The place is full of tea and more tea. I walked in the place was greeted warmly and I asked my questions was swiftly show several options. They have lots of Kong fu style tea pots and anything have to do with tea they have it. They were patient and sow me around with my endless questions. I sat down and drank my tea and ate some pastries. You can try different option of tea in their taste sessions. I hear the pineapple cake is a must try. I can't wait to try this place again.

Tea lovers heaven. Husband wanted to stop and check out the store. They have anything your tea loving heart desires like tea pots, tea sets, tea cups, and other accessories. They have a variety of teas like black tea, green tea, oolong tea, seasonal and more. The guy was knowledgeable and friendly. He helped husband with a tea that would help him relax and sleep at night. Cool place.

I am extremely happy with my purchases. The green tea I bought is perfect and my mom says the Jasmine tea I brought her is delicious too. Now I know where to go for great teas!

They have so many tea accessories.

This place is great, they were very helpful, friendly, and patient in explaining the different teas to me. I've been to every department store looking for a tea pot that would hold loose herb tea no luck, until I stop into this little shop that had many different kinds to choose from. The owner says that they are going to remodel in October and half of the store will be a place to sit and enjoy your tea. They plan to also have tea tasting class's, I will definitely be back!

Interesting experience. Took way longer than expected.

Hilarity ensued. Got the groupon got a one hour tea tasting for my SO and myself for his birthday because he loves tea. We are in good spirits as we sit here at the end of our one hour session barely on the first of four little tea pots because the poor girl working here is all alone and there's four other parties for her to tend to. I booked this session in advance. Yikes. Review edited to say owner kindly reached out to me. Makes all the difference. Thank you.

Is this a place where you can order a hot pot of tea to drink and hang out?

Hi James, I am so sorry, but due to a shortage of staff, we are not able to provide dine-in services right now.

Where can I find Ten Ren tea?

Jusgo on Bellaire has a wide selection of Ten Ren

I have tried various pu-erh (tuo cha, compacted balls of fermented tea) and oolong (black and high mountain) teas and all are excellent.

When I stopped by on a weekday evening at 9pm it was packed. They had stations setup throughout the store to order different goods, which helped to alleviate the rush. Knafeh ($6) - They offered 2 types of knafeh, one with cheese and one with custard. I went with the one made with Nabulsi cheese and topped with shredded phyllo, and soaked in sugar syrup. It was warm, crispy and delicious! Karak tea ($5) - This milk tea drink was made with aromatic spices, primarily cardamom, cloves, ginger and cloves. I was happy to see they used whole milk instead of evaporated milk. The drink was incredibly rich and creamy and tasted great. Turkish delight ($18 / lb.) - This was extremely fresh, soft and chewy, made with cornstarch, sugar, nuts. Some of the varieties I tried had chocolate and/or fruits. The baklava here was fresh made with layers of phyllo dough, chopped nuts, and held together with some honey. The nut offerings here included, almonds, walnuts, peanuts and a few more. Overall I was impressed with everything they offered here with the exception of the nuts, which I thought were just ok. I'd definitely return if I was in the area.

The desserts here are fun, unique, and very different from what you find at most places. My only…read morecomplaint is the lack of labeling for many of the products. For example, with the Turkish delights and ice cream selections, only a few items are labeled. For most of them, you have to guess the flavor or ingredients. When I asked questions, there was a language barrier, and the staff member behind the counter was unable to clearly explain what the items were in English. This can be especially frustrating for customers with food allergies or dietary restrictions. In the U.S., I would expect all flavors and ingredients to be clearly labeled so customers can make informed choices. Even if staff members are not fluent in English, having accurate labels for flavors and ingredients would greatly improve the customer experience. The desserts themselves are excellent, but better product labeling would make the experience much more enjoyable and accessible for everyone.

But despite that, they're still very fresh which does speak to the level of commitments that the store has in ensuring a fresh supply. They also offer a variety of pressed juices like sugar cane and pennyworth that I was able to try. The sugar cane was very refreshing and not overly sweet. The amount of ice was also fairly appropriate and not overly done. They will try to fulfill your order as quickly as they can, but if they forget, just give them a gentle reminder.
