Their drip is a single origin the roast, where they had Ethiopian Sidamo roast when I visited. It had the vharacteristic blueberry note as normal for the region. Way less expensive and much better quality than the big Star chain! The menu offers pour over coffee, which got me really excited. However the barista told me the pour over machine was broke. Machine? Pour over is literally just pouring water over the coffee in a filter. Weird. Apparently not real baristas. The BACON, EGG AND CHEESE BISQUIT was good. The bacon was thick, good quality piece of pork The place is clean, however the ambulance was felt a little like a cafeteria, and not as cozy as some coffee shops. They have many small tables, with some near power outlets for those that plan to plugin and work. The barista seemed depressed. They were definitely not greeting customers with a happy persona. I hope he is ok. Didn't feel welcomed. Overall, I would come back, but I didn't leave being wow'd.

Yes, a strange combination but it worked really well. A very comfortable spot that was just what we needed as we started to warm up to our first coffee of the day. Lots of seating, a very clean restroom and a laid back vibe. And great coffee! [Review 75 of 2025 - 4050 in North Carolina - 23643 overall]

And a gluten free + vegan macaron that tasted like coconut, plus banana with chocolate chips! A perfect pairing. If the drink and food aren't worth my 1.5 hour drive, throw in a beautiful backdrop setting of forest, trees, birds, a couple bunnies, dogs and their owners. Along with some coffee lovers who attended the Caffeine Crawl. Cafe Driade was stop 2 on the route. And, it'd definitely worth the drive! We already have plans to return. I'm already planning a matcha tasting along with Carrboro coffee! Must try!!

This is an interesting place to have coffee at any time with friends and enjoy nature. There's so many places to sit amongst the trees and to relax it's quite enjoyable. They have a pretty decent selection of coffee and they offered some food items as well. I really enjoyed my time here. I just wish they had more comfortable chairs. The metal small chairs are not comfortable so we weren't here as long as we would've liked to have been. I tried something completely new out of my comfort zone, a golden milk latte. This was absolutely delicious and I would get this again. I was able to add honey as my sweetener and really enjoyed this different cup of coffee.
