In 2018 I suffered a work accident. I almost lost my life when a scaffold built by a general contractor collapsed while I was working on it. Luckily only my feet were fractured. As a result of the accident I had surgery on my heel bone back in place with metal screws and a metal plate. The doctor told me that my right heel was like a broken eggshell in many little pieces and I would not be able to run or do the physical activities I used to do before the accident. And I was choked to find out that the general contractor was uninsured. The general contractor and the homeowner helped me with some mone for a few weeks. We were referred to Loren Schwartz by a medical provider who helps my wife with treatments needed as a result of a car accident she was involved in. We learned a lot during this process; 1 thing being that broken bones, stitches, deformities, anything that can easily be "seen", typically have an associated dollar range the insurance company is likely to settle at. Soft tissue injuries and concussions, neuro skeletal issues, are not easily seen. Insurance companies may challenge the severity of these sorts of injuries and by association, the amount they are willing to settle at, even when the insurance company's client is 100% at fault. So where do I begin. About 2 years ago, I was involved in a motorcycle accident.
