First off, service is friendly and efficient. I ordered a "Korean Bulgogi Steak" Taco and a "Kracken" Taco. I got my order within about 10 minutes. The ordering experience was great but the best was yet to come. I dove into the "Kracken" first. Great taste! The taco consisted of Togarashi Fried Calamari, Tropical Slaw, Krack Sauce and Green Onion on a locally sourced flour tortilla. Great crunch and the Calamari was cooked to perfection. Definitely, would have this again. Next, I tried the Korean Bulgogi Steak Taco. It was exactly the flavor I expected. Little sweet with a little heat. This taco consisted of Bulgogi Marinated Steak, Ponzu Slaw, Green Onions and Sriracha. Once again, the taco does not disappoint. Great flavor and the kick of Sriracha is spot on to round out the flavors. This experience only makes me want to try the rest of their menu. I recommend you follow them on Facebook and track them down in Colorado Springs. This place is a "must try" in my book.

And the wait time given was two and half hours. In an hour and a half I got the text. It was worth the wait! The Maui Wowie taco was so delicious I will be thinking of it for days! The Mahi Mahi was also flavorful and tasty! We also ordered the Fish and Chips. I'm interested to know if they are fresh or frozen. They were moderately good. Great tartar sauce. I will definitely be following this truck around like a groupie.

Oh my word! The food is SO GOOD!…read more Okay, my first thing to report that wasn't really mentioned in the reviews I saw...there is outdoor seating and very limited indoor seating. The indoor seating filled up very quickly and it was just a bit too chilly to sit outside in the shade today. Everyone seems to talk about the line that forms before the restaurant opens. I stood and chatted with folks waiting in line. The folks that were doing the meat smoking and taking orders were all SUPER FRIENDLY even though they were also working so diligently to get orders prepared and customer orders ready. The food! We ordered so much food. We'll be eating BBQ all weekend. We got a pound of brisket. This was smart because damn, it's delicious! I love that they cut it thick. Its perfectly smoked and not too fatty, though they also sell a moister brisket too. We got a full rack of pork ribs too! This is a lot, but also absolutely phenomenal taste and chew! Perfectly smoked! We got potato salad, coleslaw and beans. All fantastic and at an affordable price. We couldn't pass up the cobbler and got both the peach and the bourbon pecan cobblers. I'm so full. Time for a nap. But I've already decided this is where I'm going for my birthday next month. I loved The Chuckwagon!

Lots of European flavor to find at Vladi's!…read more Colorado Springs Food Guy had lunch at Vladi's European Street Food Truck. The Langosh is the centerpiece of the menu. It is Hungarian style fried bread resembling a pita but the texture is soft, light and flaky and tastes so good. I sampled the Langosh Burger, the Gypsy Sandwich, the BBQ pulled pork, the Potato Griddlecake, and the Hungarian Sausage. The Langosh Burger was juicy with both Canadian and American bacon. The Gypsy Sandwich was filled with seasoned, seared pork with all the fixings wrapped in a Langosh. The pulled pork and Hungarian sausage dishes were also wrapped in Langosh and loaded with spices, peppers and onions. The ingredients tasted fresh. Their meat was tender and complimented the bread perfectly! The Potato Griddlecake was also very delightful. Mr. Vladi was also very nice and greeted us personally with a smile. He also has an array of breakfast dishes. The food truck is mostly at the Curbside Cuisine Downtown but he also attends other areas in Colorado. Looking forward to eating at more European venues!
