Rangoon), and Gyoza. Everything tasted ok. The veggies and vermicelli noodles within the shrimp summer roll was falling out every time I was dipping it into the peanut sauce which didn't naturally come with fish sauce. The pho and spicy beef noodle broth wasn't clear like it should and anyone that knows authentic Vietnamese dishes, knows the broth is everything. The broth was still good, but you can taste the big difference and the portions were lacking. I was expecting a traditional combination pho which had tripe and tendon and a plate with tons of veggies, but instead, got what looked like veggie scraps or leftovers and soup that had little pieces of meats and garnishes . The Cheese Puffs were basically Rangoons, but unusually sweet. The Singapore noodles and chicken rice plate were ok. It was a bit bland so we relied on the fish sauce and shoyu. The banh mi was decent, but there were more bread and pickled veggies than there were meat. The buns seem like it was toasted a while ago so it looked nice and crunchy, but it was actually soft. Overall, pretty disappointing experience especially because I was in the mood for some delicious pho. It was pretty damn cheap considering the amount of food we ordered. We actually accidentally ordered too much banh mi because we misunderstood our waitress and the lunch specials. The staff is super friendly and fast. Located next door to Razoos in this borderline dead business area. We were the only ones in the restaurant at the time. I was bummed that I didn't enjoy my meal. She brought out the sides for our table and the kimchi was okay...nothing that had fermented long enough. The cold radish was a highlight. The potatoes were tough and I did not even try the jelly... For our entrees, all of us got bulgogi except for my mother who got the spicy seafood soup. Our friend tried ordering the sautéed chicken but the waitress literally said, "is it your first time? You get bulgogi. I promise." She completely hijacked his ordering experience and ended up with a dish he didn't like. None of us liked our food (except my mother). "Mom, y'all (referring to me and her) make better bulgogi than this at home," said my brother. I don't disagree...the texture was rubbery and it was tasteless. This being my 3rd time here (I always get some form of bibimbap), I expected the same quality. The presentation was nice but so much was lacking. Great service, C-tier food.

Update: This review is strictly based on their trash…read moreservice. For the 2nd straight time, we got awful service. Food is great here. First bad service, they forgot about me and my wife on Valentine's Day. Didn't even get our water or our order taken for almost 20mins and they weren't even busy. Today's experience was worst. We got seated fast and got our order taken and got our waters. Then 45mins go by, we still don't got our food and we only ordered 3 items (noodle soup, banh mi sandwich, and egg rolls) for me and my son. Then I literally watched 3 separate customers arrive 20-30mins later and they got their food first so I'm waiting for our server to come by, but he didn't even come by or if he did, he doesn't even check on us once so I catch the attention of another worker and told him I've been waiting 50mins now since ordering and pointed out that the other customers that practically ordered the same thing, got their food already. At this point, I'm super pissed and I finally get my soup bowl, but my son doesn't have his sandwich yet and I see the kitchen still dishing out everyone else's order including other sandwiches. 1 of the customers that came after me almost 30mins later, already got their order which was similar to ours, ate it, and paid their tab. My son's sandwich finally comes out and when I complained to our server, he states that he placed my order in, but he doesn't know what happened. He doesn't see me sitting there staring at him walking by me, oblivious that I haven't been served yet. This guy is not fit to work the floor by himself because he is incompetent to multi-task, doesn't even say sorry until I leave, the kitchen staff that he blamed, can't even prioritize orders that came in first. The service SUCKS A$$! Having bad service twice within 1.5 weeks is ridiculous. Don't come here unless you wanna wait 30mins for your order to be taken and another hour until they realize they forgot about you. I'm all for supporting small businesses, but f*ck this place.
