I am always cognizant of when the clock will strike too because I always think if I wanna eat some food there I better get myself to Previte's Marketplace lickety split. The marketplace shares a building with a bakery that I will review separately. The marketplace and the bakery are separate businesses under separate ownership and management. There is a common area sort of like wide hallway in between the bakery and Previte's Marketplace with several tables at which patrons may sit and eat whatever they have purchased from either of these two businesses. As for Previte's Marketplace, there are typically lines of people waiting to get a fresh hot lunch that might include fresh, sliced turkey, meat, stuffing, mashed potatoes, delicious gravy, and more. over there right away. I'm focusing on this delicious Thanksgiving like spread that's available year-round because it's one of my absolute favorite things to eat at Previte's Marketplace. The marketplace has all different kinds of meat and other protein, including red meat, poultry, lamb,, pork, and veal and more. Proves marketplace has skilled butchers ready to cut the meat to your liking. Previte's Marketplace also has a multitude of prepared entrées ready for you to take home to serve to your family and friends or to bring to any social gathering. Such choices include cocktail, meatballs, and sauce, chicken, Parmesan, meat, and cheese, lasagna, and much more. They also have quiches and salads and more. Previte's Marketplace also has a full scale catering service that is available. Although I have not tried using their catering the service, I cannot imagine that the food would be any less wonderful at a catered affair than it is being carried out by oneself for lunch or dinner. By the way, there are a couple of tables just outside of the marketplace, but still inside the building in which Previte's Marketplace is housed. I frequently get my lunch there and of course, most often I get the turkey stuffing and mashed potato plate. By the way, they also make turkey stuffing and cranberry sauce submarine sandwiches. Absolutely delicious but very messy so get plenty of napkins! The only negative thing about this location is the actual location itself: it's on a very busy road with very limited parking, although there are some parking spots across the street. Honestly, it's so rare for them that we didn't think much of it, but my husband stopped in today and mentioned it. What happened next is exactly why we keep going back. They didn't just acknowledge it -- they went above and beyond. They replaced it with a free NY strip steak, and on top of that gave us Prime Butcher playing cards and a big bottle of their "Everything" seasoning. Completely unexpected and absolutely appreciated. That kind of customer service is hard to find these days. They didn't have to do any of that, but they did -- and it speaks volumes about who they are. The manager and staff are always smiling, cracking jokes, and just genuinely good, down-to-earth people. And the meat? Always beyond delicious -- you won't find better anywhere else. Previte's is our go-to supermarket. We are there nearly everyday…read more Pretty much everything we need is there, and we have very limited reasons to go to the large chain supermarkets around. Previte's offered to stock some of the things that would pull us away occasionally! Ron and team keep the produce on point. Routinely get deli meats, and various sandwiches. Everything is always great. Life causes a frequent need for premade foods and entrees. Calzones are awesome. Pizza is good in a pinch. Have had many premade entrees and lots of good options. Cheese, Montillio's desserts, Nona ice cream, and all the fresh meats keep us coming back. Everyone is always friendly and accommodating. Sometimes the lines get long but the staff is quick to open registers to move people along. Inside is great plenty of room for them to add more. Easy interior seating if you want to stay there and eat. Looking forward to seeing how to use the space to offer us more. Tons of local events outside, bringing local artisans and shops to the exterior. They can open an entire wall so you can walk into the produce area. All in all a great fixture in the community

A stock boy named Mike was exceptionally kind and helpful. A few months ago , another very kind gentleman helped me carry heavy boxes again. I think his name was John? I've been putting off a review, waiting for things to get better but . . . after…read more12'ish years of regular shopping here, today is marking the end of my tolerance for consistently slipping service, questionable inventory and overall sadness on the shelves. It didn't used to be this way but the past four or five months the shopping experience here has been steadily declining. Today at noon'ish, the hot foods counter was bare. Absolutely nothing in the trays. The cold foods were full but- tired looking. I no longer get anything from the prepared foods anyway, as I was on the losing end of an interrogation about potato salad last month (. . . and exactly why is it orange?) that was never going to provide an answer from the uninformed employee. Today, I did get prepared chicken salad this trip as it's delicious when it's made to their original recipe (rotisserie chicken, mayo, celery) but not so much when the chef skips the mayo. And celery. It looks like it has everything in it this time, so I'm hoping. Today in Produce, I did find two tomatoes on the vine. Not the delicious, locally-grown ones I found in here last week, but beggars can't be choosers, so I grabbed the last ones. Last week it was scallions. No scallions- why? That day, the helpful employee didn't deny it was odd, he just shrugged and said, "Maybe in a couple of days?". I could maybe excuse the empty shelves and the clueless employees except for the cashiers who know better than the customer. Today was the third visit I asked the employee conducting a painfully slow checkout process not to squash everything in my order into only one of my shopping bags but . . . nah, he knew best. so all went in one bag. Then he backed the cart out of his way into the line of people waiting patiently behind me, (insted of pulling it forward) saying, "You want your cart?" Why do I want that cart? I'm happy to put it back in the cart line without you running some poor woman's foot over with it, but sure, I'll drag the cart around the counter and through the line because I'm standing at the end of the counter emptying half of what's in one of my bags and filling the second bag with it anyways, so . . . I started shopping at TFM for the quality, the variety of unusual items and the pleasant employees who were helpful, doing a job, and trying to do it well. No clue what's happening, but I can't annoy myself here any more. But now I have to find Malted Milk Balls somewhere that even come close to TFM ones, and that's not gonna happen anytime soon!
