I want to take a minute and shout out your lovely staff at Ten Thousand. I don't live here but I visit one of your Penthouse residents at least twice a week. Let's start with the doorman, Terrance and Mario are ALWAYS a breathe of fresh air. They greet me with a smile(Terrance, that million dollar smile is everything) and always have kind things to say. The valet Gustavo, Franciso are always kind to me. & the front desk, Mr.Riley, Jennifer, Micheal(Hi Mike!) and Deena. Deena gets 1000 points because she helped recover my MacBook a few weeks ago. The hard product that tends to thousand is offering is beautiful. From the views, finishes, and location, it is truly impressive. However, the soft product leaves a lot to be desired. The in house food delivery team takes 15-20 minutes to deliver your food, my electric car doesn't get charged consistently, and management in general seems disorganized. The people in the building who consistently phenomenal are the doormen: Terrence, Mario, and Rigo. They know how to run things and somehow always manage to make it look easy. They're extremely welcoming and I love them. read more

Modern building with great views, but severely over priced. Especially given the cheap materials with which the residential units are finished. Clearly built to last a maximum of 2-3 years, be prepared for absolutely everything to wear and tear much more than usual, including the flooring. There is no sense of privacy within the building, with sounds, and smells, traveling from one unit to another, and from the whole way into the units, as though there were no walls or doors whatsoever. Be prepared to wait weeks or months for them to fix things. And be prepared for them to continuously invent new charges, including false ones to add to your account unbeknownst to you: so be careful if you set your rent to auto pay. Service staff is nice, which gets them the second star alongside with the views. Management staff, unfortunately, is only interested in maximizing the buildings revenue... Not at all interested in the resident experience. In one of many anecdotes, I've been charged for drinks I did not consume, damage, I did not make, and even sold a fake VIP bracelet today supposedly exclusive party through the buildings Concierge itself... Which the building didn't even reimburse me for after it turned out, they had sold me a counterfeit ticket. read more

BEWARE ! First off I'll have to say the building itself is an amazing place, great experience living there. BUT !!! Know what you're getting in to before you do. I'll start of from saying no one that goes on and lives here is a beggar, and 5-10k stolen won't leave us without food on the table, but it is very annoying and a daylight robbery so I had to share this here ! If you're looking to get your deposit stolen that's the perfect place to get it done. Been waiting for my deposit back for weeks, suddenly after 3 weeks when you're supposed to get your deposit back they send you an email for repair deductions, jacking up the prices big time. Trying to call and email them to understand what's happening and there is 0 response, when trying to reach someone on the phone it takes a week or two, getting a voicemail all the time. Giving you the run around. Jillian the person thats in-charge of this field has horrible responsiveness and communication awareness. Practically talking to a wall. When asking them for receipts for repairs they just ignore your emails and no one calls you back (although it's required by law). Long story short here we are a month after I moved out and STILL DIDN'T GET MY DEPOSIT BACK ! Will be definitely involving attorney in the situation. BEWARE ! read more

The management running this building - the GMs name is Nicole - is absolute trash. They do not genuinely care about the well-being of their tenants and they treat their employees terribly. For ten thousand and up a month I expected the place to have some crazy amenities like an in-unit spa the only thing you're paying for is the views and location few min walk away from the Rodeo Drive the place looks like a Vegas hotel except there is not much entertainment I mean if it at least had a casino on the first floor with drinks being served like in Vegas I'd consider this for when I'm richer. It was very crowded in the outdoor common areas and I've visited the place during COVID there is a lot of families with kids and elderly people I'm not sure why would they be living in a building like that if they could afford a house with backyard which is much nicer. I looooved the gardens but again, it's a common area shared with all the residents, not just you. read more

This is a high end luxury apartment building that I have visited many times over the years which is over 30 floors high. You are greeted by valet the moment you park your car which is free. The doormen open the door and there is a concierge desk. The front lobby has a nice chandelier and decor. You can only go to the third floor which is an outdoor lounge that has gym, indoor pool, children's recreation room and other amenities and your designated floor you live on. You just tell the front desk who you're here to visit and they will the elevator for that specific floor. This is a nice security feature. I have visited here since it first opened and there is a lovely third floor lounge which I'm has an outdoor feel to it with swimming pools, cabanas to relax, tennis courts, bbq grills, and fire pits. I have thrown a party here before as there is a private room inside on that same floor. Before Covid, there were also events like saint Patrick's day with photo booths. The third floor has a bar service as well where you can order food and other drinks. They offered hor d'oeuvres as well. The interior amenities are really nice with huge windows from floor to ceiling so depending which side of the building you're on- may get the gold course view. The kitchen is small probably not meant for real daily cooking but comes with built in appliances and a small island counter. The bedrooms are spacious and the bathrooms are very elegant too. Overall staying here is really nice and upscale if you enjoy high rises and plenty of sunlight. read more

Top favorites: *Incredible gym with ceiling to floor windows(Equinox on steroids) *Complimentary breakfast- I grab oatmeal and fruit on my way out the door B-ball court & tennis court Outdoor patio and garden Private conference rooms Location is central on the Westside. So happy to be minutes from West Hollywood, Beverly Hills & Westwood. Staff is awesome. Kristi Locks, the leasing specialist, was awesome. Jeremy Lai helped us get the initial housekeeping items resolved--made the experience seamless. Elyce Talavera-incredible masseuse Ian Bounds has been awesome in coordinating family events we want to have at the property. From Reception, Robert Sherer, Marc Smith, Anthony Arguello, Scott Ward, Vladamir Curiel, Omar Lorenzana, Grace, Anthony are all amazing. Jennifer Monir(Jenny's awesome!) The staff in the dining hall are all incredible. Literally every single one. The service, particularly from Manny and Darwin, is amazing. I know i am forgetting some names and i will add them as i can. If you can make it happen, you should be living here, the best building in Los Angeles. read more

Time and time again he has impressed us with his work ethic and recommendations that have inevitably lead to unforgettable experiences during our time here in LA. I live in this building currently. I give it a one star rating not because of the day to day people who work here as I think they're amazing, but I believe the management is TERRIBLE in this building. I moved in March 1 and they eliminated ALL the amenities on March 16. I've had multiple discussions with management as they believe residents should be responsible for the entire rent even though there are no amenities being provided. The gym has been closed although they put a couple of machines outside for use but they require you wear a face mask OUTSIDE while on a machine while you're working out. The movie theater is CLOSED. The game room is CLOSED. They put a cover on the outdoor pool because it was closed and people had been swimming in it anyway. The indoor pool is closed as well as is the sauna and steam room. The conference rooms have been CLOSED. The building even went so far to remove all of the cushions on the outdoor furniture because they didn't want residents outside at all. The outdoor grills had also not been available although they were just made available a few days ago on a reservation basis. The continental breakfast that had been provided is also now quite limited without many of the items they offered before. The building even instituted guest restrictions requiring guests to leave before 11pm and not arrive until 7am. I have no idea how management believes they can dictate when guests visit residents. Also, the trim in my kitchen was not fixed to the wall since the very beginning when I moved in and I've discussed this several times with management and it still has not been fixed. It's a long piece of trim that is just simply off the wall and has been since I arrived. There is also marker ink and a hole in the shade in my son's bedroom also that was here upon arrival and never fixed, even though I have discussed this several times. All in all, I am not interested in living in this building. The views are great and my experience is that 100% of the day to day people working here are fantastic (friendly and outgoing and amazing) but there is no way this apartment building is worth 12k per month. By the way, it's important to note that the government did not dictate the closing of amenities in Los Angeles. The management of the building chose to close all of the amenities and it's my firm belief if they do that, they should most certainly offer a rent concession as residents are not receiving anything close to what they're paying for. The units are fairly small in size and residents choose to live here only because of the amenities that are supposed to come with the building. It's also important to note I took a lot of time debating on writing this review. I'm a business person and I understand how negative reviews can impact a company. I chose to write this though as I have tried and tried to work with management and my concerns are not being addressed and I think people who are considering this building should be able to see the thoughts and experiences of the residents who live here. read more

Something feels really wrong of recent. Ten Thousand building was always top notch service. Lately they are so short staffed in valet parking that it is a complete mess in front of building. All the top employees have been leaving especially from Valet and butlers and third floor. Not sure what is happening but if all the best employees are leaving and staff is being cut the building is about to go downhill fast. Hopefully management fixes these problems and brings this back to the greatness is was before the pandemic. read more

In addition to being a stunning building with incredible onsite amenities, I have to say that one of the most impressive things about this place is the exemplary and thoughtful service. I had the pleasure of hosting a meeting here and everyone who worked at the front desk made it their mission to make sure that every single detail of my experience was attended to with the utmost care. I know that the standard for service here is already high but it seems like everyone we interacted with went well out of their way to make sure that we were taken care of! I especially enjoyed working with Rashad and Ian of course did a splendid job helping to coordinate logistics and answering any and all of my questions before we ever got on-site. We've lived here for a few months now, we have run into issues every step along the way, everything from having a broken window on our 31st floor unit for 4 months to having gaps in the floorboards. The saviors here that have helped us deal with things and are always friendly and ready to help are Rowan from concierge and Miguel the butler. There's definitely other great staff members we love but the two of them always go out of their way to do anything within their power to help. Management treats tenants and staff both with flippant couldn't care less attitudes. Valet broke the parking break on my Mclaren and after over a month offered to SPLIT the $200 cost of getting it fixed with me. I highly recommend not working with Adriana the leasing agent, half the things she says are outright lies and doesn't own up to the unfulfilled promises and miscommunications. This would be a great place to live if you're here 1/4 of the time, living here full time is a living hell that feels filled with almost humorous timing of how often things go wrong. read more

Beware before signing- 'Everyone is helpful until you get the keys' I am a single business woman from Australia, and I was expecting a Grand Stay during my short term lease. ( months of a complete nightmare). The constant traffic inside and out, prostitutes, parties, drugs, you name it, I saw and heard it. I did NOT feel safe! People coming into my unit! I found some pets roaming around ( it appeared the animals got out accidentally?) Leaks, mold, broken fixtures, toilet malfunctions, Water pressure, the gym is not kept sanitized, what cleaning service, the list is endless, and I could not get anyone to help, assist or repair anything, I became too frightened to pursue further complaints. This was costly and NOT worth the money I paid! Needless to add, I am still reeling emotionally from this experience. I would never recommend this 'Pit Place' to anyone. Spend your money somewhere else! read more

We have been residents of 10K for about 6 months now. I have nothing but pleasant things to say about our experience thus far, the staff, the units, the cleanliness and safety of the building and the communication with the residents. We moved in during a difficult time with COVID and the staff have maintained the upmost professionalism. We worked with Adriana, the leasing agent through the entire leasing process. She was fantastic in walking us through the lease, the amenities, the building, showing us all the units we asked for, being responsive even on weekends and her days off. She made the whole process smooth and easy for us. The valet are always so delightful. Always ready to help. The front desk staff always responds to my texts immediately. It's like living in a 5* hotel with the upmost of service. Overall we truly enjoy living and working here and would highly recommend it. read more

When I first moved in I gave them a 5 star review, a month later 4 stars, now it's been almost a year and I give them only 2. By the time of my move-out day it's gonna be 1. I'm glad my lease is ending soon and I'll never have to live there again. Management is very bad and useless. The quality of the apartments is very poor. You hear neighbors next door, neighbors above and below all the time. Whenever your neighbors cook something or smoke weed you smell it in your apartment right away. It's gross! There's a lot of shady weird people who visit or/and live there. Some gangster-looking guy tried to get my girl's number in the elevator, since then she won't get into elevators with other people. The only positive thing about the building is the location, also the staff is nice and friendly. That's pretty much it. read more

WARNING TO FUTURE TENANTS!! DON'T SIGN! Don't be fooled by all the leasing ppl who tell you about all the perks they are offering.. As they are already cutting down a lot of those comps that were offered when we signed our lease and God knows what more they will cut. Signing or/and renewing your lease in this building simply means lesser value and TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT. So when they give you a tour to the 3rd floor and brag about the free breakfast.. DON'T BE FOOLED! They used to have free hors d'oeuvres in the afternoon starting at 3pm in addition to the free breakfast, but that's GONE even before the building turned a year-old. Breakfast was good until they tried to replace with bad quality food but the 2nd GM who they let go, cared enough about the tenants, to undo the change. NOW, they cut down the only protein on the table and next, could be no more breakfast? Most rentals start at 10K and up in the building but you will get your floors with not even real wooden floors, poor quality laminate engineered floors that couple of units already had their floors fixed, full of dust while tenants are living in it. Flooded bathrooms already happened to some units and the silly MINIATURE walk-in closet in the master bedroom is a total JOKE. Cutting down staffs mean your delivery will be delivered to your unit only until you complain about where the heck is your stuff!! Don't be too excited on the free in-house rides... no matter how many in-house cars this building has, but with one driver (a real joke heh), what are your chances to be dropped off? NONE! There was one day, when the only driver was sick and no rides were available for that day! Management is so screwed up. They are so desperate to fill up the units that they don't do background checks on tenants that led us to have a criminal tenant living among us, who embezzled money to the point FBI came to the building to arrest her. YOU HAVE ARRIVED when you live here! Ten thousand makes us feel taken care of and is above and beyond gorgeous. The valet, concierge and butler staff are all smart and actually there to help. No request is a nuisance or a challenge- they take pride in serving the tenants and it shows. I can control my universe within the seamless app: Request my car, log in visitors, order food, track packages (I have many!) pay rent, book amenities, view fitness classes & other events going... AND text the concierge any request or question. Although it's a luxury building it is also extremely kid-friendly. My five year old son loves the Arts & Crafts room with the LEGO wall & the theatre for watching movies with his buddies. Family yoga & breakfast in the lounge is a Sunday stable. When we want to be adults the scene never disappoints. The 3rd floor lounge is perfect for a glass of wine- the indoor/outdoor space is exactly what you want living in LA. The scene is classy & cool- an extension of a private club without the pretentious attitude. Butler Andrew and manager Rowen have been especially kind to us. Couldn't be happier! I lived at 10 k for 7 months with my boyfriend Reese. I enjoyed my time living there very much but my favorite part of the building besides the gym, was employee Rowan Prasad. Rowan solved all my problems and questions. If had a question or needed help from anything from finding a good dog sitte,r to getting me dinner reservations at the best place in town, to making sure I got a ride to the airport, Rowan always came thru for me. His calming and professional personality always left me at ease. He is definitely a huge asset to the Ten Thousand building. I can't speak as a resident since I don't live here. However I can speak as a guest visiting residents as I have been here many times. The facility is so beautiful. The people that work there are so nice and accommodating. Valet can be slow. The drink bar can be slow as well. I love the breakfast here. I love the tennis courts, the swimming pool, the gym, the outdoor area, I really love everything about this building and I wish I lived here!! read more
