Went there today with my boyfriend, who is also a beginner as I am. We knew little about tennis rackets and honestly any other things about tennis. For us, we just want rackets that fit us well (lighter/heavier, length, etc) and use them to exercise and have some fun. The owner gave us very helpful suggestions. We ended up getting two used ones and we are extremely happy with these. He changed the grip tapes for us for free. We talked about tennis and other random stuff with him. A very nice guy! This store is definitely a hidden gem for people who want to buy nice but cheaper tennis rackets, like us. But don't expect to buy other kinds of tennis supplies there, like shoes or shorts. Good luck!

Jaden and Tracy were so kind and helpful as I looked for new tennis shoes that could double for pickleball kicks as well.

I remember years ago that they used to sell even camping equipment and items like hunting gear but it looks like they no longer carry such items based on my visit today. The store ioffers wide selection of popular brands, including Nike, Adidas, and North Face, as well as their own private-label brand, DSG. I did score on a pair of running shoes that were on sale and a decent price but decided to put my workout gear back as to. I know I can find better prices online. Price point set aside, I appreciate the variety of products and at least knowing there is a solid sporting good s store in the area. You can't go wrong here, searching for miscellaneous, sporting goods items. The staff here are very helpful with answering questions, locating items, and helping you navigate the store.

After the fit finder evaluation / thorough consultation (with Ria), I decided to mold a pair of $99 R-GEAR custom insoles (supreme arch support, maximum shock absorption), test them out (in-store), and bring them home. My FSA card didn't work at the register. Instead, I paid with my CC and submitted for reimbursement, which I received a couple days later. 90-DAY PERFECT FIT PROMISE - you get 90 days to give 'em a test run!

When I walked in, there was no one at the front desk. I had to look for an employee, and when I finally found one, I told her it was my first time and that I was looking for running shoes. She asked if it was my first time shopping there, and when I said yes, she told me she couldn't sell me anything unless I was buying more than one item. I even mentioned that I was considering getting two pairs of shoes, but she still refused to let me try anything on. She said I needed to get them "adjusted" or that I had to know my exact size first and she never showed me a single pair of shoes. I felt completely dismissed and discriminated against, as if she assumed I wasn't worth helping. She even told me that I'd be better off shopping online, which made no sense if I wanted to shop online, I'd have bought better brands elsewhere. I went to the store because I wanted to try the shoes on and choose the best fit. But she had zero interest in helping me and made it clear she didn't want to assist me at all. I want to be clear: I'm not writing this review to get free products or attention. I just want to express how disappointing it was to be treated this way. A store that focuses on customer interaction should offer better service. If your job is to sell, at least do it professionally and respectfully.

My kids will never know how lucky they are, ha ha! Sport Fair has just about everything except Tyr. I miss that brand but I love Speedo and Arena products just as much. The amount of stock is amazing, and the accoutrements are all there from special towels and goggles to training aids and drag suits. They might not carry every specialty item you dream of, but they carry a reasonable facsimile and as I like to say, all you need to do swimming is a suit and goggles. All that other stuff is just other stuff you gotta keep up with! I've ordered branded swim caps through Sport Fair and have been really happy with the quality. I've purchased training suits for me (the giant drag suits), goggles, swim caps, and suits for my kids. In particular I was thrilled to get toddler size speedo suits for my daughters so they don't have to wear Target bargains. If you want your kid to learn to swim, they have to enjoy it and being dragged to the bottom by a stupid tutu or other absurd sexist decoration on a toddler suit from target is not my idea of fun! So not only have I thought the suits from here to be more fun for my kids, but safer, too. Really pleased to have this gem in our community.
