The chef was pretty standard, but it was so fun watching my MIL get shocked and surprised every time he did something cool, like the flaming onion volcano tower. The food was cooked perfectly although there was a bit too much salt on our hibachi entrees. Half of our group ordered hibachi and the other half ordered sushi, so everyone left happy. I can't remember the name of our server, but he also spoke Japanese, and was the most fun server I've had in recent memory. Thank you, MeAkan, for the night to remember. We can't wait to dine there again whenever we go back home to visit them.

The robot server immediately won us over--equal parts charming, efficient, and unintentionally hilarious. Then our human server arrived and somehow managed to out‑funny the robot, which is no small feat. His one‑of‑a‑kind humor absolutely stole the show and had us laughing between every bite. The hibachi chef? Pure perfection. A fantastic cook with the kind of showmanship that makes you wonder if hibachi school includes a minor in stand‑up comedy. Dinner and entertainment rolled into one sizzling performance. The ambiance is classic hibachi--Japanese‑themed, lively, and nicely done. Exactly what you hope for when you're in the mood for dinner with a side of impressive entertainment.

This place sits behind a hotel on the main road into Warner Robbins. I've been here before and the…read morefood is OK. It's just nothing super exciting. The fried rice was a bit bland and needed quite a bit of soy sauce and pepper. The scallops and the steak were actually perfectly cooked and was very tasty. The vegetables that came with the dinner that were sautéed were also a bit bland. I ordered the sushi roll and the octopus salad. The sushi roll was tasty, but the wasabi didn't have any kind of kick to it at all and I didn't get a soy dish so I just poured the soy sauce over each piece as I was eating it which actually saturated a bit much, but it was still good. The octopus salad was six tiny little thin livers of tuna on top of some big chunky sliced cucumbers, which were in a soy type sauce that did nothing for the dish all in all it filled me up, but it was nothing to Write home about and I'm not sure it was worth the $60. I paid not including the tip. The restaurant seemed somewhat clean, but you can tell it's been there for a long time and the service was fast, but the friendliness seemed a bit forced. I know that if I really like a restaurant, I go back frequently because I eat out a lot and not having been there in a while should've told me it wasn't the greatest, but I don't remember anything really bad so every now and then I'll try it again. Oh, and they still had some Christmas decoration that were lit up out from however long ago last year or what which tells me they're not too much into working at keeping everything in order. Lol I'll let you know if anything changes and when I have another experience worth writing about at this particular restaurant.

Service was great and the staff was attentive, which I really appreciated. I ordered a salmon…read moreavocado roll and a beef/chicken hibachi. Unfortunately, shortly after eating the sushi, I started to feel sick and couldn't eat the hibachi. Not long after leaving the restaurant, I ended up throwing up everything I had eaten (which was just the sushi roll and some soup).

The interior is a bit small, so I hope to never catch it busy that I have to take the food to go, though a lot of the options would travel well. Speaking of the food, none of the proteins I've tried were a miss. They've all been tender and flavorful, though a lot of the flavor comes from the sauce they use. Perhaps the proportions are a little off for me, but I think there's a bit too much rice to protein. I'm the most upset about the amount of curry given for the Japanese curry, but I tend to like to have more curry to spoon into my rice. It was a little awkward that the potatoes and carrots were to the side instead of being cooked with the curry though. Also, the curry wasn't spicy at all, but I knew to not expect it from Japanese curry. If looking for something spicy, there are sauces that are specifically pointed out to be spicy that you can get from ordering a plate. My last thing of note is that there's an inconsistent amount of cucumber pickles given for the bowls, which is fine, but I do like it the most out of the slaw and red pickles given to as a side. I'm glad Tenmii opened up a location here from Macon! The parking is fine, but the lot is one way, which was a little confusing at first.

My rice was cold, the meat was cold, the sauce was lumpy like it had not been thawed out all the way. The sauce was over barring and I ended up just eating whatever plain rice was left in the middle of my cold pile of rice. We also ordered the gyoza ... wasn't a fan it was slimier than I'm used to with steamed gyoza. I'll come back and try the noodle dish since that seemed to be a hit with everyone in the restaurant.
