I don't often order takeout but I was under the weather and opted to try this Thai place and I was AMAZED at the quality! The Pad Thai was quite possibly the best we have had here in town and the sautéed chicken with peanut sauce was equally outstanding with fresh crisp veggies and a sauce that I could put on everything! My husband said the spring rolls were the best he has ever had and clearly were freshly made. He also noted that it was nice that they individually wrap them as most places don't and then they stick together because of the moisture, he very much appreciated this extra step! I love spicy and normally have to order hot everywhere and it's barely hot enough for me, but this place definitely knows how to put some spice on it! Hot is definitely hot here! Everything was excellent in quality, flavor, preparedness, etc. We look forward to dining at this establishment as well. We were very pleased with our first visit to Nom Nom Thai. We were recognized immediately at the door and seated. We were promptly given a menu and ordered and received our food within ten minutes. The food was very hot and fresh. The serving size was large. The taste was delicious and authentic. I ordered spice level 3/4 but really wasn't spicy. We ordered chicken Soup, cheese ragoons, Pai Thai chicken noodles, chicken fried rice, and Thai tea. It was all very tasty! We liked the tables, decor, and atmosphere. From what I ordered, I got a very generic bland meal. We had the appetizer sampler which just tasted like a conglomeration of all the frozen fried Asian appetizers you keep in your freezer. They were extremely generic and bland, some of the worst food I've been served at a restaurant. The yellow curry was very sweet and overly coconut flavored, felt like I couldn't taste any other flavors as well as being under salted. Potatoes and carrots were undercooked and felt way too raw in the center. The carrots are bearable but raw potato tastes and feels so bad. We hit up Nom Nom after working up an appetite in the escape room place around the corner from here (CodeBusters, if you're interested). The restaurant itself was clean and brightly lit, with a eager and friendly staff who were attentive and professional. I had a peanut chicken dish, the wife had a green curry w/tofu, and my 7yo had a noodle dish, but ended up just eating most of my chicken. This spot was near the tattoo shop we were at so we ended up eating here after we were done there. We've gotten thai tea here before but this time we actually sat down and ordered dinner. The place itself is spacious and clean! The bathrooms are also spacious too. Service was okay. They forgot the thai tea we ordered so we just asked for it to go. They didn't really bother to check up on us or refill our waters despite us basically sitting in front of where they were at the register. We ordered the chicken pad thai $14.50, a curry, and a chicken satay $9.99. The food looked and smelled good however both of the dishes I had were SALTY. The satay needed to be dunked in the peanut sauce to cover how salty it was. At least the pad thai saltiness could be slightly covered by the chicken but not by much. We were chugging water the entire time and I normally don't drink much water when I'm eating so that's saying something for me. Since there's a lot of other restaurants in the area, I would probably try somewhere else that's hopefully less salty read more

I'm always excited to try new Thai spots -- but sadly, this one really missed the mark. Service: Pretty much non-existent. No one checked in on us at any point during the meal. They dropped off our food and didn't come back until it was time for the check. No warmth, no engagement -- just in and out. The peanut sauce, though, was super thin -- more like a broth than a dip. * Pad Thai: Did not look promising when it came out. The noodles were stiff and not soft at all -- definitely not fresh. Flavor-wise, it was overly sweet with zero spice or tang. It lacked the balance you'd expect, and there was no depth to it at all. * Pad See Ew: Visually looked great at first, but once again -- way too sweet. The noodles were chewy in a not-so-good way, the beef was tough, and even the broccoli had a weird rubbery texture. Nothing about it tasted fresh or well-prepared. * Thai Tea: It was fine. Pretty average -- not as sweet as other places, which is ironic considering how sugary the food was. Overall: This place just didn't hit the mark for me. We always enjoy eating at Nom Nom Thai. They have a dish I have found in a few other places and which I'd love: Salt and Pepper Tofu. If they made it as an entrée, that's all I would ever order. Instead, I have to order it as an appetizer and share it with my husband! On this visit, we both had iced tea, the salt and pepper, tofu, and a veggie stirfry for him and pad see eew with tofu for me. Everything was very tasty. Kids got appetizer plate was 24.99 was 1.5 egg rolls served so 1/2 an egg roll is counted as a serving. 3 small shrimp, 3 chicken skewers and 3 wontons. Salt & pepper tofu was ok, for 9.99 portion was small. Jasmine tea was served tepid so had no tea flavor. Service was lackluster, entire place looks very run down. People seemed nice. Kind of an interesting decor. They had a TV with a girl eating food continuously on a big screen and it was the least entertaining and kind of unappetizing to see. The food we ordered tasted good, but we found egg shells in our food. I found them only after I took bites of them, so it was extremely unpleasant. We told the server, and he gave us 10% off for the order. I feel like we should have received a refund, but I don't think he understood what we were saying. He asked if we found eggs after asking for no egg, and we kept explaining that there were egg SHELLS. He had already taken the plates away (he DID see the bitten small pieces of shells on them) so we couldn't prove. Clean, open environment that gets busy for a reason. Friendly staff who answer questions and are patient with customers. If you like bland, typical food this place is not for you. Food is made to order and delicious. I recommend the Salt and Pepper Tofu (actually has a great kick with simple, but amazing flavors), Tongkatsu Ramen, and Tom Yum Noodle Soup. Tongkatsu had flavorful broth and pork slices that melted in your mouth. Tom Yum is a creamy delicious soup with a hint of lemon that was refreshing. We only went with a level 2 on both and it had a good heat that did not take away from the flavor (spice levels offered 1-4). The sake is a lighter alcohol content, but the flavor is amazing. Some sake tastes like dirty water, but this was light and refreshing! Some people said it was too spicy (I am not sure what heat they are used to because this was spot on). I did a 3 with the guy tell me it was going to be very hot personally for me that was more of a medium, next time I come back he might have to crank it on up to a 7 for me. This used to be my favorite Thai place in the springs but something has changed recently. My last 2 orders had no spice at all. One order I requested level 2 and got zero. So the next time I ordered level 3 and still got ZERO! I couldn't find one red dot of spice in my food. I'm confused how there was never a problem for so long and now I can't get any spice out of this place so I won't be going back ever. I wasted enough money on bland Thai food. They also went from having the best rangoons to tiny anemic rangoons with hardly any filling at all. Will not be back. read more
