I had the worst experience with this firm. I had an Owner Move In which should have been seamless. I worked with Colin Frey Esq who drew up my 60 day notice to tenant - served tenant and found out 55 days in that Colin failed to notify Rent board within the required 10 days so my case was needing to be restarted if I wanted to be successful with my case. I constantly inquired how case was going only to be told it was moving along never mentioning he failed to file paperwork timely. It was only after I went to rent board to inquire how things were moving was I informed that my paperwork was filed late and I would e running risk of losing if I proceeded. I was forced at this point to restart my 60 days over and never did Collin own his mistake until I told him what I found out and that I wanted my money back so that I could hire another firm. They gave partial funds back when I feel they should have given me all my funds back. I would not recommend this firm- I had to do all the reaching out and it was still not enough!' WORST FIRM EVER - AVIOD!! In over a decade of working with & serving the best lawyers in the country I can safely say with some proper professional sample size that this is the worst law firm I've ever encountered. John Schilt was more of a "collector" than he was a proper legal guide in any measurable way. It has been years since I fired his firm, switched firms mid litigation, and it was so harmful to my case. DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE, is my humble recommendation to protect yourself. After I fired them they added about $2k in unapproved charges / "hours" with no measurable output I saw and then proceeded to formally threaten litigation if I didn't pay. Reminds me of...you fill in the blanks... BOTTOMLINE: Don't mess with these people at Tenax, especially John Schilt! BEWARE. It has taken me years to find great legal representation that would crush any firm in any real litigation, let alone former BS claims from Tenax. I wish I had proper representation back then. I hired Tenax for help and then they turned on me for their self interest after their failures & me firing them....in my humble opinion, save yourself by moving on to another lawyer.
